Look super difficult I love my ninja pitcher system but why in the world would they make the handles susceptible to Gathering moisture and becoming an issue. Why not make the handle solid I truly don't understand that functionality part🤔🤔🤔

Thanks very much. Our handle was disgusting. Was tempted to throw the whole thing out but it seemed wasteful when the blender still works so well. Love how well it blends but will likely not purchase again due to this cleaning issue. As we were cleaning the handle (with the guidance of your video), I noticed we also have a crack developing at the top of the jar, unfortunately, so may end up having to dispose soon anyway sadly! So frustrating how everything is made to be disposable these days.

You dont need to press the button, and it's easier when you flip it over and pry using the same technique , however starting on the bottom.... Pops off with much less force

    This is Ed’s wife:
I’ve been looking at the building gunk in that handle for months and was so grossed out by it! I finally set to taking it apart today and got stuck after the screws, afraid I was going to break it! Your video showed the right steps and assured me it wouldn’t break! Thank you! 🙏🏻

OMG this is ridiculous. I can't believe there is no way to clean the disgusting filthy crud out of the handle without breaking it.

What about taking off the other 3 corners of gray plastic to clean in those other corners?

Awesome! Thanks for the video and reminder on not pulling too hard. I took mine off one section at a time with a butter knife. Worked great. Wedged it in there and only took about 20 seconds. 👍

This worked for me and gave me confidence that I would not damage the handle by prying, Thanks!

Oh wow, Just bought this and the handle! This is revolting and I’m highly allergic to mold, unsafe. And the troublesome cleaning? I should return while I can.

Would using clear silicone on the handle prevent the guck from getting in there?

I got this as a holiday gift and was so excited. I can't believe they made the pitcher with this design though. Water got in that part during the first washing, so I tried on my own to remove the part and couldn't figure it out. That's how I ended up here. Just a terrible design element in my opinion.

I just purchased a blender for 200+ I used it once washed it and there’s water in the handle already! To expensive to be taking apart and cleaning every use

I agree. I noticed this and was like wth after taking it out the dishwasher and seeing that gunk in there. It's still sitting in the corner. I'm pissed because I haven't had this one that long. I didn't notice that on the previous version I had.

Very helpful on how to clean the handles. As someone else posted (2 years ago) wondering if there is a trick for getting the other 3 corners off, those are disgusting too. Poor design.
