if I had to guess, his CUS become more precise in narrowly missing to allow a bigger score bonus, and hitting more enemies with said CUS. given he missed a few ideal shots regarding bonuses, i'd say he'll prolly come back with an even higher.
At 3:46, how the heck do you do that, as in hit that really high Cruiser. You were able to keep the radar at that extreme angle without your Arwing moving a whole lot.
@@joshuahouse9970 does take a lot of time and knowledge to make a TAS though. Most TASes to my knowledge are just to show off how high of a score can be gotten/how fast the game could be played. So yeah, not really a show of skill. But they’re still fun to watch :)
KrohnIndustry damn I never read this bro lol, I just wanted to tell you that I never told you that the exploit button is by not locking on an enemy, basically do a charge shot without holding (Z and R together and you don't lock on) when a group of enemies get caught in the splash rate explosion of unlocked charge shots it doubles your points. I didn't want to tell you that to see if you was trying to pull a leg. :) If that was not what you was talking about then I don't know what else you could be talking about champion. Hope all is well.
Unfortunatly there aren't that many points in the level. Way the game works is you only get bonus points for enemies hit indirectly with your charged shots. If you are to watch this again you will notice that next to no enemies are actually hit directly by a charged shot. Heck you can probably count on your hand the number of points that are actually missed. Aside from a few exceptions pretty much every shot got the same number of bonus points as enemies that were killed. This is pretty much as topped out on points as you can get in this level. Also the counter tops out at 999 anyway so 1000 is actually impossible. Its possible to get 999 on solar by farming points off one of the boss's attacks. Also I don't know who would do this but you can technically play training mode as long as you have health and its possible to get 999 in training mode.
I just watched the video in slow motion. I counted only 1 enemy that got away and including that enemy there were 8 points he either didn't get or was not able to get even with TAS. (I did not even attempt to track the minefield at the beginning. Maybe there are couple extra points he could have missed but considering I get around 70-80 from the minefield when I play I dont expect any points he may have missed would be enough to make up the difference and bring this up to a 1,000)
No he got him with the charged shot shortly after when it was off screen. You can hear the Powerup/ring spawning sound effect as confirmation when you destroy that specific bunch of enemies in the triangle formation.
