I’ve been very sick lately and it’s very cold. Grandpa-Sensei makes me feel very warm and comforted and gives me a lot of Christmas spirit with such a lovely reindeer!🎄❤

Grandpa Shibasaki, your art is so incredibly beautiful and inspiring. I love that you are using your amazing talents to help produce better art materials for the world as a whole. I do have one thing I'd like to note for you and your viewers. Please understand, I say this to inform, not to criticize. The deer you've drawn appears to be a whitetail or mule deer. A reindeer is the domesticated form of a caribou. They are nearly identical in appearance and genetics but the reindeer tends to be slightly smaller and lighter weight. I absolutely love reindeer and caribou. Thank you again for another amazing video. Stay safe during the cold and flu season ❤ and best wishes for your health and happiness.
Are these Art Crayons still crayons or have they become oil pastels? 🤔 Their colours are so pigmented and they have great layering ability that they suit Shibasaki-sensei's style so well. They blend nicely with fingers and are not too soft, so they can be used to draw small details. Is this the perfect crayons or what!? Art Crayons could even compete with Caran D'ache Neocolor range. I hope they become commercially available soon and with more colours!
These pastels appear to layer quite well. Which is difficult for most pastels to do without expensive sanded paper. Is it known what kind of paper sensei uses for his pastels?

テーブルに置かれたコップも『ガラス』ということだけでなく映り込んだ物の沢山の色がある。

今回もクリスマスを思わせるトナカイの絵を選んで下さった先生のなんて優しくて素敵な心なのでしょうと、大人になって忘れかけていた純粋なクリスマスの楽しみなワクワク感を思い出させて頂きました。ありがとうございます。
東北福祉大学で臨床美術士の講義を受けたときのお話をまたしてしまうのですが、その時のオイルパステルがとても柔らかく、滑らかで混色もスムーズで、同じ様に2つに折ってから使うオイルパステルでした。クレヨンとオイルパステルの違いも知らぬまま過ごしてきた私には、講義でパステルを全色折る作業が心も折れるのでしたが、折る理由もあって、そして重ね塗り、混色、様々な点が似ていて、手元にあったら使いかけでもお送りしたかった位でしたが、引っ越しなどで見当たらなくなってしまい、情報だけの広報になってしましましたね。
私がその時取った資格では、御老人に絵を描く事を教えるのでは無く、気分を紙に出す。色や形で感情や感動をあらわにすると言う美術でした。なんだかいつも同じオイルパステルの紹介を私から発信してしまうのですが、きっと現在の画材は、素晴らしく進化していると思います。
いつも私達の知らない画材や、画法、そして先生の優しい声と笑顔。
生活に疲れた時も、ホッとさせてくれる先生のチャンネルがとても癒やされます。
体調にはお気をつけになって、また次回の動画も楽しみにしております。
