Quite remarkable the manifold got loose. Go to the garage to get one loose and you will struggle .... so having a spirited drive seems to be a solution ;-) Keep the content coming !
Missed the videos lad unfortunately I know too well the pain. My TFs clutch went just on the home stretch from a Scotland trip. Not been on the road in it since that trip 😢
Interesting video! Just started looking at buying a small 2 seater (midlife crisis 😂), unfortunately I passed my test in an automatic, do you know if automatic tf are any good, not seen many when searching for them.
I’ve never driven the automatic so don’t know for certain, but I know some people that have had the stepspeed for years so obviously get on okay with it! I think there were fewer made although don’t quote me on that
One question... That MG wich motor has?? i was told that where Lotus motors... is that true?? i own a Rover 75. year 2000 and it has a Land Rover freelander motor 6 cilinder...
A very good question which I have asked myself many times. I have a suspicion that it perhaps was loosened at the garage to do other work and then not retightened but I will never know!
verry lucky, your car could have gone up in flames real easy. without a manifold you get verry hot blue flames comming out of the outlet , this could easely start a verry nasty fire, impossible to kill once you have noticed,.
Bought a TF a few weeks ago and found your channel, thought you had stopped uploading but this is a nice surprise! Do you still have an insta we can follow?

Good on ya mate! Working outside in the dark and rain. Thats dedication. The back of my legs are aching just watching 😀
You should make some more TF videos.
Hope all well with you and the car .
Any 10 minute job is only one seized bolt away from a 4 day saga
Very true! 😫😂
Looking well mate

Hope you get it sorted soon mate! 😢
Great vid again. Do you not have the exhaust heat shield? I see there’s the brackets for it.
Thanks! Yes I do have the heat shield, which I refitted after but just didn’t film. It was also partly broken when the manifold detached!

Yes it uses a K series motor much like the Lotus Elise!
This does beg the question how the hell did the manifold detach itself!

No more videot???
There will be more 😁👍🏻
@@CarsWithWillo you should make a video how to fit the wind deflector on it .
I just ordered mine and can’t find a video that shows how to fit it .
Interesting, I may do!

Yeah you’re right, it could have got pretty ugly! 😬
