I felt that twitch. I had my calf tattooed a while back and I was twitching like crazy I almost started crying cuz the tattoo artist had to take small breaks every ten minutes😭 I tipped him 10€ for it tho😭

This is so interesting! I have a lot of tattoos and I would say my least painful was my thigh. I found my upper arm really painful especially near the arm pit area.
The upper arm is painful on the underneath mostly because there is less sun exposure which increases skin sensitivity. The outer part shouldn't be as painful though

He was the one telling me it’s no big deal, everyone deals with pain differently. I tipped him good because I felt bad and he tried giving me money back because he felt bad I was tipping so much. Kept going back to him though. Incredible artsit

Maybe it was bc it was my friend doing it who was still learning in her studio or because of the bones. Some tips if it's your first one and just general for the back, if you need a break just tell your artist, they'll be more than happy to also take one. Also some sort of stress reliever can help the pain, like a plushie or stressball. Though make sure to squeeze it with the opposite hand of the shoulder being tattooed. Make sure to wear a sleeveless shirt or really lose shirt, also one that you wouldn't mind if it got some ink on it. If you normally wear bras wear either no bra for a few days or strapless ones, maybe even nipple covers will just do the trick. It can be also a hard place to correctly cream so maybe get some help from a partner, friend or family member. I personally made sure I really scrubbed my back the day before, I then wore a loose wifebeater that was really old and a loose black shirt so the stains wouldn't be bad. I also ate something with carbs before the appointment. The healing process was easy too since I sleep on my side and my bf was here to help me put cream on the tattoo. Sometimes what does happen is that I forget I have a tattoo back there tho. 😂 Hope I was able to help and have fun when getting your tattoo!

At the age of 16, I let my friend practice tattooing on the bottom on my foot. The heel is by far the least painful. Just don't expect the tattoo to last very long 😅
I’ve gotten my chest done, a full sleeve done. I plan on getting another sleeve but I’ll tell y’all around the nipple hurts like hell, around armpits. My sleeve extends to a part of my shoulder towards my back and honestly there I didn’t feel a thing, painless as ever

I agree. The outside area of the bicep is probably the easiest for the client. For me as the artist I enjoy tattooing the forearms the most. Easiest for client positioning and doesn't hurt them much. Tight skin there, nice and flat

Surprisingly painful area but I did get a pretty large piece. If it had been smaller I think it would’ve been cake. Pain wise nothing comes close to the pain I felt getting my knees done. That was soooo rough. I’m still shocked that I went back and did my other after doing the first. If I had to do another knee tat I wouldn’t. It was BRUTAL. But the tiger and panther I got there looks dope. Now that I have both done I’m super happy I stuck it out but know I couldn’t ever again.
200% it was back of the calf. Depends on how close it is to the joints and central nerve lines, but my 15 min flash above my elbow hurt worse than the two hour one i had done on my calf

I fr didn't feel anything when I got my fingers tattoo'd. Like someone was tapping my fingers really fast, but no pain whatsoever

It actually depends on the person if he/she is used to getting tatoo if he/she is planning to get a tattoo for the first time then it will hurt so bad
