Controls the frequency of the oscillator with incoming MIDI pitch. 5:13 Two other sound sources. Noise (pink or white noise) and Feedback. Can get some awesome sounds (demos of this). 7:03 Load knob. Increases the gain of the sound. 7:26 Filter section. 4 filter types. MM, LP2 (2 pull lo pass), LP1 (1 pull lo pass) and BP (band pass) filters. The difference is the amount of hi frequency content they let through. 8:38 Contour knob. It controls the depth of the filter envelope. 9:05 Filter Envelope. REL (release) switch selects one of two modes. Turning up the Contour knob, the Filter Envelope is modulating the cutoff point of the filter. 10:39 Can change the polarity of the Contour. 11:02 Can control the cutoff point of the filter with the two KT switches. Great video, thanks for the overview! I've been meaning to start experimenting with Monark, seems like it's got some interesting possibilities, using the noise as a modulator source is a really interesting sound.
When I assign a parameter to my modwheel or touch strip in the VST, I can’t find a way to Unassign that parameter to the modwheel or touch strip. Any ideas how to fix this?
I luv that you took the time to share your knowledge of this great instrument but the voice speech to Monark levels are just so drastically different! You explain like you're telling a secret in the middle of church service, then the Monark examples audio blazes out like a train passing by my face! I just can't listen....
Nice job. I've been using Monark for a while and some of these switches were absolute mysteries to me. But no more!

Can anyone explain to me how I can set this ensemble up to have a pitch bend range of plus or minus 2?
