@@m2rtenA You get a certain amount of master points at the end of each game when you play a champion. Once you have like 14k mastery you get mastery level 4, if you keep getting more mastery points after that you should soon unlock mastery 7

so is it just not possible to hit rank 1 pyke only playing pyke? because you pick other champs like quiyana.
It is possible, but it would take so much longer, since you get banned/counterpicked and then you have to dodge or be miserable the whole game.
playing into obv counters and dodging every ban would make the climb twice as long and boy does pyke have counters
