Love the sound of these old-school slot machines so much. Is it just me, or did every slot machine manufacturer used to use these sounds a long time ago? I'm new to understanding how slot machines work, especially the sound design
Even though I stayed at the Bellagio, I stopped by NYNY literally one month ago for old times sake (May 26th, 2024). This was the hotel I stayed at during my first Vegas trip in 1997. And I wanna say this was the same year NYNY first opened as well. Lots of memories and the pizza's still good.
I loved the 5 reel machine with the great music. It really helped with my anxiety over those machines. Thank you for the video and showing me that strange Ninja Stars!
Funny how even today's jumbo slots pale in comparison to the gargantuan ones that you see in Vegas videos from ten to fifteen years ago. I really wish more places had those! 😁 Also imagine being able to win ninja gear from that giant ninja slot. I want my Tekko Kagi so I can make believe I'm Wolverine! 😄

Ballys. I cannot remember the make however the machines I played hit a small jackpot which paid $ 1000(quarters). If you cannot locate them is because they were loose machines...a no no for the casinos.
The slot machines are the easiest games to play in a casino. Contrary to what slot player's think. (choosing the right machine) they require no thinking. Insert you money, push the botton, and reach back into your wallet for more money.

I think they were different but similar. I miss the old ones. They are disappearing 😞
