I love patriotic things. My husband spent 23 years in the Air Force and to this day when I here "The Star Spangled Banner" it brings tears to my eyes as it always did when we would attend the movies on base and everyone would stand as it played before every movie.

So glad you showed your embroidered bag! I've been embroidering for about 5 years and there is always something that surprises me! The only time I hate it is when I'm doing something for someone else and it can't be fixed, so I end up buying another garment or whatever to replace my error! I've recently quit taking on orders. I'm getting too old to want that type of frustration! Finally came to my senses!!

I found PTWT a while back and have become addicted to following you and learning so much. I LOVE, LOVE that Liberty Box and would love to win it so my two grandsons (now ages 12 & 14) could help me make the cool pattern. Both boys learned to sew with grandma at ages 6 & 8 and have made a few quilts on their own. P.S. They also crochet. As football and basketball players, they also know sewing is NOT JUST FOR GIRLS!!! (Patriotic is their fav because they were born in Venezuela but love their America like you can't believe).

I love, love, love the Liberty Box from FQS. I have entered at least one other time I think to win one but have not won one! I have gone on-line to buy one and for some reason just did not, probably because my order was already over my self-imposed limit! 😂. I would LOVE to win one. Maybe if not I will just have to break down and treat myself to one if there are any left by then. Thank you Becky for sharing you quilting and embroidery journey with us. So nice of you to share your bag embroidery FAIL! Yes, we are all human and make mistakes. I have made similar ones and I’m sure it won’t be the last. I stitched the top apron strap that goes over your head to hold up the top part of the apron when I was making a Christmas gift…….appliqué design on the front and that top strap got caught underneath somehow. Ruined the apron. Yes, I am more careful but I’m sure it won’t be the last time! Thanks a for sharing it all with us! Your projects are so awesome and I so enjoy your videos! Keep them coming. Our daughter is now out of the USAF but has been recently promoted to Major in the ANG and continues to serve in that capacity. She did some really amazing stuff during the past year or so working first doing testing and training for covid testing and then for getting the vaccine out to large corporations’ employees and large residential facilities in her state. She is a nurse practitioner and will be starting a new position soon at the VA Hospital where she now lives with her family. So proud of her. And thank you for your all your hard work and service as well! You are to be commended!

Some days are tennis racket busting days. Others are glass of wine enjoying days. Most are a mixture of both.
I found PTWT a while back and have become addicted to following you and learning so much. I LOVE, LOVE that Liberty Box and would love to win it so my two grandsons (now ages 12 & 14) could help me make the cool pattern. Both boys learned to sew with grandma at ages 6 & 8 and have made a few quilts on their own. P.S. They also crochet. As football and basketball players, they also know sewing is NOT JUST FOR GIRLS!!! (Patriotic is their fav because they were born in Venezuela but love their America like you can't believe).

Oh we have all been there! So sorry that happened to you. I stitched something and put it on the back instead of the front and was almost in tears! Chalk up to learning and double or triple checking!

I love, love, love the Liberty Box from FQS. I have entered at least one other time I think to win one but have not won one! I have gone on-line to buy one and for some reason just did not, probably because my order was already over my self-imposed limit! 😂. I would LOVE to win one. Maybe if not I will just have to break down and treat myself to one if there are any left by then. Thank you Becky for sharing you quilting and embroidery journey with us. So nice of you to share your bag embroidery FAIL! Yes, we are all human and make mistakes. I have made similar ones and I’m sure it won’t be the last. I stitched the top apron strap that goes over your head to hold up the top part of the apron when I was making a Christmas gift…….appliqué design on the front and that top strap got caught underneath somehow. Ruined the apron. Yes, I am more careful but I’m sure it won’t be the last time! Thanks a for sharing it all with us! Your projects are so awesome and I so enjoy your videos! Keep them coming. Our daughter is now out of the USAF but has been recently promoted to Major in the ANG and continues to serve in that capacity. She did some really amazing stuff during the past year or so working first doing testing and training for covid testing and then for getting the vaccine out to large corporations’ employees and large residential facilities in her state. She is a nurse practitioner and will be starting a new position soon at the VA Hospital where she now lives with her family. So proud of her. And thank you for your all your hard work and service as well! You are to be commended!
