6 years ago, a big group of my friends and I went to go to a hill and skate. I drove the car that run. When I came to the hardest turn on the hill, one of my friends was badly hurt at the bottom of a tree. I stopped the car, rushing over to him to see what I could do. He wasn’t conscious, and was slowly dying. I tried everything I could to save him, but he ended up dying in my arms. I relive that moment every minute of every day, and it brings me unfathomable pain.
This track, while reminding me of that moment, makes me feel some sense of ease about it.
