- Cottage Country Muskoka lakes | America's Oldest Operating Steamship Cruises in Ontario Gravenhurst 4K Canada travel vlog
This cruise is located in Gravenhurst town in Ontario Canada.
Muskoka’s steamship heritage is older than Canada. The first ship steamed Lake Muskoka in 1866. In 2017, we marked the amazing RMS Segwun’s 130 year history. She is North America’s oldest operating mail steamship. Wenonah II, a modern interpretation of a traditional steamship, is named in honour of Wenonah, the first steamship to sail Lake Muskoka.
In 1887, long before the era of modern highways, the R.M.S. Segwun was built in Glasgow, Scotland, and assembled at Gravenhurst. The ship was originally a side paddlewheel steamer named “Nipissing II” and served as a connection - transporting passengers, mail, and freight from Muskoka Wharf in Gravenhurst to cottages, resorts and homes that were beginning to populate the Muskoka Lakes

it's been very good for the combination of videos and background music, keep on working, may God always bless us all😊😊
@@Mas-ir Thank you very much for your feedback. God bless!
You did a great job representing what Muskoka has to offer , born and raised in the area 4 generations, my great grandfather built Mactier, 45 minutes from Gravenhurst and my father worked on the Sagamo an old steam ship long gone, with the Seqwun the only one remaining, I remember as a child driving into Gravenhurst and seeing the rusted hull from the Sagamo abandoned on that rock in the bay.
Very nice tour, thank you 👍👍( Life In Flip Flops channel 🇨🇦)
Amazing! I didn't know about this ship. Now that I do I want to go for a cruise on it. Beautiful scenery. How long is the tour? It reminds me of the Island Queen from Parry Sound.
The tour takes about 2 hours, and definitely worth it! We really enjoyed it
Thank you for the amazing steamship cruises! Great video! Fantastic job!
Fantastic video and I hope you will show more of water and shore videos, with the beautiful houses ❣️🙏🥰
Thank you very much, will try to film more for sure
Is this the place where grown up movie was shot?
I'm not sure tbh
biển hồ và rừng cây phong cảnh rất đẹp ❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍
Its so peaceful quiet its very beautiful an ideal vacation area away if one is looking for that getaway
What a beautiful tour! Those houses on the small islands look so cool. Really loved this video. Thanks
Wow, what a beautiful tour! So cool that these steam ships have been operating since the 1800s. Gives you a nice glimpse into what it was like to traverse the country back in the day
When I was young I used to work on those ships and would shovel black rocks into a furnace. I have to quit because I was caught sleeping with the captains horse
Bro where is this place can you tell exact location I really want to go there !!! Wuv you 💖

Love from Bangladesh 👍👉🔔❤️🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩
Please stay there
Wow it's so beautiful i really like it amazing sharing thanks big like 👍
Thank you!
These huge homes remind me of Lake Winnipesaukee, NH USA aka "Millionaires Lake" because that is the cost to live on this lake. Beautiful lake this ferry ride is on with some amazing cottages.
This cottages are also very expensive, I don't think there is anything less than couple of million dollars. It is very prestigious cottage area for Torontonians and area
Land sold by the sq ft. $$$😊
👍❤
Wow, wow and wow.
Uhh, that would be Canada’s or at the very least North America’s because that’s where it is… in Canada 🇨🇦
You are right - it is CANADA, Town of Gravenhurst to be exact
@@lvfreeAdventures I know. I live in Gravenhurst. God’s country 😊
😍😍😍😍😍😍
👋👋👋👌👍
Nice video
Thank you Wan!
Goals but I can't imagine the monthly bills! Lol
I think their property taxes is the most expensive...
@@lvfreeAdventureson top of that too! Thoughts on buying land first then build, or buying cabin right off the bat
@@leensalocin I'm looking at buying land in one of unorganized townships... less overhead, etc. Still learning about it
@@lvfreeAdventures Nice. Thanks for the reply and good luck!
@@leensalocin Thank you, all the best to you
Watching this video with 100 bucks in bank account 😂
It is not what you have - it is all about how you feel! Live free and stay happy. God bless you 🧡
Beautiful lake the house so beautiful
My question: Where does all the sewerage go?
They have regulation and requirement to install Septic Tanks
As to the thumbnail , islands should have never been for sale . It takes away from the natural beauty of lakes .
