Good morning! Summer is here! Just... This morning at dawn I heard the first Cuckoo of the year. A rare bird now sadly. The countryside there reminds me of the south side of the island I live on. And the sound of rain on a tent over night is so loud, I lived in a bell tent over winter a few years ago... You learn to respect the winds and rain camping out in it! I hope everyone has an amazing day.
Nice vlog.you forget how life in this beautiful part of the world is dominated by the weather not having lived in the west country on the coast growing up for 32yrs. 😊
The Gower is magnificent. My memories are of the fabulous scenery... but mostly picking hot blackberries off the brambles along the way. The people are fabulous too!
Lewis you should be way past your subscriber following count 💯% you have a wonderful presentation of your content and all your video's are a pleasure to watch 🙌👏👏👌
My Mother land you was not too far away, us welsh find it strange when the sun shines, but hen it do you could not be in a better country. Thanks for your video and all the effort you out in making these, Your Top Man. 👍🍀
25 years ago, I walked from the NT at Stackpole quay in Pembrokeshire, across Barafundle Beach to Stackpole Warren, around the lakes to the 8 arches bridge and back to the NT Car park. I said then it was the best walk I’d ever done, went back last year and did it again, not disappointed. If you get the chance, do this walk.
Around 55years ago we camped at three cliffs and like you we got rained on all night we had to get our parents to come and rescue us, welsh weather is (all too often) awful. But Three Cliffs is truly stunning, as is almost all of the Mumbles side of the Gower. Looks like you missed Mewslade bay, which is really only fully accessible at low tide. it has some amazing rock formations that look like Max Ernst paintings .The Gower is my fave place in the UK and I've not been able to return since 1981whe we left to move to Australia.
Great video mate, always loved ur style of RUclips as u don’t really follow everyone else flow but to ur own and that’s something we can all take from this channel along side all the other goodies u show as well 👍🏻really found it so funny on the video where u say “was a lovely camping spot last night, it’s really quiet round here” and next thing u hear is a big gust of wind so ye very quiet with the soundtrack of 60mph winds whistling around ur ear pipes 😂
Fantastic, I love these trekking type videos, plus the extra foraging, landscapes and tips perfect. Looking forward to watching more. Don't blame you having a break, good move. enjoy the trip. well done, I think you produce a very enjoyable and informative channel.
Love these camping videos as well as your foraging videos. Would be great if you went into even more depth about what you do day to day, although i appreciate that youre there to relax and enjoy the experience too.
Hi Paul, first off thank you for the amazing videos and education. If I could ask one thing - would it be possible and not too hard to put the name of the plants when you're viewing them? Like at the bottom of the screen, not too intrusive, but so we can get spelling right :) Also prevents needing to rewind for the plant name Again many thanks for your fantastic channel! If you ever do anything in the London area I'd be very keen to join!!
Hi from the Highlands. Loved this video. My question is as a forager do you eat what you find along the way or do you take supplies with you?? If so what??
So many beautiful shorelines in this video. Very nice!

We were there last week but didn't do the coastal path, thank you for sharing this.
Absolutely stunning 🥹
Ive been to rhosilli a few times fishing, even spent a coupl nights out on worms head. A beautiful place all round
Thank you, you give me courage to try an adventure myself.
Thank you. Three Cliffs Bay is my favourite place in the world.
Some amazing views great video bro 👏

Cool video.Where was the location 8:33? Looks like the type of beach you'd expect to see a few million years ago before humans.
Super
Did you go for a dip in any of those beaches you visited?
I went for a few quick dips when in the Gower, was still pretty chilly at this point. Once I got to Pembrokeshire I’ve been in the sea most days 😁
The area is called “Gower” NOT “The Gower”. If you want to confirm look at the Ordnance Survey Map or the Lands Registry
Try camping out on worms head next time it has a wonderful feeling of isolation.
WALES IS BEAUTIFUL AND I LIVE THERE RAIN OR SHINE 😂
Cwych❤
lol my last name is gower 💀
