Hi Michael. The main reason for using the Port of Tyne at South Shields is because they have a large amount of land for parking the cars until they are ready for transportation. Also some of the cars are transported via road and train to be sent over to Europe. Also I worked part time as a car jockey for an agency which did I had finished my main job for the day, and this was to fund my holidays. My agency involved shuttling cars about at Nissan or the port of Tyne depending which depot required a driver. If you want to see how big the car storage area is just go on Google Earth and have a look at the Port of Tyne to check out the car parking area’s for the new cars. I hope this helps to give you a better understanding of the working of the Nissan industry and how it works. Regards Ian.
do you happen to have any footage of ferry port and surrounding area from dec 21st to now?luckie escaped off dfds ferry and we are trying to find him.have you by any chance got any footage of him on your videos?
Hi there. I have checked my videos of the areas in question and can see nothing to help you in your search. Most of my footage taken between the dates you are mentioned were take from the south side of the river Tyne. I will watch the news for any further information, and good luck to all involved in the search. Regards Ian.
The red car exiting the Aquarius Ace vessel is actually a taxi, transporting the drivers(usually 3 drivers per taxi) back to the nissan compound to collect the next cars to load.
If Nissan is located in Sunderland, why aren't Nissan cars exported from Sunderland
The cars made at Sunderland are exported to other countries including Japan. 👍
@@lip149 from which port are they exported?
