I don't think I've ever seen any other dog trainer change an aggressive dog behavior into a mild mannered loving dog as Dig Daddy! Most others will tell owners to euthanize them as they can't change.....imagine that! A dogs life is precious! God bless you Dog Daddy! ❤

Weird, the only time a dog is Fearful is BEFORE Augusto takes the Leash. With Augusto holding the Leash the dog feels a strong Leader and calms down. The POTENTIAL of that calm state is PEACE and the ability for the dog and his family to have more active and involved lives. It’s in the EVIDENCE in plain sight.
Yeah, I've been having some back and forth with someone in another comments section. That person calls him the Dog Dangler, claims that the dogs aren't aggressive and are just trying to get away from him. We each claim that the other doesn't see the obvious. He(?) sees abuse, I see correction and leadership. He sees a dog "shut down" after DD handles it. I see a calm and relaxed dog. Obviously we will not convince each other, so I won't reply to him anymore.
@@NavvyMom social media very rarely convinces anyone of another's arguments, be it dog training, politics, fitness, diet, history.. .everything! Most people just double down without ever listening or conceding even a small part. I guess we are all guilty of it to some degree. Face to face most of these arguments could probably be resolved... especially if you take a gun!! :)
@@AthelstanEngland You're right. Once in a while someone is swayed when the other person brings up things the first wasn't aware of, but generally it's exactly as you say.
I myself was swayed just last night about the Noem dog shooting that just came out in her book. My kneejerk reaction was that it was the liberals and dog nutters pouncing on a conservative. All the info I had was that it was her own dog that killed some of her chickens and then bit her. That was wrong, and when I heard more details, I was swayed to agreeing that she shouldn't have done it.
@@TeslaNick2 Oh hi, there you are! I said I wouldn't reply to you anymore because I truly don't see any point. Why is DD's correction bad but what dogs do to correct each other not bad? Or do you think a mother shouldn't correct a puppy, or an alpha a subordinate? The "swinging them around" you refer to is checking them as they are leaping at him attempting to bite. Is he supposed to let them bite him?

When you put up an example of working with a fear reactive aggressive dog, maybe then you can be taken seriously. Anyone can train a 10 week old pup with positive methods, these aren't.
Also I'll give you a chance to remove your comment accusing me of enjoying animal abuse. Libel is a serious issue. You can have differing opinions, but you've gone way past that.
The owners sitting in complete astonishment is all anyone needs to know about Dog Daddy... He does what NOBODY else can - he helps broken dogs become whole... No bribing with treats and wieners, just a coming together a man and a dog..
Anyone that has any sense and criticizing Dog Daddy’s methods after watching his technique and results and still criticize they’re jealous and feel they need to spout off because they can’t do as fabulous as he is.

AUGUSTO, I believe in you and what you do ! Without your direction and training, many people would feel they have no option but to surrender a dog they could not handle.
Then there would also be many more people that would be dealing with the consequences of a fear-based dog, lashing out.
There are so many dogs that would be euthanized as the person's ultimate solution .
Ignore the haters, keep helping the many people and dogs that truly need you !

No one can deal with a dog when you cannot get it's attention. DD gets their attention. He is not excessively mean or hurtful to the animal while getting doing so. Once he has their attention and has overcome their fear or extreme protectiveness he no longer needs to dominate. Allowing an animal to feel under control,of a leader is a good thing.
I’ve learned so much from DD one of the best trainers not just for dogs but also for the owners too with his no nonsense approach. The language that dogs understand. Keep up the great work my man. Love, respect and peace. From UK 🙏🏻❤️

You are the best I've ever seen at handling the difficult cases... not doubt. One bit of advice if I may from an older bloke.. me! Simply ignore the critics. Don't respond. You don't need to put up videos justifying. You don't need clickbait headlines. Many of those putting up videos criticising you are only doing so for RUclips hits (money). Stick to your principals. Know in your heart you are right. Leave the negatives behind. The dogs and owners need you.
The man is gifted with dogs. His methods work and he has saved dogs from being put down due to the owners misunderstanding.

I was at one of the training sessions as an observer. Those videos of him getting aggressive/reactive dogs calm and submissive within moments are not edited. It really did happen that fast. He does amazing work.

The ones hating on him are just jealous. He is the best trainer I have ever seen. He knows what instincts dogs have and so much more. He doesn't hurt any dogs what so ever.
If people would hire a trainer to help them pick the proper dog personality, breed, and size for their real life situation and the dogs needs, much of these drastic interventions could be skipped

I can not believe how many out of control dogs there are. All of us are lucky to have DD to take control and teach us where to begin with our dogs. We are horrible humans to have brought dogs to this behavior. Thank DD every day , he is a God sent angel for these dogs and owners ❤️

After watching numerous videos of Dog Daddy in action, I believe that I have a unique understanding and can speak to his methods of handling dogs that are aggressive !
I survived an attack at the age of 9 by a militarily trained German shepherd, as it went for my throat the force turned me over and he latched onto my neck. When I watch Dog Daddy in action my respect and admiration for this extremely Brave and knowledgeable young man is overwhelming!! I’m a senior citizen and Love and rescue dogs to this day and have never forgot being attacked myself so to those Na Sayers I will tell you to BE QUIET!! YOU ARE WRONG AND LEAVE THIS EXCEPTIONAL FELLOW ALONE !! HE IS SAVING DOGS AND HELPING OWNERS, I’VE LEARNED SO MUCH AND RESPECT HIM, AGAIN FROM EXPERIENCE.

DD understands that dogs are NOT people and should NOT be treated as such, they are a pack animal and regard people as the Alpha and will do anything that the Alpha wants them to do and that dogs want leadership, guidance and love....that is why they are man's best friend because they will do anything for the Alpha as they are the one's that give them what they need- instruction, leadership, guidance and love....Love being the most important as they can't get that through nature they only get that from the pack or the Alpha(you) in their life....God Bless You DD you know what it means to be an animal....
I've been watching you for roughly 1 year, you have helped so many dogs and owners with them, you firstly get the dog to calm down, then you work with them to give them the correct direction or training they should have had as young pups, these dogs are a testament to your work, don't listen to negative comments, you know what you are doing at all times, didn't realise you had a bite suit though, guess you need it in some circumstances circumstances

Dog Daddy is the only person I’ve ever seen take a seriously aggressive animal and in about ten minutes or less of changing the dogs attitude with consistent correction. Make them calm and approachable. Anyone bad mouthing him is just whining because they don’t have the skills to do the same, and get the results!!!

If you aren't going to be the leader of the pack, then don't own a dog. That property deserves better.
Why do people criticise ? DD is amazing . Why don’t people stop being jealous and slipstream into this amazing man’s abilities.
I use the same methods while training dogs. My last clients were panicked because one of their dogs viciously attacked the other and a trainer had told them that the only solution for their dogs is medication. Another trainer said that one dog will need to be euthanized.
With less than an hour long session with the family the issue has been resolved. A week later they sent me a video of their dogs relaxing together and playing.
Most trainers don't understand how these methods work. They should stick to teaching dogs to sit and stay. This is about rehabilitation. The only *training* I do is with the owners.

Perhaps DD should get testimonials from former clients from a ways back, as a sort of back dated research. Those dogs and their owners are the only true authority figures on whether or not his methods have worked, or caused harm. I am on his side all the way, and I understand much of this is PR, but I bet most would say he is doing what he promises, in a very effective way. Also, I have never seen or heard of any videos from former clients that slam him, only outside critics. Peace all, and keep it up DD. Those dogs and owners need you! 😀💙
