I'm not going to insult anyone here. But I believe a better job should have been done by the general manager in the following. The general manager had to contact the league early in the season when the on-court assaults of Caitlin Clark began. CC was repeatedly beat up by several teams several times. Many of those times fouls where not called on opponents. It is the general managers job to call, email or even fly to the WNBA's offices if necessary, to get this resolved. Dunn either didn't do this or she's not respected by the league. Why were the refs allowing this violence towards her?
The coach had an underdeveloped bench. She basically had 9 players while the other teams have 12. Victaria Saxton should have had early in season playing time over Smith. Grace Berger should have had early playing time over Erica Wheeler and Wallace. The player rotations left a lot to be desired. The mishandeling of challenges when they should have been called. Basically this team had no bench because the bench players were not prepared to play by the coaching staff. We all saw what happened in the Sun series, CC and Mitchell were gasping for air. The other night when CC was eye gouged. Sides had to stop the game. Even if she had to run on the court and get ejected. What the hell was that, by Carrington? She could not get away with that and no foul was called? Clark was assaulted time after time no foul! Like I said Sides at that moment needed to stop the game! Sides needed to defend her star player throughout the season, not just this game and failed at that.

Both of these people need to be fired. This team will not go the distance with either one of them in this organization. Organizational upgrading is needed. The bench is filled with players that are not professional caliber athletes. A dead bench. Highly disappointed in the leadership of this "professional" team. Quick playoff appearance in a league full of awful players. Teams have 1 or 2 good players; the rest are cannon fodder. These ladies might be sweethearts and great personalities to hang out with, however when it comes to scheme, coaching, leadership, and knowledge of the game, these two humans are NOT the answer. Just seeing Clark go from a program like Iowa to this team, has been a step down. Professional players don't need a "friend" they need a leader, a true head coach. 20 years as an assistant? Really, it sure did NOT show on the court. "Defensive mind? Are you JOKEING? Inconsistent lineups, poor game management, poor personnel management, poor adjustments game after game, and never taking responsibility. These teams are not doing anything special, half of them run the same style of offence. I truly hope this President can make the hard call and get a real head coach and GM. This team did not make the playoffs because of these two, they made the playoffs on the shoulders of Clark, Mitchell, Hull, and AB. Letting teams go on a 15-0 run without calling a timeout is ridiculous. Taking timeouts into the locker room did what? So disgusting how this organization overlooks details like that, then blames the players. Sides should be banned from coaching another human in any sport.
