Thank you for watching my first gingerbread house! There are a couple of popular questions that I have been getting that I wanted to share with all of you!
Wow! It's refreshing to see a gingerbread house video that actually shows how much planning went into it. Like, this didn't magically turn out fine - you worked hard for it!
WOW. The planning. The execution. The skill. The TIME. Hats off, this is incredible. 😍
This is absolutely GORGEOUS! Well done! I think the 4 people who “disliked” this need some hugs.
This was unbelievable! I was exhausted just watching. What a job!
Now this what I call a gingerbread house. Details details details great job!!
This turned out amazingggg! One note I have though from other peoples homemade gingerbread houses. when you first are making the pieces you just score the outlines and then when they first come out of the oven and they are nice and soft, you cut them out entirely. This prevents the edges from burning.
I am mesmerazed with your dedication to add different textures of snow to this house. And the details in the christmas tree are so top!! I'm so glad I found this video!
Nicely done- well-planned and designed with an aesthetic that honors the material. Pretty but retains a sense of gingerbread, not all polished where it looks like ceramic. Many years ago, I made gingerbread houses for weeks during the holidays to sell at small regional shops. I must have made over 200 in those five years. Two things for anyone wanting to do their own. First, I used dry caramel to assemble the major pieces (dry caramel is simply melted white sugar). Unlike royal icing, it sets almost immediately so that things do not need to be buttressed. It takes a little practice, but so worth it. Second, color the royal icing brown to match the gingerbread for areas that might show and are not part of a snow detail. Much less glaring.
This is stunning. Wonderful work. This will go into my list of Christmas video content to watch during December every year.
Wow,too beautiful to eat,a lot of patience was needed to make this, well done,
I just have to say I love how u showed every part of the process- even the messy bits! It's so encouraging to see an expert baker that still spills sugar and makes a mess sometimes! (btw it turned out amazing!!)
I get so much satisfaction watching cookie/ house decorating. This is sculpture work!
I came for this awesome gingerbread house but stayed (subscribed) for the details. This was not the usual four walls and I appreciate every minute of it! THANK YOU❤️❤️❤️
Ha! And I can't even make four walls and a roof stay together. Great work!
I watched this whole thing amazed by your dedication and skill, then came down to the comments and was FLABBERGASTED when I saw that your subscribers were not in the millions yet! This is incredible!
Amazing! I love everything in this video! Thank you for sharing this wonderful process with us!
