MW2019 had too many angles. Black Ops 6 has no angles. The maps are just big open bowls with sightlines where you die to headglitches. There's no flow. There are no three-lanes or four-square maps. The maps were designed by AI or just ripped from the campaign, they weren't designed for multiplayer.

Its not just the maps. Movement is so fast that any enemy can be anywhere in the map at any moment and this just kills the flow. Theres no telling the general area where enemies spawn anymore. Combine that with small maps with millions lines of sights. Probably the worst MP Black Ops.

Every single map is like a small maze. I can't learn the flow patterns, there are none. You can literally just vault or climb on any object, cross any map within 10 seconds, every match feels like free for all, I spawn closer to enemies than my teammates, forget the well thought out and tested 3 lane maps of the past, now we have random AI generated maps with 0 flow, 0 skill. It feels like they just hired someone to make a small area in a 3d rendering, and the person making it had no idea it was going to be used as a FPS map. Payback is horrible, 10 lanes on a map smaller than nuketown with a movement speed twice as fast, tight corridors with multiple lines of sight. Windows lining the exterior walls to be able to see in the entire building. Don't even get me started on subsonic. Fast movement speed, small maps, no lanes, no flow, bad spawns. There isn't a single good thing about these maps

I think steam support is aware of this and will grand you a refund. Activision does this on purpose so it's harder to refund or to discourage doing so.

We just spawn camped an entire clan in Subsonic until they all quit on hardcore hardpoint. We all had 20+ k/d and they were literally spawning knife distance to us all because we had one guy on the other side.
i wont lie, these maps are complete and absolute garbage, the sheer amount of problems it has is atrocious, from the spawn traps to the revenge spawns, even the spawns themselves are fucked.
It’s the same with the big and small maps, you die to some little timmy posted up in a building window just hard scoping melting you as you try to run and gun and do some cool movement mechanics…it’s insane. I die more to noobs than the actual players trying to play well and use the movement. It’s trash man.

I loved bo6 for the first few hours until I realised every map apart from maybe one or two were actually enjoyable and had some flow and tactic to it. And its just scud, payback, babylon, on REPEAT. To revive it they COULD look at the map voting data for the previous BLOPs and remake the 5 most popular as free DLCs.
Not sledgehammer now they have been listening to the community since mwIII with very good content and didn’t even wanted to make mwIII and still make a decent game with all the restriction they have got in the development of the game

Most mw19 maps aren’t big ie: vacant, killhouse, scrapyard, al raab, Cheshire park, crash, gun runner, hackney yard, hardhat, khandor hideout, rammaza, sudal harbor, talsik backlot etc. And the actual big ones were mostly only for 10v10. Must’ve been that popular of a game that y’all are still bringing it up 5 years later oh so inaccurately. Most people played snd actually and these maps played well for it since they were all quite literally three lane simple maps with not too much clutter. Even the bigger ones
I played the multiplayer for the first time today and dude, I’ll have a match where I’m dominating lobbies and then the next I play against the sweatiest player that have been playing since this game came out and haven’t taken a shower yet. The maps in BO6 are mid in my opinion.

They're not going to remove any of the crappy maps so lets just hope Standoff, raid, nuke town, express etc etc come sooner rather than later. Lol hadn't even tried BO6 multiplayer. As soon as I heard the release maps were all small maps I said forget it. Sounds like it's even worse than I thought. This is where CODs been heading though for awhile. They're ignoring part of their fan base by taking out big team battle on larger maps. It was optional and took the hyper out of the game. I preferred it in every way. If anything, you had variety of maps and play play styles. And Groundwar is NOT a replacement. It's a scrambled mess. I guess it's easier to throw together a half dozen half baked small maps without a thought process and call it good.
Not buying it either. One of the greatest lessons I learned was to just leave sucky lobbies! As a team of 3 it would kill the lobby every time. When Activision did their SBMM explanation they admitted that people quitting lobbies disrupts the servers. So that was the best advice I ever got. Shit lobbies, shit connections, shit servers, shitty cheaters, LEAVE THE GAME! It ruins it for all and then they might truly eliminate cheaters and upgrade the servers.
These are the worst Treyarch maps ever, some of them are so big you run laps around the entire map for 5 minutes without seeing anyone.these feels more like infinity ward maps.

Zombies is ok. Good thing these HUD Options are present so I don't have a shit ton of things on the screen. What kills it a bit for me, is there's no separate level system like Bo3. (Zombies level, MP level). Warzone meleeing and doesn't let me lock on to melee hit them. Lags too. Apparently you can't play zombies offline, but I haven't tried that to see for myself

I loved bo6 for the first few hours until I realised every map apart from maybe one or two were actually enjoyable and had some flow and tactic to it. And its just scud, payback, babylon, on REPEAT.
To revive it they COULD look at the map voting data for the previous BLOPs and remake the 5 most popular as free DLCs.
Treyarch was the last good dev team ever...now every single one of these devs teams SUCK ASS!

Cold War remains the closest arcade-feeling cod we had since BO3.

Most mw19 maps aren’t big ie: vacant, killhouse, scrapyard, al raab, Cheshire park, crash, gun runner, hackney yard, hardhat, khandor hideout, rammaza, sudal harbor, talsik backlot etc. And the actual big ones were mostly only for 10v10. Must’ve been that popular of a game that y’all are still bringing it up 5 years later oh so inaccurately. Most people played snd actually and these maps played well for it since they were all quite literally three lane simple maps with not too much clutter. Even the bigger ones
I played the multiplayer for the first time today and dude, I’ll have a match where I’m dominating lobbies and then the next I play against the sweatiest player that have been playing since this game came out and haven’t taken a shower yet. The maps in BO6 are mid in my opinion.

It’s called skill based matchmaking. You dominate in a lobby with lvl 1s you will be put against higher level layers. Takes around 10 games to get accurate skill based matchmaking
Yeah, i notice that as well. I have built my own anti tryhard clas for the sweats, if people are chill one round i go with my fun grind, but if not i just use the XM4 with 100 round mag and max attachments. That shuts them up straight away lol.

It is such a shame honestly. The connection, maps and SBMM / EOMM garbage ruin what could've been a turning point for the franchise.
They're not going to remove any of the crappy maps so lets just hope Standoff, raid, nuke town, express etc etc come sooner rather than later. I mean Moscow from Cold War would also be amazing, I think that's an all time great map imo.

Maps have no thought and no flow. Switched back to XD on launch day. I would rather play a broken video game than a game systematically rigged against me.

Lets be real, the complaint here isn't some of the maps are bad its that they are bad for a certain game type. I play solo but I stick to TDM Kill Confirm I don't really like OBJ game types.

Lol hadn't even tried BO6 multiplayer. As soon as I heard the release maps were all small maps I said forget it. Sounds like it's even worse than I thought. This is where CODs been heading though for awhile. They're ignoring part of their fan base by taking out big team battle on larger maps. It was optional and took the hyper out of the game. I preferred it in every way. If anything, you had variety of maps and play play styles. And Groundwar is NOT a replacement. It's a scrambled mess. I guess it's easier to throw together a half dozen half baked small maps without a thought process and call it good.
Not buying it either. One of the greatest lessons I learned was to just leave sucky lobbies! As a team of 3 it would kill the lobby every time. When Activision did their SBMM explanation they admitted that people quitting lobbies disrupts the servers. So that was the best advice I ever got. Shit lobbies, shit connections, shit servers, shitty cheaters, LEAVE THE GAME! It ruins it for all and then they might truly eliminate cheaters and upgrade the servers.
These are the worst Treyarch maps ever, some of them are so big you run laps around the entire map for 5 minutes without seeing anyone.these feels more like infinity ward maps.

Zombies is ok. Good thing these HUD Options are present so I don't have a shit ton of things on the screen. What kills it a bit for me, is there's no separate level system like Bo3. (Zombies level, MP level). Warzone meleeing and doesn't let me lock on to melee hit them. Lags too. Apparently you can't play zombies offline, but I haven't tried that to see for myself
Cod4 will forever have the best map rotation. Overgrown, showdown, broadcast, bog, crossfire, vacant, crash. I’m missing some but seriously SO GOATED.

Zombies doesnt seem to be too bad but its way too easy imo and does not need tips holding your hand the whole way through and being able to save/load kind of eliminates the whole point of round based zombies imo
