2:59 In the 3D spinning render, you can actually see technic axle holes on each side of the crafting table. Possibly more upscaled blocks to come in the future to connect it to?
Its definitely a cheaper way to make a Minecraft diorama. Im surprised Lego hasnt made a micro city line where they recreate entire city layouts with smaller parts.
I think this is the first 18+ set I'm excited for, and the first I will pick up! I loved the Microbuilds back in the day, and I'm bummed I never got them. I hope these come back as regular additions to the wave lineups!
itll probably look alot nicer on the shelf, the ? block while cool looking is just a giant yellow block with the cool park only being a little section at the top
@@spindinswans9091 yeah that’s probably true but I wish it was completed the back of the crafting table, even though that’s what makes it so affordable
@@CheeseyStudios idk if you noticed but on the sides there are those thingys that you use to connect the moc in your lego world. Does it mean that other blocks will come?
The crafting table has technic axel holes at the bottom on the outside. I wonder if they are planning to make more 18+ workbench sets (furnace, stone cutter, jukebox) in the future that all can be connected and show off more Minecraft biomes (nether, end, birch forest, mushroom island, etc).
Imagine if they made 4 of them ; all with 2 sides cut out, and you could connect them in a 2x2 square, take the lids off, and have a big world to look down at
if you're going to remake the baby villager using that new tile, may I suggest using a bucket handle for the crossed arms? It's a technique I saw years ago and I just think it would be neat to see again.
I wish they keep that idea for a micro scale set for other workstation/unique blocks and more precise themed areas? I could see a bigger cave set with for a Furnace or even Chest with a big micro scale village, ender chest being end, smithing table or even Respawn Anchor for Nether, ... So much cute and interesting ideas to make !!
This is peak LEGO Minecraft. There’s something so magical about the original microscale sets. And I feel like this one recaptures all of it, and more! What a nice set to celebrate the game and the theme as a whole.
Holy wow. This is crazy. I love the old mini sets and actually started to make MOCs of new versions of it (inspired by your Minecraft builds) but wow I cannot wait to get this!
People have been asking for a return to this style for quite some time. There's clearly a lot of Microworld fans out there yet, and I'm glad they made it happen!
A large advantage of the micro set is something that cannot be ignored for people that like to collect and/or build mocs a lot: It takes up way less space.
Micro sets always amaze me, minifig sized or larger builds are impressive enough in what talented builders can do, but to flip that and put so much detail in a world made of some of the smallest elements possible is mind boggling
Thanks to you, I really want to build a scale model like this, with various biomes and caves. (Though I wouldn’t go as big, just a baseplate) maybe I’ll use this as a layout.
@@CheeseyStudios I have the village and the nether! Managed to find them locally, but yes I might just buy the other 2 online for a bigger price ahah. The more I look at it, the more it appeals to me. It's been many years since I have played Minecraft, but I continue to have admiration for the Lego theme.
This is so cool as lego made a series of similar Minecraft lego sets called “microworld” and were made way back in 2012 and I actually own one of them so I am definitely adding this one to my collection
Potentially also worth noting the 4 technic peg connectors on each side of the model perhaps implying more blocks to come that could be connected and displayed together?
I'm kinda in the same boat! The microworlds never appealed to me when I was younger - I just wanted the minifigure scale sets lol! Things have changed a lot though, and I definitely see the value in something like this now.
You should build a desert temple on the left of the badlands, and with the elevated terrain you could add a loot room with a classic lego Minecraft tnt explosion
Same here! Even cooler yet, the modules are built on 6x6 plates here, just like the original Microworld sets, so you could easily combine them if you decided to go and buy some of the originals
What’s interesting to me is I’m pretty sure the skeleton print is the SAME one they have been using for like 2 years for the mob spawner micro-build. Makes you wonder if they have been planning since that initial lush caves or if it’s just good parts usage🤷♂️
It's all tiny and cute! I do like the regular size things a lot more, but this is still a fun little box. Hopefully it will not actually be a chemical weapon and arrive soon at Cheesey Studios.
3:01 there's technic + holes at the back. Are they making a furnace, chest, grass block, end stone, or whatever else in the future? I'd be so down for this to be a series!
@@CheeseyStudios you could always make a custom? A furnace where you can look in the bottom shelf and see the nether. (You know, because fire) I'll do it if you don't.
i thought i was too late to the party for a micro world set but in actuality it looks like im just in time for the magnum opus. 'Born too late to experience original Lego Minecraft micro worlds, born at just the right time to experience the biggest and possibly best one'
This set looks really cool. And I'm glad it's not hundreds of dollars, like the mario 18+ sets. When the first micro world sets came out, I wasn't that interested because they weren't minifigure scale, and we didn't have minifigure scale sets(they weren't bad, I just really wanted minifigure scale sets). Now, I think it's a great addition to the existing line, and a cool display piece. I like that there's a stand for the little figures on the front too
My only problem with it is that it's not really compatible with the old Micro Worlds, even though I've sold mine. And I don't really have a place to display this, either - the coffee table's occupied by the orrery and a 3x Creator Red Fox foxtaur moc.
idk if you noticed but on the sides there are those thingys that you use to connect the moc in your lego world. Does it mean that other blocks will come?
Ik this isn’t one of the summer see videos but out of the farm windmill set, the wolf set, the cherry blossom, and the badlands mineshaft which do you think you’d recommend the most? I haven’t got a set in a while and those ones have my eye but are hard to choose from
this is probably my favourite Minecraft set yet, i think the scale works very well with the game aesthetic. only thing that is better is a full 1:1 rendition like your custom world, but that would probably be too expensive for general release
You know what excites me the most about this set? Nougat micro Villagers. The old one wasn't necessarily bad, but this new color is SO much better. Can't wait to see people make micro worlds in a similar way to how you make the full sized Minecraft layout.
Would be even cooler if they instead did something like the mario mystery block that reveals different biomes and opening the sides reveals the nether and the end
@@CheeseyStudios i know! Those were always my favorite because of the goofy looking mobs and because of how much terrain they could cover with such a small build!
Very nice, although I'm disappointed it doesn't come with extra sides to make it a fully enclosed crafting table. Then again, that would've made it much more expensive for maybe not that much extra value, and you could always mod it if you really wanted it fully enclosed.

While I never cared for micro world, and don't plan on ever picking this up, this is one of the best ways to celebrate the start of the line. Microworld is where it all began. Would I have preferred actual sets? Yes. Do I think this is cool? Yes.
I never collected the Minecraft sets. I think I’m just not a fan of the blocky texture. BUT I will pick this up to showcase my love for Minecraft. I did in fact have by original world, so it’s a great throwback
