I have one issue with your story . There is no sun inside of the time chamber , so training should only serve his saiyan side . In the time chamber , they should have trained to perfect super saiyan form 2 . Its as if you're rushing through the story and not taking time to develop the story enough to quell the questions of listening fans . Equally developing the saiyan and Kryptonian sides would make goku much more powerful and more of a balanced character.

Not very much since he's not like superman. 🤔 And I also think you overlooked the fact that Goku is a hybrid. Kryptonian and Saiyan. Compatible. That fact alone plus the sun should make Goku insane in terms of growth rate and power. I don't even have to mention Gohan. Who's half human, quarter Saiyan and quarter Kryptonian. He should be more powerful and have a faster growth rate than Goku.
