Everyone is always scared of unknown things in the woods. The scariest thing you can encounter is another person
Agreed
I’m glad he wasn’t a woman by himself I’m just saying.
Famous last words. There are things out there that we don’t understand, things science does not yet recognize.
Good thing you can always hear Bigfoot a'comin round the bend....
Ya know, he's got really big feet and makes a ton a noise.
@@72tadrian65 😂😂
The most British thing I've heard in a while..." I don't wanna be fighting a load of smackheads off, at 3 o'clock in morning" 🤣Love you're videos . My new fave channel
Especially not ninja smackheads!
I thought the most British thing he said was “we can only have a 3 inch blade” must suck to live in a country where you can’t even own and carry a firearm, makes me rock hard knowing I can carry any firearm I own damn near anywhere I go I always carry , even when I’m checking the mail box
@@yourlifedontmatter 🤣🤣🤣
@@GrizzlyGaz are you allowed to have archery ? Or even a spear gun ? Some of videos you post like the one we’re you caught that guy on your trail cam would give me the chills, have you thought about setting up trip wires around you camp set up to something like a can full of rocks or bbs to make noice
"smackheads"😆
After your kindness in feeding someone you were left worried and felt you had to leave... Good shout mate. Safety first. I'm pleased you and your little dog were OK. I wouldn't go back mate, as lovely as it looks
I'm not concerned about a hungry stranger. I am really afraid of the other folk he tells of the generous stranger with the food and gear at a camp nearby.
I think the greatest danger a wild camper can face is from other people, not most, but you can definitely tell a bad vibe when you feel it! Totally did the right thing😶
You are totally right. That's why, when I'm out camping, I always have my Ruger Blackhawk .357 mag with me at all times. Also, we have a ton of black bears in my area too so you gotta stay protected!
This is why I don't camp. I'm not afraid of the animals, it is the people that scare me.
Um...this is why I've went camping. Always by myself. It's easy to identify and avoid the places where people go out in the woods.
this is why I camp in my truck with a loaded shotgun beside me
Right!! I wish everyone was like this friendly and good spirited creator. Unfortunately not :(
Hi Griz, you made the right decision to leave, I felt he was sizing you up to see what he could come back for later to support his addiction. If he came up on you so quietly he could have took your life! Glad you listened to your gut!!
Enjoyed your video & will be looking for your next one, stay safe, so happy to hear you fought to quit drinking, it is a fight WORTH FIGHTING FOR!! You obviously now know what it feels like to be clear minded & feel healthier. Stay with it & stay strong!!
@@jodavis2243 I think he may need a different breed of dog when camping.
Glad you reconsidered and walked out of there mate. There's no telling what an addict is willing to do to pay for the next fix, especially when you're isolated like that. Wouldn't go back there in the near future either if I were you. Once a location like that is known to the wrong folks, it can only bring you more trouble than it's worth.
I am impressed by your integrity in not taking "gifts" or endorsements from companies . I enjoy your honest realism and you being you. Blessings and prayers to you and family from Iowa, USA.
Finding that the trail camera was gone gave me chills. It's a good thing you listened to your gut and got out of there.
You were absolutely right to listen to your instincts. Please, do not go back to camp there again! I'm a firm believer in instinct. Just May 6th, I survived a near death experience. I live in a senior apartment complex that is gorgeous. I just moved in last October. Brand new buildings. I bought all new furnishings, and it was going to be my forever peaceful place. It is set back into the woods and is quite lovely really. A man and woman came around several times asking about how to get in as tenants. Immediately I had just a terrible sick feeling. And every time after that they came around. I began to purposely avoid them. They managed to get into an apartment this last January. On May 6th of this year, they drove through my apartment and almost out the other end, while I was standing in the kitchen. They drove a full-size pick-up truck. I am still healing and seeing several doctors for different injuries. I lost everything and have had to start all over again. So, please Griz, don't go back there. Take your warning seriously. I never dreamed this would happen to me. I just thought he was a creeper.
Jesus that's crazy what happened
That is The Word for it!!CRAZY!👍🌅❤️
I’m 72. Done a great deal of camping in my life. Mostly in the mountains where you had to worry about the wild animals that walked on 4 legs not 2. I have always listened to my inner voice or as you say, gut instinct, that’s how I’ve made it to 72. I know it was a beautiful spot to camp in but you don’t want it to be the beautiful spot you died in. Find another spot off the beaten trail and turn it into your outdoor sanctuary.
Glad you followed your gut instinct. One of the biggest reason I take my dogs camping. They give me a heads up on any movement.
haha, he technically had a dog with him too..... Whatever the selctive breeeding did to the poor animal. May have been in a coma when the creep crept up on him and gave him a food for thought.
One thing I have learnt in the past, is if someone asks you for a light, they never ever have good intentions. Every time it has happened to me, it has ended up in a fight. I wouldn't go anywhere near those woods mate. What sane person would be out on their own asking random people for a light?
Ok, so I started out on RUclips looking for camping videos. I actually was looking for gear, lol, (and kudos to you for principals on selling/reviewing stuff.) The algo lead me to your channel and now I’m binge watching all your stuff.
This video was brilliant. You handled that guy like a pro, - didn’t show a ton of fear, shared what you had, talked to the kid and then, most importantly, left when your instincts told you something was wrong. This really could be a case study for how to handle unwelcome strangers. I’m glad you shared the experience, - and I’m glad you’re safe.
Cheers pal. Hope you enjoy the channel 👍
Wow! I really respect the fact that you refuse to do commercials on your vlogs. Not many people these days have that kind of moral backbone and commitment to their audience. I enjoy your vlogs all the more because of this. Also, I dig your sense of humor; I often find myself chuckling right along with you whenever you start laughing at something.
Keep up the great vlogging, and stay safe!
You've gotta laugh at yourself mate. 😜
Eh.. I don’t believe that having ads in a video means someone doesn’t have a “moral backbone”. While it’s definitely commendable not to, a lot of people make such content full time and also need to eat/pay their bills. It also doesn’t hurt to have funding to pay for higher quality equipment as well.
Gaz, you made the right decision. always follow your gut. I wouldn't go back unless you had a mate with you, but it might not be so enjoyable anymore. You'll always be on edge. That guy could have robbed, or attacked you. Follow your instincts. You might want to always carry pepper spray wherever you go. Stay safe. Blessings
Thank you
Yes he did a very good decision
Definitely glad he gathered up his gear and Fendy, and left. Gaz is a smart man. It was genius to get the guy on Cam in case something happened.
@@katrinajohnson3776 yes very smart and that is why the trail cam was taken.
@@harolynallison3962 I hadn't thought of that. You're right.
the moment that guy licks his tounge out when gaz pointed his camera at him to introduce him is like instantly a red flag for me lmao
I used to love stealth camping but I suffered a catastrophic spinal abcess which has left me paralysed from the chest down so that has curtailed my trips out so I now love it through your videos
Sorry to hear about that pal but if it helps, my dad was paralyzed from the neck down after an accident and was told he'd never walk again by the doctors... 6 months later he walked out of hospital!!! Granted he's like a honey badger and doesn't know when to quit but I thought I'd share that with you.
Never give up 💪
Have you experimented with psilocybin mushrooms ? They have been shown to aid in the regrowth of damaged parts of the brain following stroke possibly they could help your situation as well. God gave them to mankind to be our medicine, use them
Have you ever played skyrim? It's a really beautiful fantasy game that was really helpful to me when I was struggling with my mobility. It helped me get out of my head and feel like I was getting out into the woods again. I would highly recommend it. Take care of yourself man!
Never camp where you don’t feel safe. Like that ex copper says listen to your first instincts they are never usually wrong.
I just discoverd your channel by coincidence, and this video really hit me in different ways. I pay you my respect for beeing so open and honest about your experience with drinking. There are so many people struggling with this, and I think it`s so important for them to know they are not alone.
Also, really glad you followed your guts concerning this guy. Who knows if he told you the truth about his life, and who knows what he was up to. Sad we have to worry about such things instead of beeing able to trust people, but there are too many people which are up to no good out there. Maybe he really had no bad intentions, but it´s better safe then sorry. We don´t have our instincts for nothing. And the fact that your camera is gone makes it even more eerie. I wouldn´t go back to that spot or area to camp there, especially not alone.
Stay safe out there, and you have my subscribe =)
Thank you Lairely. Welcome aboard
I've done a lot of camping in urban areas in the past. And forests nearby, but also a little further. You wouldn't believe how many people move through the woods at night. Especially homeless people and junkies, the worst thing is when they take your camping spot. It's really no joke. Since then, I tend to go to more remote places or to the mountains. And at least it's a good idea to always carry a knife.
Whilst I agree with you the fact is that it was likely YOU taking their camping spot lol, being they are homeless and sleeping in urban woodland
Glad you and your little dog are safe, you seem like a genuinely nice guy so definitely be careful of those weirdos creeping about, 9 times out of 10 they're up to no good
Glad you got out safe enough to tell the tale. I admire your courage to go stealth camping in the first place and you come across as a good friendly guy .Also think your vids are entertaining. However stealth camping is inherently risky. I own a motorhome and would never consider wild camping in it.I have heard stories of bricks thrown through windows in the dead of night. Some seriously sinister individuals knocking around at night. Stay safe Gaz. You’ve got kids back home and a lovely little dog who need you. Also thank you for baring your soul bout your drinking A great achievement. Well done and good luck .
I dont think stealth camping is inherently risky. I've been doing it for years and never encountered anyone coming up to me. You almost never see or hear anyone else in the woods after dark. You are in far more danger walking the streets at night, or getting on a bus or train at night, or driving on the roads at any time.
This incident here is an anomaly, or at the very least unusual. Unless you go to a spot that is well known and visited by others. I personally never camp anywhere that other people have used. It would put me off right away.
Cheers.
Yeh may be he did have bad intension or a weirdo by i don't like the word you used junkie addict is more appropriate ok
@@clairemaloney7144 It was a junkie tho..
@@lyndoncmp5751makes sense really, I cant even imagine too many psychos deciding to walk into the woods with a flashlight in the dead of night
@@matthewwilliams3827
Indeed ha. And how would they know the person camping who they are watching isn't armed and won't come out of the tent to chase them? 😉
Creepy😳 The fact that the trail cam was gone means he probably watched you put it up, and was watching you for a bit. Glad you followed your gut. Please don’t go back there.
nah knowing those kind of street addicts - which unfortunately I do - he probably went straight to his mates to tell them, and then went back to rob him blind soon after - lucky he left and they only got away with that one cam really.
If your subconscious
is telling you creepy, dangerous, unsafe.... its a really good idea to follow that instinct
Well done fella, love the videos
Such a good job you left. Our instincts are rarely wrong. I did wonder in the previous video if it was you in the poncho giving us a little scare, but now we know it wasn’t, that video is even more creepy! I don’t think you should go back there, keep you and little fenzel safe! Great vid as usual 😊
👍
Hey gas. I love your vids and how upfront and honest you are. You are a good person and very hard to find people like you. I’m glad you trusted your instincts and left the camp. You asked if you should camp there again. Personally I would never go back. Who ever that guy was knows you were there and obviously came back to rob you because your trail cam disappeared.if your up for advice, don’t amp there ever again. It’s not safe any more. Keep safe Gaz and keep your great videos coming .
I think you're right!
He had to of seen Gaz hookup the trail cam. How would he of known it was left behind by him?? I think he was being watched all along.
Hi Gaz great video .if u get another trail cam cover the red flashing light with blk electrical tape so it's not easy spotted
Hi gaz far too danerous to camp there mate
Rgey came back and took the trail cam
Just clicked subscribe, I was genuinely drawn in by this video.
You’re a nice guy with a story to tell, clearly knows the struggles and wanted to help a guy out by feeding him and chatting - who knows what state he was in.
You 100% did the right thing by leaving, I wouldn’t like to fight you that’s for sure but as you say, who knows who or what has been back at your camp spot.
I was a beer drinker like your self but recently changed my ways! Life is so much better since I am not in an alcohol fog! I love your personality. Keep up your awesomeness 😘
Thank you! Well done on getting straight 👌
Glad you followed your intuition!! That guy was trouble!! Sorry about your trail cam though. I'm glad you're ok!! Love your channel ❤❤❤
Gaz you come across as a decent bloke . I hope your channel continues to grow
Thank you!
Don't go back there to camp mate.
Hats off to you for keeping your integrity on no crappy adds with your channel! Grizzly Gazz insights andadventures are more than enough!! big love!
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing about overcoming alcoholism. I pray you stick with that decision. Blessings ❤
I think you did the right thing moving on, He may have been harmless but there is always that one time and its not worth the risk. I would say those woods are cursed
Yeah maybe!
I had a similar situation happen to me on the App.Trail, and a couple of guys came into my camp asking a bunch of questions with no gear whatsoever. They didn't have any weapons that I could see, which was good for my piece of mind. They just gave off this creepy vibe from the get-go. I had brought enough food for me and my dog, so I didn't have any to feed anyone else. I've got a German shepherd, and they just kept going on and on about him. He's trained to obey my commands, so if they had made any negative movements, he would have eaten them alive. They wouldn't take any hints that I was ready for them to leave. I went in my tent and put my holstered 45 on, and they left not long after that, and we didn't see anymore of them.
They were sizing you up. That 45 quite possibly saved your ass
@headfullofacid8088 absolutely. I think my dog would have taken care of them before I needed to use my sidearm or rifle.
@@justinbelcher3679 You didn't see any weapons on them but they could have hidden knives and with those knives make quick work of your dog. Stay safe friend
@@eladrio2311 he said he has a german sheppard not a chihuahua.
@@e.h.5849Eh, sure, but they are just as susceptible to knives and stab wounds.
Only just found this channel, the RUclips algo is slacking. You’re a solid dude my man I enjoyed listening to you and that was indeed a sketchy situation. Just the way he dipped off without saying anything, if he would have said bye then it wouldn’t have seemed so weird. It was probably best for everyone that you went, because if he returned with a fellow smackhead with ill intentions, then you’d be having to make a good case in court for having to neutralise a couple of wrongens lol. Be lucky pal, I’ve just subscribed and look forward to checking out your adventures.
It's a shame people can't just let others alone to enjoy their camp night in the woods, I enjoy your videos, stay safe out there, we lov e ya😁
Always follow your gut feeling. The creepy creep appearing from nowhere should be enough to tell you it isn’t safe to camp alone. I thought your little terrier would have let you know he was there. Stay safe Gaz.....🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Some A-hole snuck up on him very much on a purpose - No normal outdoors man would ever do that .
You stay a good distance from camp and yell : hello in camp - then ask for permission to enter a
Man’s camp ! Poor respect could lead to getting shot dead . ? Eh ?
Been watching for over a year love your camping videos and all the camping gear you try out also love your humor Mr please be safe cheers 🍻
Will do. Thanks for watching 💪
That is just gorgeous! The Blue Flowers! I wonder if you have a Bigfoot there! Yes Camp there again and be fully armed.... Bring a friend also
I wasn’t far off when I checked in on you and Fendy the other day. I’m so thankful that you trusted your gut. I can’t wait to check out your mysterious upcoming content.
😜
Hey Gaz...always love your vids!! As far as going back ALWAYS trust your gut....just like you did that night. If it's not a place you can relax anymore and it doesn't feel right then find somewhere else. The homeless druggies are an issue EVERYWHERE now. Stay safe!!👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦

So cheers.
No problem pal. Hope the channel grows mate
Love this, how nice 😊
He must've been watching you for a while to know exactly where you placed the trail cam. I'm SO glad that you followed your instinct and left. Better that the trail cam is gone and nothing happened to you! I love your videos and truly appreciate you posting them for our enjoyment. Can't wait for the new content!
Greetings from Florida, America! Every time I didn't listen to my gut, I ended up regretting it. Good call on pulling up your stakes and getting out. That sort of thing is why I'm armed when I go camping. I don't worry so much about the 4 legged critters - I had a bear wander through my campsite once and didn't do more than sniff around and smell bad. It's the two legged beasties that I worry about. It's a shame to feel like I have to consider that angle, but the number of back country encounters is on the rise and I'd rather not become a statistic.
The more I think about it, the more disturbing your encounter was. He shared your food and ate at your table while planning your harm. Smart move getting out when you did. Avoidance is always best. You've got nothing to prove and everything to lose. I just subscribed. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures!
That gut feeling was your spirit reacting to the other guys bad spirit. It's a good idea to heed the warning and get out of there. I wouldn't camp alone there anymore.
Great video, buddy.
Just watched you for the first time, and love the vibe you and your little camping mate have.
You're really affable, and I love that you won't sell out...nothing wrong with making some funds to support your channel, but you're not pushing items you wouldn't use yourself.
I live in the mountains of East Tennessee (yeah, American...hope u don't hold that against me too much) and it was great to see you respect the wilderness the way you do.
Do be safe out there on your own, it's definitely sad but the world has become crazy, and we never really know what the other guy is gonna do...especially the lone junkie living in the rough.
Take care, mate...happy camping to you...🙂🤟🏕.
Hi Gaz, love your videos. However, don't go camping there again even with some friends. That guy was too dodgy and creepy. Safety is always the first priority. I'm so glad that you are safe. Take care & keep up the good work. ❤️🙂
I could never go camping alone in woods. Wouldn’t even do it in my back garden 😂
I camped in the woods with a mate and we were scared beyond our wits!
You get used to it. I said the same thing
It’s scary as hell at first but you get used to the unknown that lurks in the darkness and strange bumps and twigs snapping in the night
Hey Gaz, first time watcher. I'll be following you. I'm a 75 year old veteran and former cop. You take care. back to finish the video.
I think Fendi is a God send, I noticed how she was sticking close to you and all, like she could sense it (just like the night with the women noises at your camp). I believe that guy was planning on attacking you, and was doing exactly what you think he was. Either he was going to come back himself or he was going to bring others.
I agree with the others, to not go back to that location. I’m so glad you guys are okay, and I think it’s great you listened to your gut. 🙌💯.
Please stay safe! This is why I have my firearm, bc you never know what others will do.
I hope you can carry pepper spray or bear spray or something. Take care and can’t wait till your next one.
Hey Gaz, your gut definitely steered you in the right direction, as for camping there again, I'd leave it for a year and then only camp there with some mates. It seems to be a spot for people with poor intentions, they seem to know when you're there, makes me wonder if those kids in the pop-up tent had an encounter.
Anyway glad to know you and Fendy are safe. Cheers my friend.
Very kind of you to give that guy some food but it's just so weird how he showed up in your camp site like that! I would have been leery and slept elsewhere, too. You just never know what people will do, better to be safe than sorry. Very smart move on your part. Glad you are okay, man. Stay safe! 👍
Gaz was pretty smart about this adventure luckily he didn’t stay love the this channel gaz for a w 👍🏼
When talking to the camera, Gaz looked round a couple of times as though he heard something and looked a bit worried. Was that that him creeping round and watching Gaz?
I put your videos on last night and watched the other 2. I was freaking out. I was holding my breath every time there was a noise. Then that guy at the end on the trail camera. I got up out of bed freaking out. My husband was like, "Wtf is wrong?" Lol I have been wanting to go camping for the past 2-3 years. Yeah, no more. Lol especially after this video. Freaking weirdos out there! I'd find a new place to camp. Glad you left. Love your videos. Your dog is so adorable! Tfs.
Great to see you both back❤ you definitely made the right choice by not staying 👍🏻 shame about the camera though 🤔 if you go back again take a friend mate😮
Definitely
Good on you Bro, Great camping, banter and responsible enjoyment of the countryside ;-)
Thank you
Don't go back. I think you made the right decision to leave. You have to think of Fendy too. We'd be heartbroken to know anything happened to either of you. The fact that the trail camera was gone was super creepy because he came back. 😮
I was shocked that your dog didn't alert you to someone walking up on you. Just found your channel...subed up.
Glad you made it out of the woods safely. Always trust your instincts. In the States, some people set up a camera in their camping location that can be monitored thru their phone or an I-Pad, etc. Just a thought for safety concerns.
That’s wild! I can only imagine if you didn’t offer him food, how quickly him and his mates would show up. Glad you trusted your gut.
He might have taken my kindness for weakness?
Not seeing you on here for awhile, but you always keep us entertained with good videos ❤
Thank you!
I watch your videos because much is learned from your camping adventures. I love the dog and I can see he loves you so much.
And thank you for informing us about the quality of the camper equipment.👍👏
Well done for getting out there Gaz
Glad you and the pooch are safe and sound
I love your video for several reason. One, you have a lot of respect t for the outdoors and you always take the time to clean up so the environment benefits. Two, you are a really generous person, I don’t know any other RUclipsr that would feed a complete strange because he was homeless and third your love for Fendy. Your videos deserve a lot more subscribers and views on your videos.
Thank you very much!
Congratulations on controlling your drinking! It's so hard on your liver, too. Just found your channel and really enjoyed the video. Love your personality and the fact that you can laugh at yourself, and your little dog is so cute! Stay safe on those camping trips!

Hi Gaz, this video just popped up on my feed and I wanted to say how much I enjoyed watching you and Fendi. I love your honesty and openness, so rare on RUclips. I’m so sorry you had that scary experience and glad you trusted your gut. Such a shame to have lost your trail cam but glad that’s all you lost. Fendi is adorable and my frenchie does that same crawling along the ground thing, so funny. But frenchies are highly nickable dogs and probably worth more than your trail cam so keep her close. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your adventures as I’m too timid to wild camp myself, much as I’d love to! Thanks and Subscribed.
I love watching you be you! Cooking camping with your dog an not advertising! ❤I wish I could come along
Stay well clear Gaz and be safe mate👍
Hi Gaz. Love your videos and the Fenzil she is amazing, I have a parsons Jack Russell who’s as mad as a box of frogs. You have such a wonderful way about you I really hope your channel goes from strength to strength as you definitely deserve it(even if you drink VK🤮 lol). You did right to leave I had exactly the same thought as you about him telling people that you are there alone and with Fenzile. So sorry that it got spoilt but glad you are both safe, take care looking forward to the next video 👻🐸
🤣🤣🤣
Im glad you left the campsite. aways trust your gut Glad you are both safe
I watch all the time. This channel is great. I'll be doing some solo camping myself on my channel compared to what I do now. I usually go to haunted locations but I'm going to add the solo camping to it. Keep up the great work!
Boom! Get on it! 💪
Definitely the best thing to do. As you say, if his mates are willing to attack him they'd have no issue with doing it to you and robbing you. The proof they took the night camera shows your instincts were correct but even if they hadn't been, as soon as you have any doubts about staying in a place, then leave. Better safe than sorry. Maybe don't camp there for a while, or even do a proper stealth camp with a couple of mates and freak the junkies out with weird noises and stuff 😅
Junkies asking for a light, that's my sign for "keep on your toes".
Happened far too often and always starts with that lol.
You're double the size of him, neck tats, pick up the saw, and he straight off scarpers.
Obvious to see what he was up to.
He managed to sneak up first time, and the dug never heard him.
(Creepy AF btw)
He was gonna sneak back during the night.
Screw going back there, unless it's with pals and dugs that would put them off trying it
Glad you got out of there. Don't camp there again, I really feel it's not a good place now. Such a shame. Might be worth mentioning this to the Police. That lad was odd, and to think you were kind enough to feed him! Take care xx
I'm glad you left ,no doubt about that.. it looks like a beautiful place to camp and the fact is, there are these damn druggies just about everywhere.
I decided to not tent camp anymore so I bought a shuttle bus and I converted it into my little hippie Nirvana. I feel a lot safer in there, plus I take my dog that is a Great Pyrenees lol!
It's a shame that when we go camping, about the only thing we really worry about are people... not so much the wildlife.
Glad you and your doggie are A-OK ❤️
Wish i took a camera when i went with mates. On both nights there was someone walking around my mates tent. I thought it might have been a deer or something.
Then on our way out the forest we saw a camp spot which was overlooking ours. Freshly put out camp fire which wasn’t there before. I had an uneasy feeling throughout those days and when i saw that i got the chills.
Might have been nothing to worry about but it was very creepy at night.
It happens to me a lot... Doesn't help that I really don't care where I camp!
I am a firm believer in that “gut feeling”. If it doesn’t feel right it probably isn’t . I was so enjoying the video up until Mr Creepy came along. My vote would be definitely a NO to camping there again fella. Your safety has to be first priority. Not to mention little miss snoring 😂😂😂😂 some guard dog she is!!! Bless her. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Here’s to the next one 💪🏻
Stay safe.
You just know when it’s not right !! Always go with your gut don’t put you and Fendy at risk find a new spot !!
Always
Very cool you tried to help other smaller channels! we need all the help we can get lol
Hey Gaz, take it as a warning esp as your trail camera got poached. I wouldn't go back, you'll be targeted. Kindness is taken as weakness & who knows how many lowlifes are now aware now of where to find you. That creep was sussing you out for sure, his approach & departure confirm it. Stay safe, love your vids
Clearly that spot has become something of a hangout for people like him. Or it's on the route to a hangout. Either way, well done on listening to the small quiet voice and getting out of there!
Really respect the fact, that you have turned down promoting products. We have a small motorhome, but mostly enjoy ''of grid' adventures. I find your channel very natural & also informative, which is an inspiration. Please keep with your honest integrity, We often stop watching other U--tubers that become contaminated with promotions.
I think sadly that spot sounds like it’s done now. Onto new pastures, where you can enjoy your time outdoors safely 🙌🏻
This is the 2nd time I watch this video because it reminds me of a scary encounter I had DEEP in the woods recently with 2 men creeping up on me and my boyfriend, we left immediately though and i didnt get any footage, it was very scary, you're very brave!! I think it was a good idea you didnt stay the night!!
My 4 friends and I are year round semi wilderness campers in Ontario, Canada. Your videos are great, you pack in and out, stealth camping, love it! Great gear and good bush craft. And tell Martin to announce himself before he walks into a mans' camp. That's proper bush etiquette.
Agreed
In Australia in the bushranger days, you had to cooee,as you came up on a bush camp,it could end badly if it was Ned Kelly or the other brigands that were in the bush back in the day !
Bug off BUGS! Or is it Bugger off BUGS! Yes indeed -strange behavior from Martin where he just left like that. Here you were nice and shared your food with him, hopefully he'll remember that and not cause you any grief later -always look out for yourself. Enjoyed the video especially when you talked in the high squeaky voice - that would be a great character voice;; you can make extra money doing that you know ;)
Hey Gaz, just found your channel and I’m loving it! What an amazing personality you are and you put both of my two passions together which is camping in nature and a bit of a thriller and suspense. Loving how you care for nature, animals and staying true to your values. I’m going to watch all of your videos this bank holiday lol. Wishing you all the best x
Enjoy Paula! 😎
Please dont take your dog someone could hurt them trying to rob you in the woods or something. Stay safe!
Lovely to meet you dude. I really like your energy.
Have we met?
No dude I'm from Tasmania Australia. Just came across your video. I Spend time camping by myself, and I also spent years drinking away my problems. Can't wait watch your content.
@@UPTAUT 🤗
You have to fight for what is right and all that you believe ( flashing blade, but so true!)
Drugs make people do crazy things but you wear your heart on your sleeve, offered him some food, nice one but you are right to be wary 👍🏻
Time for a new spot fella. Next time try to hide the trail camera makes it harder to steal.
No, don’t take the risk. Be safe!
Hi Gaz from a new subscriber and fellow RUclipsr from Gold Coast Australia!! I just came across this video in my YT feed and have given it a watch - really very enjoyable but suspenseful AF!! I'm so sorry that your camp site has been violated and your lost another trail cam but you certainly did the right thing by listening to your instincts and getting out of there. What a freaky experience. There sure are some shitty humans on this earth. I see this video is a month old - I'll definitely keep watching to see if you've found a safer campsite since this was filmed.
I share your feelings about supporting other channels. I've been thinking of doing shout outs in my community posts to help support other channels, and I've been putting other channels up on my main page to show who I'm proud to support. I'm still only small - a few weeks away from my 1 year anniversary on YT but I am more than happy to support how I can -and will do more as I continue to grow. it's a hard game and you're right when you say we're in this together. I don't talk in my videos but I do make community posts and can list other channels on my page so that is how I'm going to go about it.
I just went on over to the camping couple you suggested and subbed to show my support. They look like they have some really interesting stuff. I used to love camping - it was my happy place, but I have several chronic health conditions & my body just won't let me camp anymore, but I do enjoy watching camping videos to remind me of the feeling - so I'm happy to have found you here.
So far I haven't been offered any promotional stuff - I'd love to be offered accommodation (because I can't camp)in other locations so I can make videos to promote the hotel or whatever it is, and make my 4K walking videos during my time in those locations. I have big dreams for my channel - I've been at it full-time since day 1. I just have to be patient and keep at it. I want it to pay off too - I need it to.
I'll see you for another of your adventures- looks like you have some really odd & scary things happen while you're out minding your own business.
Best wishes Gaz from Gold Coast AUS
Welcome aboard
Ghost hunting but its just being afraid of random hikers you meet.
Always go with your gut instinct. The universe will look after you if you listen to it.
First time watcher. Enjoyed the vid, cheers
