The Nissan you were wondering about was called a NIssan Pulsar ('80s) in the US. The back section was interchangable and you could put on the station wagon looking rear as seen in the video or a version that looked more like a trunk deck.

That Red Car you did not know was actually sold her in USA as Pulsar NX Sportbak. You could convert from sedan to wagon. They were awesome. The rare of the rare breed are the T Top ones.

Damn I was there from 2010-2013 and when we would roll in to daikokufuto it was only us as english speakers. This makes me so happy seeing how the community has grown and thrived. Then we would droll to the docks to go drifting. Man I miss those times.

its a more fancy "Rest Stop" In California its just a small pocket on the freeway for restrooms and barely any vending machines. Some stops are along site seeing locations along the coast that are a little better than the others inland.

E_Ought the red T-Top is a Nissan Pulsar, my mom had a red one just like it, except it had a hatch. Those things were super sick back in the day although hers was right hand drive in the states. I still have the key to it. Sure it’s completely rusted out by now.
Oh, that 'Nissan Exa' is what we had in the US as a 'Pulsar NX.' It was kind of a novelty car with the interchangeable hatchbacks, you could have the squareback one or a plain notchback shaped one that I thought was pretty pointless cause it didn't even look cool, (I guess it just looked less weird and was lighter, probably, but they would have benefitted from a bit more of a sporty look.) They were only around a couple years in the 80's, that I recall, presumably we didn't get the cooler engines here in the US.

16:05 In the United State, there were called Nissan Pulsar and there were called the Nissan EXA in Japan. I had 1987 Nissan Pulsar NX in the USA. The rear is interchangeable from Hatchback to Canopy I had the Hatchback on mine with the T-Tops in Red color with Black interior back in the early/mid 90's.There getting harder to find here in the USA.
