Thank you for stopping by my home town Gulfport…. That place is awesome!!! There’s a lot of neat places on the Mississippi gulf coast.. just remember that barqs root beer is made in Biloxi
I guess pigeons need some beach time too!😂❤ I'm heading south tomorrow, so I hope things are warming up. Thanks to you and Jen, I will be stopping at Buckees for sure!
First time, long time. Love your channel. I grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It was nearly destroyed by Hurricane Katrina and it’s so interesting to see it nearly 20 years later.
@@TheCarpetbagger yeah, along Hwy 90 in Pass Christian, Long Beach, and Gulfport especially. There are still several empty lots that once had 19th century antebellum homes that are now just slabs mostly overgrown with tall grass. The Sharkhead's you went to was totally destroyed, and right next to it used to be a huge beach arcade with a goofy golf and several restaurants, all washed away into the gulf. Most of those spots are just open slabs. I've been here since 1974 and a lot of it has changed.
Thanks for another interesting video. I am a model railroad operator and always like seeing these big train displays. This one has many different types and scales of trains. It was interesting that it even featured an outdoor train you could ride.
Glad to see you enjoyed Biloxi Mississippi. My dad's twin brother and family live there. The Shed is the place to go for wonderful food. The Train museum was very neat to see. Thanks for the adventure. Be safe 💗
I know you're trying to avoid the cold, but if you wanted to make your way to Massachusetts, there's a HUGE train show coming up January 27 and 28. Probably the largest train show in the US. More layouts than you can shake a stick at. But in the Mississippi area see if you can make it to Leland, theres a Jim Henson museum there.
26 miles of it right along Hwy 90. It's one reason why I won't move from here. During the summer it's very relaxing to just drive the whole thing with the windows down and the sea breeze in my face. 😁
The TrainTasic museum was cool and all, but what utterly fascinated me were the miniature buildings. Ever since I was a very little kid, I have always wanted to build my own miniature town. Unfortunately I don't have the space or the finances for such an endeavor. When I win the lottery though....
I can’t believe that you crawled under that train layout to the stand up tower then to top it off the outdoor train ride! I guess to each his own, I’m glad that you had fun doing it
If you ever want to visit and see a HUGE model railroad display...there is: EnterTrainment Junction in Westchester, OH near Cincinnati, OH. Just a thought.
Kuddos to the artist who makes the spectacular train model 🔥🔥🤯 I feel like my knowledge about USA places is increasing due to this channel. I really really appreciate you Jacob 🎉
I like longer vids cuz I usually watch them multiple times anyways and each time I watch them I always notice something new. That's just me personally but def over 30mins each.
Traintastic is real gem that You never really hear about but is so fascinating and Really Awesome Museum I have Always Loved Trains. I Would Love to Get the Polar Express Train set Complete with figures and Little Boys Home and Tiny snowman. Miniatures are really Cool. Thank You Jacob for taking us to great Museum I Loved it
Loved the trains!!! Hope you stay on the gulf a bit. It’s so beautiful the further east. Hit the emerald coast. 🏖️☀️ Pensacola is home of the blue angels and the aviation museum is really a must see. Thank you again for a great video. 👏🏻
If you ever come to Florida stop off in Pensacola Florida. We have the National Naval Aviation Museum, Pensacola Beach, Fort Pickens and the Pensacola lighthouse. Also downtown Pensacola is great.
Wow that is an amazing collection of model trains 🚂 🌟 💖 My favorite part of this video is when You got " eaten" by the shark though 🙀🦈😹 I love that You always do the photo ops 💗 I also love it when You try out the snow globes and have fun in stores ❄️🔮💗 I haven't been to the Gulf of Mexico yet but I hope to someday 🌊 I am glad that You are headed to better weather 🌞 How about New Orleans 🎉🎶💃🕺 As always, Thank You for bringing Us along with You Jacob 🙏💝😻
This was a fantastic video I loved the train museum it was so cool I loved the Kinect roller coaster that was amazing and looking at the future set was also amazing to see I love these road trips I'm learning a lot and seeing new and wonderful things.
What a sweet train museum and I love the name xD it reminds me of the Miniatur Wunderland Museum in Hamburg , Germany . ❤ always a pleasure to see those little city's 😊
Ive spent many hours at the shed bbq, my dads band played there all the time. so i would become very familiar with every piece of decor as they played their set
Hey Jacob! My wife and I have been watching your videos for a few years now. We found you when you were collaborating with Adam on some of his stuff way back. Anyhow we live in Ocean Springs so it was pretty cool to watch you explore my stomping ground. We haven't been to Barry's in a few years, but that was some good food. Don't know how much longer you were gonna stay down here but hope you enjoy the rest of your trip. You just missed 7 degree temps here along the coast on Tuesday. All of the roads and bridges were iced over from the rain. So you made it here just at the right time. We're gonna have another hard freeze by Saturday night. If you haven't been there yet you should take a little bit of time and visit the USS ALABAMA Battleship just on the other side of the Tunnel on I-10 in Mobile. Also in that same area is a gigantic AIRBUS museum at the airport in downtown Mobile by the tunnel. Airbus is manufactured right there. Those are two great things to hit on your way into Florida.
Welcome to my neck of the woods! Ive been to the model train museum at their old location, but not this one. The Shed is one of biggest tourist traps we have down here. The food is mediocre at best and the owner is not a very good person.
I’m so glad you found someplace that doesn’t have snow or ice. Stay safe and warm out there.
Yes! You went to the Train museum! This is so cool. Nice to have you close by finally. Thank you
Thank you for stopping by my home town Gulfport…. That place is awesome!!! There’s a lot of neat places on the Mississippi gulf coast.. just remember that barqs root beer is made in Biloxi

I'm heading south tomorrow, so I hope things are warming up. Thanks to you and Jen, I will be stopping at Buckees for sure!
