Mr. Falkone, good work! My fav parts were your driving (😂😂😂), the food looked awesome, the "treasure" and the treasure hunt tht ensued, the tortoises mating and of course you swimming like a dolphin there at the end hahaha

Ja, haette ich mir auch beihnahe fuer Maerz dieses Jahr ausgesucht, habe mich aber spontan umentschieden.
Hi, ich könnte immer wieder weinen, wenn ich sehe wie sich alles auf La Digue verändert, aber das ist auch die Zeit. Ich fahre mit meiner Familie über Ostern dort hin, war bis jetzt schon 8 mal da, Seychellen sind unschlagbar, da kommt nichts gegen an, es bedeutet mit einfach etwas ganz natürliches und persönliches. Ich war 2014 Sep. auf den Malediven, war schön und auch alles super, aber nicht besser !!! Lg
Hallo! Ich Weiss leider nicht wie es auf La Digue vorher war, aber ich finde dass es etwas rustikaler zugeht es als sein sollte. Gerade einige Seitenstrassen des Staedtchens haben einen doch sehr hinterhoeflichen Charme, der nicht durchweg von Sauberkeit zeugt. Die Straende sind aber toll. Auf den Malediven war ich selber noch nicht, waere aber sicher eine Reise wert. Liebe Gruesse und danke fuer den Kommentar.
I'm curious: how much does a coco de mer cost? You've made Seychelles look quite lovely - stop making me want vacations I cannot afford right now :) Seriously, though, I must commend your camerawork - really great off-centre stuff.
Thank you very much! Glad you like it. Well there are ways to lodge in Seychelles on a lower budget, it just needs a bit of research. The shown hotel we stayed at offered very fair rates. The Coco De Mer....well I did not ask for the price to be honest, but I heard rumors you would have to spend around 300 USD including all necessary documents to export it so you don't end up in jail :)

I also wanted to drive, so I can see more of the sights.(fit more in) is it very expensive to drive around?
+sunnie231138 Hello. Thanks for your comment. If I remember correctly the car was around 40 USD / day. I think some of the islands don't really have rental cars available. You also have the possibility to rent taxis with driver for the whole day, but this is rather expensive. On Mahe I stayed only once, but did not exactly do much except relaxing at the beach, so I do not have a full overview of the Mahe sights. I don't think you can hire a car on La Digue, the island is very small and it is more common to hire a bike to get around, there are loads of bike rental places and they are inexpensive.
