You have shown me ideas for my meals. It is not too complicated , too expensive, or time-consuming to nourish ourselves.

That is why rate of obesity in Japan is below 5% whereas in the US is over 42% I also love how you prepare healthy food with lots of love and thoughtfully lay it out - beautiful. New subscriber here! p.s. Heating honey turns it TOXIC. You can look it up. I eat honey with spoon (put in my mouth) and drink hot tea separately. Water in which veggies are boiled can be used as a stock or as feed to the plants (once cooled down) - helps to avoid waste. I actually would have thrown veggies into the rice cooker (so that all juices stay in) and added greens once the porridge is cooked.

This is the second video I watched ❤ A suggestion, what if next time add some flavor to the blanched water so it's not going to waste and you can consume the vitamins in it. Maybe adding fried shallots and any flavor you like, chicken cube or anchovy cube.

Random question, how come when Japanese open their windows/doors, they dont have a mesh to keep flies and mosquitoes out? Do they not have flies like we do in the US? Or is that why many Japanese have cats (to kill the flies)?

They sleep on futon. Extremely comfortable and cozy. I've had the best sleep of my life on them.
