I was able to do all the steps up until Keep my files. When I clic on Keep my files the screen went dark and I heard the computer running but had no image. Could not see if process was running to continue process. Any ideas?

I had it like this: some black window appeared when I launched my computer saying "there is an available update" I skipped it for a long time but it was always there when I turned my computer on and one day(today) I thought "ah, ok, let's have this update" and I got this...

Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options > PIN (Windows Hello) and change your PIN. Restart your PC to solve the issue.
