Acharya Ji, Durga Puja has started and this year it's going to be celebrated with more fanfare than the other years for winning prize from UNESCO at the last year. But in reality the time of Durga Puja is nothing but excessive consumerism. Before 1-2 months the garments selling is at the peak. Not only that into the advertisement of those garments brands bad things are glorified, as an example in an advertisement of a particular brand a girl and a boy is infront of goddess Durga during Pushpanjali in the day of Mahashtami, they were in the dresses of that particular brand and instead of throwing flowers to goddess Durga the boy was throwing it to that girl and she was smiling in that.
This time selling of liquor is also at the top specially in Kolkata than the other time in the year.
I think this things are happening because we the new generation don't know the actual meaning of Durga Puja due to lack of spiritual education.
Sir kindly tell us the real meaning of Durga Puja and how to celebrate this holy festival?

I want to add a point here . Why do we self hate ourselves? There's one more reason even if we know our higher possibilities. The reason is something around us or our surroundings aren't good. If we have toxic environment and people around us and we can't do anything about it , it creates a feeling of self harm in that case.

We live for excellence we live for absolute that's what the human birth is for to attain The absolute . Instead if you have decided to stay mediocre within then its death because life is for the highest anything lower then highest life is the same as death .
So choose your company with great discretion do not be around people who show you down . Be with people ruthlessly brought you on towards betterment who mercilessly bring out your shortcomings and who never allow you to believe for a second that you are destined to live a mediocre life. Because you must be excellence therefore all your mistakes must be exposed. Thats the kind of people and books and environment you should choose.Inwardly whenever you find thoughts of weaknesses dominating you push away that thoughts. Do not allow anybody to dominate you including your own thoughts. If even your own .if even your own judgement is that you are a weakling reject that judgement. You might be beaten and when yiu are beaten accept that with honesty and courage. But if somebody tells you that it is your destiny to remain beaten and fallen push that person away . Yes i have fallen and i won't hide the fact that i have fallen .
I am courageous enough to boldly admit that i have fallen and it's a such a bad display on my part surely i am cultivating some nonsense within the reflection of which is this fall . But if you ar telling me that i must limit my life itself .that i must give up on the potential and the possibilities that has to offer. Then sorry if i have to live in mediocrity then i better not live.

You have to be very honest to your mistake.
I know I should study for competitive exam while I am also doing job but there is a kind of doubtful tendency whether I will be able to clear exam. I do this when I am free and mind keeps on bringing doubts.
We are born to possibility of getting excellence,but we refuse it and choose mediocre life.Scociety lives a mediocre life hence they don't like excellence and don't teach excellence to the children
What I learn Today is
1. Love yourself.
2. Be Honest with yourself.
3. Have courage to Accept bad things in you.
4. If I have to live medicore life then better to have death.
If i have to live in bondages then life then life is not worth it.
You have been convinced that you do not deserve anything beyond a point. The high things in life, be it within or without, they all require a price to be paid, they all require that you toil and face difficulties and suffer blows. But why will you suffer blows if you have been convinced by the environment around you that you anyway do not deserve to reach the top.
When you know who you really are and when you know that your potential is unlimited then there is self love. Then you do not want to deprive yourself of what you deserve. Then you will say I will pay whatever price it takes. I will not settle for something mediocre.
The mediocre society turns its own kid into mediocre products. The kid is heavily dependent on the society, for information, for upbringing, for culture, for conditioning. All of that comes from the society. And the society is never something of excellence. Therefore it does not cultivate values of excellence within its kids. And the kid is made to believe that a normal, kind of run-of-mill life is all that there is.
There is something within us that can fall in love only with the absolute excellence. With anything short of the absolute, you will find yourself short of love. The absolute is sometimes called, Truth, Liberation, or sometimes even God.
Inwardly, you know what it is that we all live for? We live for excellence. That's what the human birth is for - to attain the absolute.
Be with people who ruthlessly prod you on towards betterment, who mercilessly bring out your short-comings. And who never allow you to believe, even for a second that you are destined to live a mediocre life. They will say "Because you must be excellent, therefore all your mistakes must be exposed."
Inwardly, whenever you find thoughts of weakness dominating you, push away those costs.
Each human being is born for greatness. Greatness is my destiny. Never compromise on that greatness. Never compromise for the destiny you are born for.

Why do we hate our self because we have refused our highest possibility to ourself . Whenever you will do that you will hate your self your entire life .
Whenever you refuse something more worthy you will become guilty in your own eyes. And you will not be able to forgive yourself for that.
How can you love someone who can't be pardoned how can you love someone who is guilty of a very bad crime .so we don't love our self and if you don't live yourself why will you want to give yourself the best . Yiu will be settle for anything.
