The first time I saw the aggies play in the Jones in the SWC days, the aggies would send a guy from the sideline to courier the play in, then run him back to their sideline. You know, just to make sure no one was cracking their signals. After a short while, that guy was getting ovations from the Tech crowd everytime he did it.

Still try to figure out how Casey talks without moving his mouth. What kind of crazy voodoo is going on in Lubbock?!?

I'm remembering the days when the quarterback and middle linebacker called the plays without signals of ANY kind.

So as of now who is on our basketball roster? It’s hard to keep up with it.

Will the 2 minute warning implementation mean we have less touchdown commercial kickoff commercials? The NFL largely moving away from that has been great for the pacing of games. Also, what’s the purpose of doing 2:30 commercial breaks for ESPN+ games, consistency with televised games? Because half of the commercial breaks on espn plus is a picture saying commercial break in progress no one is getting money from that. Feels like an easy way to shorten game times imo

Honestly, the group that got it right is the school for the deaf who has the hud. Should be a HUD for all players. Can signal in plays, can't communicate fast enough to affect the game negatively.
The NFL is lame. Joey is right.

Forgot all about the idea of HUDs in the facemasks of the players. You got it right. The NFL should be all over that. NCAA could beat them to it. Ive always said the field players ball markers all of it should be digitized. I could only imagine one gigantic advertisement on the field that takes up all 100 yards 🤣. There should be cameras on the helmets to see the view from the player. Watching Adrian Peterson get to bucking that head when he was off to races after trampling anyone in his way was a thing of beauty. That Vikings horn on the helmet fit his head bobbing perfectly when he had the TD in sight.
      * Ai marking the ball when a knee or elbow goes down. That way there are no errors from the refs in ball marking especially on 4th down. How MLB doesn't use the technology to call balls and strikes for the umpire is beyond me. Dont know how many times ive watched a MLB game with skin in the game and an umpire is calling balls strikes and strikes balls. Players with augmented reality in their face masks so they can see the first down at all times.

Joey and co needs to run a worse case scenario and a best case scenario with this new communication rule. It's there so you've got four-five months to figure it out. I like the new two minute warning. I wouldn't be surprised within two or three years that all NFL rules will be adopted by the NCAA especially the 2 ft inbounds rule for receivers. Times are changing, just gonna have to have to adapt.

Implementation lags behind innovation. The amount of tv ads run in a football game is something. The 2 minute warning sure will have an impact. With the double green helmet on the field at the same time have a rule where only 1 player designated to receive coms uses the headset while the other player with green dot has to indicate to the refs and other team with a fair catch like indication that his headset is turned off. Another rule only 2 green dots on the field at the same time. Or take the easy road like Joey said just have a rule of only 1 green dot on the field at a time. Simplifies everything. How hard is it to change a helmet? We should time how fast a player can change helmets like a Nascar pit crew. Or have the green dot removable... I think it would be neat if all players had head sets. In between plays coaches can exchange information with which ever player he needs. Like a Nascar communication system. Whos wheels need changing. Gas filled up. need to chisel off sharp angles on the route running Ect. would be interesting.
I think Chance Mcmillian has a lot of fans. Not worried about what Grant has in store for year 2. Farther than round 1 of the NCAA Tournament is a half a win in my book.
