@MariosACandRefrigeration Yessir! I appreciate the support. Accumulators aren't going to have an orifice. It's basically just a couple pipes in and out. What makes you think your accumulator is bad? What kind of system?
@@SupermarketRefrigeration On a walk in freezer,a 3 hp semi.locked up ,cylinders full of oil,i could not figure out what caused it,i was thinking the orfice on the oil return tube on the accumulator had plugged, and it sent too much oil at once, not sure,if it was the pipping size,or them turning it off for inventory,or the dft too high, always wonder what causes that.
There will be an oil return orifice on an accumulators return to compressor. Usually I will cut one loose during a compressor replacement and dump it over to see if debris or filthy oil comes out. Typically, if there are no piping issues or defrost issues and you're having oil return problems, the accumulator is at fault
@@MariosACandRefrigerationshort cycling will cause oil pumping. If you had a system that was low and its banging on and off rapidly, you will pump the oil out of crankcase and you're not gonna bring it back because the compressor isn't running long enough and the pressure is low.
Great job explaining the oil control system.
Thank you Sir.
Been a auto tech last 15 years commercial refrigeration looks pretty interesting. Thanks for making the videos cool stuff.
I really enjoy it. Thank you for the support.
TXV=THERMAL expansion valve. That is a pressure regulator that does not have a bulb controlling it off of temperature . Happy Labor Day
Glad you understand that. I say oil TXV because it helps people to understand.
@@SupermarketRefrigeration Im new to your channel. Just busting your ballz
@chrisconklin873 keep bustin buddy. Glad to have you here.
I've always just called it a pot. Never even knew the real term for it
Thanks man! Keep them coming
Yessir! Low pressure system coming soon!
Nice work, now for the low pressure oil system 👍
@gr82becool as soon as I can Sir. Thank you 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Great explanation!
@@Reefertech Thank you Sir.
Yessss nice appreciate the info
You got it brotha
Thanks for sharing.how do you trouble shoot a plugged orfice on a suction accumulator?# 100 on our way to 5k.
