- I do not own the copyright on this tune. DJ My Friend Jack. Great Beat / Psych, almost progressive, probably sold very few even though it was played on off shore stations. Feel free to suscribe to my channel where, for more than 10 years I have been recording and uploading my lifetime record collection. I have been collecting since the Sixties and I am a professional Vinyl DJ. My taste is very wide and I am constantly adding new and interesting tunes.
Love it. Tank you.
This is great 🎶👍
cool❤
Just transcribed the lyrics for fun, sharing them here in case anyone's interested:
Sitting up there in the sky
Looking down at the Earth below
He's seen a million years go by
The man in the moon
He sighs a sigh but no one hears
His face like a silver spoon
He doesn't laugh, he doesn't cry
Just sits watching the stars go by
The man in the moon
He knows what you're up to
And what you're gonna do
We're all gonna see him soon
The man in the moon
Sitting up there in the sky
Looking down at the Earth below
He's seen a million years go by
The man in the moon
Big thx for that. 👍😃
Cos my GF wants us to record a cover, lmao.
Another great song from the 60's which should've charted. 😢
Possibly would if John peel had had a free hand!!!. Rog Pacific Sunset Records.
This is great.
Awesome organ blasts
Thank you, Sean Parry. A wide variety of taste is a groovy thang.
You've rescued this from the sea of obscurity. Heavy psych
Phenomenal organ driven monster. Killer keys!
Cool wah wah. Great drums.
If it's good, it's good. I enjoy many different styles.

Yes, indeed. Good music is good music. I prefer rock-n-roll/garage rock stuff, but good music can be found in many genres and styles.
You said it. If it's good, it's good.✌️
"Man in the Moon" is a whopper.
@@thomassmith8721 I first heard this record some 20 years ago. An old chap who had a stall in a local market used to play his old tapes of pirate radio station broadcasts of the sixties. This was one of many great tunes that I then had to go and find on an original seven. It took a while but I eventually got this very copy for a reasonable price, great double sider, to boot.
This is AWESOME!!!
I apologize in advance if this was posted in one of the many comments. Peter Bardens who wrote and played keyboards for the song , would go on to appear on several albums for the U.K. Progressive Rock Band- Camel. One of the reasons this is overlooked is some of the internet sites years back (One time Discogs) reversed where he was born and where he sadly passed away. Peter was born in Westminster, London, England and died in 2002 in Malibu, California. Do you have the B-Side to please share-Long Time Coming. Thank you for such a gem.
I think I may have posted the b side, I will check. If not I will dig my 45 out and record it for you. many thanks, Sean, Bristol, UK.
Great!
Love the organ
Fantastic !
Wish I had the single. I first heard it on an Electric Sugarcube Flashbacks compilation l.p. I've hunted high and low for it endlessly without luck. Oh well, some things are just meant to be...
There’s a copy for sale on Discogs right now
Cool sound
Raw and Pure Bardens!!
Pete Thomas on bass and also a good drummer called William (Bill) Porter - great feel
Cool!

Groovy! :)
Killer...
Отличный психодел! Такого уже сейчас никто не делает.
Sorry, I meant Bruce Thomas on bass - I think Pete was the drummer in the Attractions
