I remember checking this out at a Game Crazy many years ago when the Dreamcast was still having games made for it. It looked great, and definitely made me want a Dreamcast besides some of the other awesome games it had.
No loading on N64 makes it superior, but PS and DC versions are fine too. They had an updated version of Gold that fixed the bugs. PS version is too dark on the level and character lighting, so DC version is 2nd place for me. 🍻🤘🏼
i remember seeing a boy playing this game when I was a child I was so confused and wondered why his MK was in 3D and why his PS1 and controller looked so weird... It took me 20 years to understand what was going on at that moment 😂 In my defense, the Dreamcast was basically non-existent in this country.
The original first Mortal Kombat was the best version. Everything after that became politically correct Hollywood Halloween type shit. Even MK2. MK1 is where it's at. FUCK the rest. I don't read replies.

Generally I think that the ps1/n64 version is most often considered better due to unique gold glitches and such

The graphics are pretty decent and so is the smooth but fast gameplay

This game looks hilarious, it's literally the old mk games but in shitty 3d graphics, awesome.
First one with actual 3d movement too. You could move left and right not just back and forward.
