Please explain whether organizing videos into folders is intended to be only for your own private use, or can be for presenting your videos to the public if you so desire. Can I customize how the public sees my Vimeo home page at all? I despise the default "recent uploads" order of videos.
YES!!! This, please. I don't want people coming to my channel and seeing just anything I've put up. RUclips has a "featured video" and you can hide playlists (like folders), etc. How do we organize the home page of our channel for the public, Jason?
@@SueSnellLives After I wrote my comment, I eventually discovered Vimeo Help Center's article titled "Manage your Vimeo profile" , with a section on how to "Choose which videos are shown on your profile". Turns out, you can create Sections and move videos into desired positions. Apparently, folders are only for your private use. But I still think it would be nice if Jason understood what we were actually looking for when we watched this video tutorial, and create another video about selecting videos to show on your home page (a.k.a. Profile?).
Thanks for the info,..so when creating a video on Vimeo,..how do I take three of four clips and stich them together for a short dynamic video production?
Thanks, I wish you would do some more on Vimeo, I have had a Pro account for 10 years and still have no idea how to set it up properly, specially the page that I send to people which is Vimeo/ my name where all my videos are but it is a PIA to keep them organized because there is NO logic behind it, my latest videos are all the way at the bottom and I have to drag them 1 by 1 all the way to the top which is stupid.
BUT JASON… HOW TO organize videos WITHIN a folder - For example In numerical order or in the order I upload SO THAT viewers can watch in SEQUENTIAL ORDER
Jason this is great thanks. But is it possible to have a placeholder for the videos in a folder before you finish recording the video? That way they will be automatically sent to that folder before you look for them. I have a lot of accounts and it is much easier to have the vids sent to a folder when they are finished rather than look for them and manually place them in the correct folder after they are made.

Hi Robert. Unfortunately I haven’t seen this functionality.
