I was worthless. A college dropout and then diagnosed with schizophrenia. I left home and became homeless. Nearly starving to death on the streets of San Diego. Homeless and psychotic and alone. But I wasn't alone. God was with me. And when my parents forsook me the Lord took me up. And He with the help of a faithful pastor turned a hopeless mental case into a preacher of the gospel. A precious sword in the hand of God. And He sat me down with the princes of His people. So who am I to say that anyone is useless. I am a sword without a sheath. And I know that the Lord can take something useless and make her into a beautiful sheath to cover me. To complete a poetic, romantic love story. Sounds pretty good but sometimes I wonder. But I know that God is able and that He is a good God. A mighty good God!
