Today I'm going to show you how to install Windows on a Chromebook. Perhaps you've gotten a Chromebook for Christmas and want to run some other apps on it, or you want a UEFI based OS like Windows, macOS, or Linux. I did this to an old Chromebook I had 2 years ago. I bought it used for just shy under $100 and destroyed it within 2 weeks. The only issue I had was that I couldn’t get the audio to work. Other than that, I’m tempted to get another, but I’m scared cause I might smash it again 😂 I’d like to add, there was another issue encodes the audio, the laptop would randomly shut down (very annoying).

I'm not getting any sound after downloading Windows. I tried downloading multiple drivers for the chromebook but nothing's worked. I have a Dell Chromebook 11 btw ( I noticed that there's different Versions of this Dell chromebook but I don't know exactly which one I have, so I tried every option in the link you have in your description). Same thing happened with the touchpad, not working. Kinda need some help

On linux you will have a funcioning touchpad and mabey speakers, but I don't think anyone has created drivers for chromebooks to work with windows.

Same steps, but before you do everything, go to the login screen, press ctrl+alt+shift+r and a popup should come saying "powerwash" press that and it'll factory reset the chromebook

It means your Chromebook is using some peripherals not in the list of driver inf files in your windows 10 iso file
