  • Build ripped muscle like Zac with this program…
    athleanx.com/x/...
Zac Efron’s workout and diet plan are making waves this Summer because of his incredible physique transformation preparing for Baywatch. Along side the Rock, Zac holds his own, having carved out a chiseled body by focusing on 7 key elements of his training and nutrition. Recently, Men’s Fitness magazine published a story about the gains Efron made to get ready for his Summer comedy role.
In this video, I am breaking down the most important aspects of his diet plan and workouts to help you to start getting better results from your workouts heading into Summer. I’m also going to take a look back at a former “most wanted” celebrity body (that of Taylor Lautner) to see what went wrong and prevented his gains from being permanent.
First and foremost, it is worth noting that neither Zac Efron or Taylor Lautner are heavyweights. Both stand just 5 foot 10 inches tall and weigh no more than 170 pounds. To make his transformation for Baywatch, Efron gained just 10 pounds of lean muscle. The thing is, when you minimize your body fat levels and maximize the amount of muscle your body can naturally carry…you look much bigger than you are. Both of these guys have mastered this.
That said, you can’t expect to look better without being willing to put in some hard work along the way. Zac did just this by adopting more heavy weight training into his workout routine. He stated that he never had lifted very heavy or explosive before preparing for this film. A lot of people actually find themselves in a similar position either because they are uncomfortable lifting heavy or just don’t have the base strength to be able to do it.
By increasing his strength levels on the basic compound lifts, Efron was able to start adding to his muscle density and thickness.
Next he followed a push, pull, legs training split. This workout sequence allows you to train your body more athletically since you train movements instead of individual muscles. The back and biceps are responsible for all lifts in which you pull the weight towards you or pull your body towards a fixed bar. It’s impossible to isolate their actions so it helps to train them together to allow you more recovery time between workouts.
Daily ab training is another key to having the resting tone needed to showcase your abs year round (provided your diet and nutrition are in check). Zac Efron’s diet is also covered here as well. By including a cheat day once in awhile, he is able to maintain his sanity and consistency required to keep his body fat levels low year round.
For a complete workout and nutrition plan to build athletic, ripped muscle like Zac Efron head to athleanx.com and get the ATHLEAN-X Training System. Get step by step workouts and a day by day meal plan to take all the guesswork out of your transformation.

Jeff I have no words to say it, but I would like to give you a hug, 6 years ago I took a big decision about changing my life style... This isn't the right video but I'll help you out.
Just remember that if you take any curve, you approximate it using a tangent plane. remember that the equation of a plane:
      A(x-a) + B(y-b) + C(z-c) = 0.
the equation of a tangent plane:
      df/dx (x-a) + df/dy (y-a) + df/dz (z - c) = 0
since the tangent plane you use to approximate the curve's contour is always zero, the gradient, which is equal to is also equal to . And remember that on a plane, the vector is always orthogonal to the plane. So you can conclude that the gradient equals and you know that is always orthogonal to the tangent plane, which is flat for an instantaneous point on a surface, which also means that the gradient is orthogonal to any point on the surface.
      hope I helped

Last year I straightened up my diet to an extreme level and ate low carbs and high protein. I never really did cardio or anything so I decided to give it a try since I had a lot of extra time on my hands. I ate the same meals every day (you can eat other food I just liked the simplicity) watching my carbs and fats et cetera, and I implemented 30 minutes to an hour on the treadmill after every workout. Only aid I took was creatine. I stuck to that regime for a little over a month and a half and lost about 18 pounds. I looked much bigger than I had previously with very little additional mass gain. Point being, as someone who was skeptical about looking bigger while losing fat, hell even eating fats to lose fat lol I realized that if you really implement yourself and stay loyal to a strict diet and have some nutritional knowledge that you can make some pretty crazy changes in your physique. I know for a fact that if I wanted to stick to a meal plan to gain mass that I could easily do it, the effort and dedication would be hard but if I managed that then I could "easily" do it. Quit shortselling people who work their ass off for what they want because if you implemented the amount of time and discipline as Zac or myself did into a work out regime then you would see how "easy" it is to make gains and or change your physique in a big way. A magician is not fascinated by "magic". Don't be a simpleton. Apply yourself and truly try to the best of your ability to achieve a specific goal and you will see definite positive results.

So you really looked bigger after losing 18 pounds? Man, I would love to reduce my body fat % because I've always heard that being lean makes you look bigger but I just have such a big appetite lol. Plus, my strength is just insane right now. I'm fucking rowing 110 lb dumbbells and putting 4 45 lb plates on each side for shoulder press. But I really would love to get my chest more defined and see my abs.

Ever since summer, I've started to change my diet, began to eat right, and work out (mostly body weight training). I'v been eating more greens, more protein, not eating tiamisu for breakfast anymore, and such. Sure, I still poorly eat sometimes but less frequent than when I was before. I may not look like Zac Efron but I'm beginning to see a significant difference. I dropped twenty pounds and I am able to maintain it. I am beginning to see signs of muscle leanness when I look in the mirror. All in all, just doing it half way I can see differences.

Intermittent fasting, only eating 2-3 meals a day, within a 6-12 hour time period is best. 10 pm in bed, cuz you repair muscles the first couple hours of early in bed sleep.

I've been going to the gym doing weights for 35 years. I've got tons of experience re: guys who start juicing and the before/after difference. So what do I see in Zac Efron's case? 1) He's bigger AND leaner, which is possible... but hard to do. 2) He was a pipsqueak to start with, so not the greatest genetics. 3) Disproportionate gains on shoulders and chest common appearance with anabolic use. $) Looks like he's gaoined a fair bit of body hair, which is another common side effect. Here's the link to the before/after pic,.... www.celeb-tips.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/maxresdefault-1024x576.jpg You can check and make up your own mind.

Back when I first started working out I went from 169 lbs with 14% body fat to 181 lbs and 11% body fat in 4 short months. I did it entirely clean and I worked my fucking ass off. It pissed me off and at the same time gave me a sense of pride when "know it alls" claimed I had to be on steroids because nobody could do that clean. Well fuckers I did. What Jeff says about the unjustfied accusations of steroids discrediting the hard work is true. I hated the fact anyone thought I cheated and at the same time I realized I must look pretty fucking good for guys to think that. There's no reason to automatically assume Zac Effron used steroids because 1. he's not that big and 2 I've been there done that. It's called hard work and discipline. Something most guys who scream steroids know nothing about.

Steroids help gain lean muscles, burn fat, look ripped. Like everybody like... Have you ever tried training? Naturally, I mean. It's a nightmare. You gain muscles - you gain fat too. You are trying to get rid of fat, your muscles melt down also... Try to train for yourself and you will understand everything.

Went home for the Holidays and people thought I was on steroids. It's not a miracle. Consistency and discipline is key along with high doses of testosterone in a 20-25 year old male body does wonders. Now in my 40s, same workout much less testosterone, strong but more flab, much less ripped. Work hard, do your best.

***** Well if that's the case, then perhaps the people who have more important things to take care of, shouldn't bother with reaching that level of fitness because it's not exactly realistic for them. I was primarily talking to the individuals who do have some time throughout their day to exercise, like the individual that commented in the first place saying "Focus on your SUBS". Which by the way tells me that he does workout, but for some reason tosses everything out the window when he/she looks at a celebrity with an impressive physique lol. People should try to learn something positive from these transformations, instead of negating their physique just because they have more sources, which again isn't a very big deal if you don't have a certain timeline. As far as nutrition goes, individuals can make a little bit more of an effort to improve that. It's not about rich vs poor in healthy eating. I've studied Nutrition in college, and can tell you that my classmates have conducted research on whether or not its expensive to eat healthy. They concluded that it in fact isn't expensive to make healthier options. Albeit, this is just one study that i'm aware of, but i'm sure there are others out there. Sorry if this is too long haha.

I did compete in natural bodybuilding and still and always train naturally. This guy looks totally legit. I've seen people take PED, and the look is so different. He's is very knowledgeable and trains so correctly. Nutrition, he is so on the money. Hate if you want to hate but if you want to grow....LISTEN, WATCH and LEARN!

+mralex070 He actually talked about it in an interview. He hasn't touched roids since he was 18/19 in high school. If you follow his ig you'll see the hours and work he puts in. He wakes up at 4am and I think he trains twice a day too. And he's been training for 20+ years. Do the math. He just trains consistently and intensely. Obviously partnered with great genetics.

He said Zac Efron was not bulking and cutting? Not what I heard. I read a little piece on what he was doing in his final cutting phase. I tried it, and lets just say if you can stick to it, it flat out WORKS!
"9 days of absolutely zero carbs & sugar. Only organic grass fed/free range protein and organic leafy greens." "This leads to that hard shredded look."

I feel like Jeff is downplaying this a bit in order to sell his program / meal plan. Zac doesn't look natty to me, not in that amount of time.

    • @Hoopfan83
      @Hoopfan83 8 лет назад +3

he definitely looks natty. he is not big at all. looks like he started lifting heavier and kept his diet real clean with a fatty breakfast followed by lower carbs and high proforma intake through out the day. if he was on gear he would be much much bigger in just a few months. he has been working hard for a year and had a good starting point. not at all surprised to see this change in his physique.

    • @DrewLSsix

You don't think that if someone handed you several tens of millions of dollars to add ten pounds of muscle mass on a year you could pull it off?
Coaching alone makes that very possible, while most of us stumble around trying to find our way and work through doubt and incomplete knowledge someone with a coach can apply every bit of energy to the task and rely on someone else to make judgement calls concerning when enough is enough or when a break is in order.
An individual is always at a disadvantage because our perspective on progress risk and reward is constantly changing. With a coach and a good working relationship you can typically go further faster than you can alone.
I have no doubt that I could meet my goals within a year with dedicated coaching and the funds to back it up, but I don't so my course requires a steady approach hat allows for my own limitations.

The most informative video from Athlean-X so far (that I've stumbled upon). It basically contains all the "hidden" info I've been looking for in other of your vids but I couldn't quite make some things out. Split type, abs and agility info being. Who would have guessed it, under this title!
