There's only one thing that's necessary to ask God for,, @100huntley, and that's "bring upon me the consequences for the life I have lived and given me the willingness to accept Thy Will for the life I've lived" because that is what God's going to do anyway.
Every heart knows its own sorrow. Now comes a prayer of complete surrender using caps as emphasis to encourage the disheartened and help the weak to carry on this journey with SWEET JESUS AT THE WHEEL because our contract with survival is brokered with sadness, fragility and anxiety.
On a balcony of space STEPPED A PURE AND HOLY GOD. IN AWESOME SOLITUDE YOU STOOD ALONE. Not one faint star to give YOU light; just endless darkness, it was blackest night. But somehow in the darkness YOU COULD SEE.
YOU SAW mountains high and lofty, YOU SAW valleys lush and green. YOU SAW babbling brooks, and wildflowers grow, YOU EVEN HEARD a robin sing. Then through YOUR COMPASSION STANDING OUT THERE IN YOUR TOMORROW, YOU SAW forum's visitors, their families and friends. 🥰
YOU SAW them as sinners (missing the mark resulting in their weaknesses prevailing causing guilt of wrong doing) because there is no intrinsic righteousness in any of us due to Adam’s sin. YOU SAW them as they grew from a baby into adulthood due to YOUR HANDS OF MERCY. 🥰 YOU SAW them pursuing a career path for the purpose of obtaining the gains of the world not realizing that it is a loss compared to what YOU DID on the cross. YOU SAW them working long and laboring hard to receive the grace by justification even though YOU stated, "This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."(John 6:29 KJV) YOU SAW the unwillingness to accept YOUR PLAN OF SALVATION THROUGH YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST. YOU SAW them living with the guilt of committing crimes to the heart. YOU SAW them enduring personal crisis. YOU SAW the weight of the burden on their hearts with each tribulation. YOU SAW them seeking comfort from the above mentioned topography, ONE OF THE MANY MARVELS YOUR PERFECT HANDS HAVE MADE. 👏👏👏 YOU SAW their worries about tomorrow.
If their hearts were a window that they could look through, oh the pains and scars they would see. What a cruel fate the skin gives as a mask to the inward pain. But the skin couldn’t cover THE SUFFERING YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON BORED on the cross as PAYMENT for all our sins because HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE HAD THE MERIT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR HOLINESS. Indeed, ONLY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS SUFFICIENT TO SAVE us from this present evil world as evidenced by Mary's song of praise. "And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour." (Luke 1:46-47 KJV) Awesome thanks to YOUR GREAT PARDON for being easy on the heart. 🥰
They have seen a lot of crazy things done in YOUR NAME. For example, the father of lies futile attempts to make crooked the right ways of the LORD to turn people away from faith in the WORKS OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE. How can anyone bear the thought of his or her life story detracting from the GLORY AND HONOR KNOWN TO BELONG TO CHRIST ALONE? As a consequence, YOU ARE A MYSTERY OF GREAT MYSTERY to them. Despite this conviction, YOU ARE MINDFUL of them as evidenced by the fact that YOUR JUDGEMENT is not speedy, allowing them to pursue the desires of the flesh.
They are aware of hypocrisy in religious assemblies that like to be seen and heard. In addition, secular education teaches that there is no right and wrong, if GOD exists there is no way of relating to HIM, and moral standards shift according to the whims of fashion. Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seek to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take.
Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movies, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them defeat in their minds what is false in YOUR EYES.
LORD GUIDE their thoughts to know that the path of sin is hard on their hearts for the purpose of crying out to YOU to know the joy, peace of having the heavy burden LIFTED by THE GOD OF PEACE I AM, and ANCHOR their souls in THE HAVEN OF REST. In other words, LORD use the storms in their lives to get a hold of them to trust YOU and believe. In truth, YOU ARE THE JOY that seekest them through pain.
LORD HELP their fainting hearts to believe that YOU, who was slain on the cross over 2000 years ago has the POWER TO CHANGE lives today through the INSTANTANEOUS GREAT FAVOR from GOD to the house of Israel made known in believers by YOU to make YOUR NAME EVERLASTING. 🥰 For as the statue liberates the citizens so the cross liberates the soul. ONLY YOU can calm the trouble waters of the mind when one admits to wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, JESUS IS LORD, and believes in the heart that GOD RAISED HIM from the dead TO LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt away from the heart in accordance to YOUR WORD found in Psalm 51:1-10 KJV. 👏👏👏👏👏👏 O, the wonder of it all to experience within the flesh the feeling of a tree being cut back/pruned in order for it to grow stronger and more beautiful after meditating on the words of said Psalm. 🥰🙌
LORD MAKE them know that ONLY YOUR HOLY SPIRIT, through the experience of a new birth within believers, can prevent the family circle from being broken because THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE YOU HAVE GRANTED means a chapter of their lives is decided. Creation sings the rebirth song for them yearly, through YOUR PROMISE of springtime, giving rise to the idea that by the mention of YOUR NAME flowers grow, and the desert blooms again. 🥰
LORD GUIDE their understanding of words to use to come into YOUR PRESENCE with an honest reverence of WHO YOU ARE to experience the beauty that time can't erase YOUR WISDOM resting on their faces. LORD STRENGTHEN their determination to never waiver in efforts to search for YOU because the wages of sin is too high for anyone to pay. Additionally, THE KING OF KINGS is needed in their hearts to learn how to expand their capacity to love for YOU are LOVE in any language. 🥰 Once they learn to speak it with boldness through YOUR WONDERFUL COUNSELING all the world will hear, and know that LOVE is the language of their hearts. So LORD, KEEP KNOCKING on their door until they let YOU in to know hardships and struggles will end with a GREAT CELEBRATION WITH YOU. 🥰🙌
If one believes faith cannot be forced, YOU WILL GIVE that individual over to the stubborn heart to follow own counsel which will surely fail him or her to the extent that the punishment will last forever found in Psalms 81 NIV. Given this, I pray that YOU WILL MAKE that person see that this feeling is wasted for a world in which we become strangers as we age, gives us thrills instead of peace, aims to solve a problem but creates another, and unrest surges with each passing generation. Shed some light into their broken hearts for YOU ARE THE GREAT JEHOVAH, THE GOD THAT HEALETH thee.
Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life), I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh.
O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. Many thanks LORD for speaking TRUTH in our lives TO BLESS those who are not offended by THEE. LET YOUR WILL BE DONE because YOUR LOVE ALONE CONQUERS everything by WAITING for them to cease struggling, and finally surrender to YOUR EMBRACE to learn about YOUR LOVE AND PROMISE TO TAKE CARE of your children exquisitely. 🥰 Since... "at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore"... (Psalms 16:11 KJV), and the nail print for them to know YOU by answering the following question. How did CHRIST LOVE people into a relationship with HIM? 🥰

Fear and pain is real when your hungry and cold ...Why is everything a mind game ?
I have lost count of the amount of times I have given 'it' to God...only to take it back again and again and again. Life happens and for many of us it's hard and it's not fair and you can't understand it.
Everyone has a story. But what I have learned in these 64 years of my life is that I can't do it without Him. I can't. I've tried. He takes me back every time. He doesn't need my help. He's got me. He's got you too. It just may not seem like it now, but HE'S GOT YOU! I remind myself of that every day. He's not going anywhere. He's got you. Some days all you can do is put one foot in front of the other, and that's ok. He's got you. Give 'it' to Him and don't take it back.

That's what will help . The truth. He said he will not forsake you or leave you. Trust and believe. David Jeremiah's teaching is truth. Stay away from most of the t.v. preaching. He speaks the truth.
What about what Jesus did for us! He suffered horrible. Thank you Jesus for loving us. Me and my Husband have been thru so much in last two years,but we are still praising God. Keep your faith God will help you I promise.
I "trusted" God and lost everything. Several times in my life. I stepped out in faith, trusted God, did my best to believe I was being led by Him, and everything ended in disaster, both financially and emotionally. My health plunged down hill. I compared my cituation to Job, as many people do. Decades later, I am still sure of my salvation, but my earthly abundant life has been shaken to the core. It's no wonder so many people fall in weakness to the creature comforts that take care of us in our "developed" society. Many people don't get it and it is a horribly hard walk to stay faithful when walking in so much pain and suffrage for decades.
I feel the same way. 68 and starting over again after a flood, partners death, dog died, got COVID 5 times, 5 heart attacks, shingles, loss of son all in 11 months. I did tell Jesus I needed a season of peace and I did get that. But the house is still falling apart. I don't get it either. I've been walking in faith for 59 years. It does get hard.

@MD when I speak of abundant life here, I'm not talking about riches and fleshly extravagant living. I'm talking about normal social standing in America. A house, a vehicle, a job, enough to pay modest bills and eat frugally. I have never been a perfect steward, but I have never squandered either. Just saying.
Take this world but give me Jesus!
We walk by faith not by sight.
It's like Job said "The LORD giveth and the LORD taketh away. Blessed be the LORD."

Brilliant! My favourite psalm. As young children I would say Ps 37:3 to them as I said goodnight and they still know it today… I am expecting great fruit in their lives from this verse and all His promises actually! Thank you for this great interview

This prayer of calling on the Lord Jesus ( Rom.10:14 ) tells you what to believe to go to heaven : Lord Jesus, I repent; I admit I'm a sinner and I am truly sorry. I do not trust in my own works to go to heaven because I realize, being a sinner, I cannot offer the perfect blood sacrifice that you require to pay for sin. Instead, I now fully trust, believing in my heart, that your finished work on the cross, your perfect blood sacrifice, when you bled, suffered and died, in my place, paid for my sins in full, past, present and future. And I believe that you rose from the dead and that you are God Almighty, God the Son, alive for evermore !!! And so I fully trust that you will forgive me now by cleansing me from all sin in your precious blood, which purifies my soul. So many Christians have no idea that is exactly what is happening, that's what's coming. Which means Jesus's coming for us to meet Him in the air, like He promised, is even sooner then that.

I have believer friends, who get so irritated when I tell them all these things, including what you just mentioned. I tell them ,it's the same Jesus who's testimony is in the book of Revelation, as the Jesus in all the other books of the Bible. Why get so upset, about end time information?!? Some are even pastors of churches! They think I'm focusing on something negative, I'm interested in bad news..etc.
They say they don't care what's going to happen.
I was saved in 1985. and even back then we were so interested in Bible Prophecy, and trying to figure out how everything is going to go down. Now..we are at the end, the Tribulation is about to start, and believers are asleep. Mind-boggling.
They think it's conspiracy theories. They should at least ask the Lord why he wrote all the prophetic books, and why should they care.
Anyway, still when that trumpet sounds and Jesus calls us, they will be very surprised, because they didn't watch and wait for his coming.

I see in the comments that many people have spoken that they have suffered all their life even after surrendering everything to god. I completely understand you. But there are many reasons and possibilities for these sufferings. Number one, the Lord allows us sometimes to partake in his suffering. It helps us to better understand what he has gone through and goes through every day as he watches Fallen Humanity continually turn away from him. Number two oftentimes there are things in our ancestral bloodline that are keeping us from being blessed and getting free from the curses that are on our generations. God has been faithful to show me as I pursue him for answers some things that I needed to repent of in my own life and on behalf of my ancestors who came before me that may have open doors to cyclical curses upon the generations etc. Always press into god. There is a harvest coming for all of us. And those who sow seeds of suffering will reap their harvest. I don't think we'll see it fully until we're in eternity but remember life here is but a vapor compared to Eternity. Blessings are there we just have to thank him everyday. Especially living here in the west we are spoiled rotten. Every time I'm tired and achy and I take a hot shower I thank God for the hot water. Because many people don't have that luxury. Just an example. Blessings to all...

It is as if Satan has invaded their hearts. This has been the most heartbreaking event in my life. It sure tests your faith.

Two me, you only require two principles: trust God and, recession or not, always, always, always be a good steward over what he blesses you with financially. You will be glad that you were. I speak from personal experience.
For example, I received a large salary increase recently. Most people would take that extra money and buy this and that. To me, that means more money that I can save and do😉 Be a good steward, brethren!

Jesus revised the Old Testament idea that fearing God is a virtue.

God does not punish. We punish ourselves as Jesus showed in the parable of the prodigal son. God is not a puppeteer controlling our world that we should fear him.

Lukewarmness and self righteousness is sin and sin equals consequence. Alot of proclaiming Christians justify the 7 sins in the bible which has consequences. Die to self and be made whole through Holy spirit. The Israelites spent 40 years in the desert in pursuit of the God's kingdom.. God takes care of his people.
What i do not hear here are the words of Christ. He said, there will be trouble, suffering and even martys. The Sermon on the Mount is for blessing to be distributed on the suffering and martyers who remain faithful to Jesus in the New Covanant. The New Covenant added the fruits of the Spirit to us as belevers. But Everhing that Christ suffered ened to end, good or bad becomes us, as One in Christ. This Father has shown to me. Everything will not be hunkydorry on the outside or for us in this world. What is being spoken of is a spiritual victory He has shown me in dreams because my life He has called long suffering. And it freaking angered God what was done to me by so called Christians and demon. He showed me a bolt of light with His anger in it that was not directed at me but those who literally tried to kill me and robbed me of everything.
Those Old Testament words were intened for Israel and they do in many ways apply to us today. But not entirely dear children. This is a good man with much knowledge but he misses the point of Christ. In Christ we are little christ's, His prototype. While Christ took the sin from us and gave us new life and part of His power we still face an unseen enemy of multitude demons who know us well. They watch for ways to pull us away from Father who Jesus reconciled us with. The demons are on the alert and can really foul our physical lives up. But everything destroyed on earth for us does not mean defeat in the spiritual world where He showed how much i earned as everything around me burned down. Wow! I thought i had lost lol. Not true for me or you my friends. Do not discount loss and suffering. The last in this life who honor God regardless of outcome, shall be first in Heaven. 🌹

Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24.
