大鑼大鼓大八音 高潤權師傅講打鑼鼓 When learning Gongs & Drums...

有聽過在街頭巷尾奏出的大鑼大鼓嗎？不是做大戲，這是「大八音」。主要由鑼鼓及嗩吶奏出的大八音，曾經在香港不少慶典慶祝上聽到，但己漸漸式微，現在只能在粵劇演出及殯儀儀式上才能聽到了。
Gongs & Drums that are seen in Chinese Opera performances, were used in many occasions in the old days of Hong Kong. Daibayin, the music style played by gongs and drums, used to appear in celebrations and rituals (weddings and welcome party for the Queen when she visited Hong Kong). However, this has changed since the 70s and and now Dabayin is only performed in a lesser scale in Cantonese Opera and funeral ceremonies.
