he didnt dominate Mason.. or Oakley.; Oakley had better numbers than Rodman head to head.. but yea, rodman WAS smaller than both those dudes and DID dominate MOST forwards in the league, but not ALL.
Videos like this could lead you to believe that this is how every Rodman and Mason matchup was. It wasnt. This is just a small sample size. What this video DOES show amazingly well is how Mason figured Rodman out. Early on, Mason would get pissed off and would get in Rodman's face or get tied up and shove Rodman aggressively, but then you see Mason get fouled and just hold his arms up in the air waiting for Rodman to try and instigate something. Mase stopped taking the bait, and you can see Rodman just walk away. Rodman knew most players weren't going to fight, they were just posturing. He also was totally fine with physical play and getting banged up, so he was totally down for taking a punch if it ever came to that. Just like Laimbeer, you get the other guy so pissed off that he swings on you and they get thrown out and possibly suspended. You're in the paint taking hits every game, what's another hit?
@@TV-ob1if and it seems like YOU are the one that got their feelings hurt. I mean you are the one that start the name calling. l actually agreed with you. wow.. how catty of you ma'am
We should’ve kept Mase (rest in love) and LJ should’ve stayed in charlotte. With Oak getting older, Mase would’ve been our enforcer for many years after.
I'm surprised this video doesn't show how Mason grabs Rodman by the throat and tosses him like a ragdoll across the court -- then rodman jumped up shakin' his head like an abused woman with her hands on her hips... smdh
At least Mase didn't let Worm out-psyche him, while smart enough when not to mess up/retaliate. Thank you for the memories, Anthony George Douglas Mason (1966-2015).
no disrespect but anthony mason didn't equal dennis rodman and please tell me who you all feel played the bulls led by legend michael jordan better in the playoffs between the 98 hornets and the 96 knicks led by star patrick ewing
Hornets did get screwed with that no foul call in game 4 with 1 second left..I forgotcwhat year that was though and I'm a Knicks fan. I still think the 96/97 Knicks would have had the best chance 2 beat the bulls but PJ brown incident happened. 93 playoffs. Game 5 at the garden. Series tied at 2 and Charles Smith happened.
no disrespect EXCEPT charlie ward but in my OPINION the 97 knicks WOULD'VE lost 4-1 to the bulls i'm still NOT certain about the future i still SOMEWHAT like the knicks ALMOST as much as the heat and hornets because i still LOVE patrick ewing ALMOST as much as alonzo mourning
@@youtuber3328 lol. Charlie ward was a sold player. Obviously the Knick would have won the 93 series if they won game 5. That was a pinch 2 the gut. They blew it 97 playoffs the bulls beat the heat in 5. I think the Knicks would have won that series. That was the year imo but the bulls dominated the Heat. The bulls vs Rockets would have been interesting in the finals
To this day it defies all physics and logic how Rodman could physically dominate men much bigger than him

Anthony Mason - rest in peace ❤
RIP Anthony Mason
'Mason buried the and-1, and Rodman right along with it!' 😂😂😂🔥🔥
imagine Doncic against 90s knicks or Bad Boys
i'll PERMANENTLY be TOTALLY unbiased and admit that in my OPINION patrick ewing wasn't as elite as star isiah thomas
Mason could've really whupped Rodman physically. RIP Anthony Mason!

I love Mason, but I don't think we get to the finals with Mase. I love both Lj and Mason.

Hubieran echo un episodio de Celebrity DeathMatch!!💪🏻😅 En ese tiempo!
Don't mess w/ Mason worm?
Mase is one big mean looking dude
Yah well, Anthony Mason could score, Rodman, not so much.

head to head, Mason won that match up tho..
no disrespect but the rebounds were PROBABLY high from dennis rodman

Dennis was intimidated at all by Anthony Mason bullying tactics . Rodman had mind games for him and beat Mason's ass everytime
not according to these highlights. Mason beat rodman more times than the other way around..
