I find robert's character very comforting. He's a realist. Not pessimistic, neither optimistic. He admits it's okay to feel depressed but we still get to choose. There is some positivity or hope in acceptance of the way we feel and the confusion we sometimes face. It's oddly very human. It's ok and that's hopeful.
He seems like the type of guy to give you a motivational speech and putting you down to earth at the same time which he does😂
I was kind of concerned he would just be a wise cracking depressed loser, but Mecha Man is honestly my favorite in the whole game next to Chase the Ace, aka "Black Winstein."

@jasonbond9993 how do i describe it, it's just that their first interaction in episode one, like not being forward from the start about the SDN proposition. Sure she tried to bring it up in the bar before Robert spat her face with alcohol, but i felt like she couldve mentioned that at the start yk? And then the billboard scene, removing his mask and touching his face? Looking at him longingly, i think any man would be under the impression that "this chick is flirting with me." Then Robert kissing her, her not mentioning that she was taken at all or even attempting to stop it? It just doesn't sit right with me.
Then in episode 2, she only mentions that she is taken by the end of it. Not at the start, not in between, just at the end. Like she had time to tell him that she wasnt on the market.
Then when she breaks up with Phenomaman, she doesn't refer to him as being a person, just an alien. Which is kinda fucked up. Sure he doesnt understand the intricacies of being a human or knowing social cues, but he does attempt to try. He is just kinda an oddball who would fit right in the Z team.
To then moving on from him and jumping right into another relationship with Rob, if u decide to have dinner with her. Like that's just wrong, especially so soon.
Invisigal, on the other hand, she is blunt and straightforward from the moment she is first introduced. Sure her jokes are terrible and socially awkward, but she is honest to a fault and doesnt shy away from speaking her mind or feelings. And Robert matches her energy every single time.
They both are so relatable to one another bcuz they both know what it's like to be at rock bottom, but he motivates her to be better. To not accept mediocrity and to rise to the challenge, instead of succumbing to the expectations of what other ppl have of her which is that she is nothing more than a low level villain. That she, too, can be a hero.
Those are just my thoughts though, one just sends mixed signals, while the other is just herself. But hey, if u like Blonde Blazer, i get it. She does have some nice qualities too, like how she is hopeful and wants the team to excel, especially for Invisigal. How she just wants to be adored and admires by the "real" her, which is Mandy, and not bcuz of her hero persona. Which is understandable. But idk to me, Invisigal is my choice and im a sucker for character progression for flawed characters.

While BB feels almost too good to be true. Like there are so many concerns that pop up when interacting with BB that u have to at least question them yk? While with Invis is "what you see, is what you get," and i like that bcuz she is just herself.

The thing that I like about this dynamic is that, while there's clear sexual tension here, it's the fact that Robert treats invisigal like a person that he enjoys being around/working with and not just another person to sleep with towards the end of video. It's sweet how we get to see that relationship come about. Rather than a typical kiss scene, we get a genuine moment of tenderness between the two of them just watching a romcom movie together. I feel like that choice makes this dynamic feel more authentic .
Ladies and gentlemen. Behold, a well written romance that feels really natural. Cos humans are not how holywood makes it look, we are messy, weird and stupid and half the time most of us have no fucking clue whats going on. So in short lets all just be really greatful the writers know what they are doing and hope we get more content like this.

Seeing Visi open up a bit more and we get to see a glimpse of who she is as a person behind the rough attitude she puts on for the world was so cute and endearing.
