What a beast! I remember as a kid we had a neighbor who said he wanted a tractor that was so big it'd take 40 acres to turn it around. This must have been the one he was dreaming of. LOL.
Just out of curiosity, I wonder if it has a 'road gear' for transport. 8 mph would get you to a distant field in a lot less time than the plowing gear at 2 mph.
What a work horse ,I don’t think it was struggling a bit . I think it could do 44 more if y’all could figure out how to attach it . And keep the coal shovler supplied with some ice cold liquids
Took the place of what, 100 horses? Still took a bunch of farmers to trip the plows. However, that is one incredible feat of plowing. Hope to see it live someday!
@@wildcoyote34 big bud couldn’t touch that plow. While it has 1100 hp it’s only making 2500 ftlbs of torque. The Case 150 makes 5000+ftlbs of torque. Hp gets you around the field quicker, torque is what really does the pulling. No single modern tractor could pull that plow, not a John Deere, a Case, or a Big Bud.
@@watchjaredwork1487 do you realize just exactly how much bigger that the Big bud 747 is compared to the case 150 ,,considering it weighs nearly double what the 150 case does i'd lay money on it being able to easily pull 44 plow bottoms ,, 1100 horsepower and 3100 pound feet of torque ,,considering there's pictures of it pulling a 35000 pound 80 foot chisel plow at 8mph i'd bet it'll pull 50+ plow bottoms
This one of the most impressive things a person could see.
As a one time farm boy, I remember when my father plowed with a John Deere B and a 2 bottom plow. This is really impressive!
Never underestimate a bloke in a shed!
This is from last year. They pulled 50 bottoms this year!
One thing about steam, it has so much low-end torque!
What a beast!

LOL.
Safety officers nightmare, very impressive indeed.
So much for modern technology.
Old School POWER...GOD BLESS U.S.
I hear a lot of people saying their diesel engine is rolling smoke. Pay attention this the grandaddy of smoke rollers.
Such an amazing machine.
Frickin Awesome what a beauty!
Amazing machine
Gottaove that flyball governor.
What a beast! 👍
Amazing what will the biggest diesel tractor pull

yup i bet it could do like 88 of them (hints you said) but man who would've thought a steam engine is stronger than most tractors today
just amazing!
It has more tractive effort then a quadtrac.
Amazing👍👍
Impressionante.parabens!!!

Super great and ❤️🇺🇸 American made and fuel as well 🏆🇺🇸
The coal looks a much lighter colour. Is it anthracite or coke or something?
Lets see a John Deere do that.
Call big bud 747 it's double the size of even this huge machine
