Thanks Dan for the Detailed Foodie recommendations in Oahu! Glad you guys got a good variety of food on your trip! Dole Whip there must be extra authentic! 😍😋
I plan to be there for xmas so I can't wait to visit a few of these places! BTW are you planning to visit of the other islands? I'm going to the Big Island in November. It would be great to see local joints in Kona/Waikoloa.
Thanks Dan for super detailed on foodies goodies on that paradise Island. Everything looks good 👍👍I can’t wait to be there to explore the taste and the environment 😊
Last part of your video, looks like you guys were eating at Side Street Inn. One of my favs in Hawai'i. Also, you guys need to try Helena's over there at Kalihi. They are known for their short ribs with a springled of their salt and pieces of raw onions. The best you will ever taste. They're featured all over food shows....
Dan, one question...how much weight did you gain while in Hawaii? 🤣🤣 Next time you're there try Roy's in Hawaii Kai, only this Roy's. All others are just ok, but this one is the original and the best. Order a bunch of appetizers for dinner and skip the entrees. Also, try The Pig and the Lady (fusion Vietnamese). Very good. You can also walk around the old Chinatown and duck into the alleyways and fish markets where you can get home made food from the local stalls. Not much to look at, but some gems. And try the KFC from Zippy's or go to the Alley Cafe for KFC (Korean Fried Chicken). Try the combo chicken and kal bi plate. It's the best. They are Alley because they are in the Aiea Bowling alley. :)
Hi Interested in the Side Street Inn. What was the first dish with the dark meat, please? Was that Kalbi and what was served with it please? Was the meat cut up pork chops or ribs? Look delicious and would like to try. Thanks for video
