Matt and Grace’s wedding weekend was a beautiful testament to love, resilience, and the art of being truly present. Their story sees them growing up together through college to where they are now, through big losses and on to the development of this big love. Throughout their whole wedding weekend, along with all of the joyful celebrations, they managed to always find those important moments for stillness, prayer, and reflection. It’s a beautiful reminder of the importance of slowing down, to ‘just be still.’
As Grace’s family pointed out, “something happened at TCU” and throughout all the speeches, you heard the same about how they helped each other grow and change in the best ways. But you also get to see the fun they have with each other, the funny stories of how competitive they can both be, and how it helped form the relationship in the beginning. It’s touching to see the way they both truly admire each other, and how they keep coming back to focusing on the truly important things - their faith, their time together, and loving on their friends and family with all they’ve got.
