- www.balticaa.com Baltic Aviation Academy has received many requests on video showing cross-wind flight. Once again Pranas Drulis, ATPL Integrated student, shows how properly conduct take - off and landing in cross - wind circumstances on Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulator.
We miss you Pranas :(
***** He graduated so he stopped making videos for the academy
@Canonical *insert evil mortal theme here*
I wonder how he’s doing now, hope he’s having a good career.
This Boy Has Some Serious Skills To Educate All Trainee Students Pilots...
Pranas' videos are exactly what I want to see, nothing excess)
Cool, Pranas has done it.
You should do a water ditching... It would be pretty cool to see the procedures and also to see howling it would take someone to get it right
Really , This guy is going to get a best young pilot award ( if there is available ) :D
Hey hey hey dude i was the pilot of A320 named: cebu pacific but thanks for saying that one i understand!
I am gatting vast knowledge from this channel.
This guy gets to play with the coolest of toys!!
I love him! So cute! ❤
This lad certainly knows is stuff . Just wondering if he's a full time instructor.
AMAZING VIDEOS!!
I think one of the best landings I've experienced was in Brussels, on a rainy day, with strong wind
on a Boeing 737-400 from Jet-Air.
Just an impeccable landing. Especially since the flight from Brussels to Cyprus was on a A320 and the landing just
well lets just say I'm glad the pilot landed the plane the second time around but in my opinion he shouldn't have.
Glad I had xanax on me that day… Anyway.
Amazing
Question, i need answers pls. Why did you dc ap at 100above? What is the ideal ft to dc ap? Many degrees up did u do for flaring? Also was your speed managed by fmc? Sorry for the questions. Im trying to practice how to land this a/c at xplane and its really hard to get used to the flybywire of the airbus.
Hey I want to say thanks for making me want to be a pilot. I really want to fly planes and you guys make me want to. Is it okay to ask questions and hope you can reply to this comment.
Hey, are you a pilot right now after 8 years?
Nice vid. Would have liked to see side stick on landing.
Fantastic Thank you..
Why always before landing the aircraft take a left turn not a right one?
I noticed for the t/o he seemed to increase thrust normally to 50%, check stability and then full thrust. FCOM states you should use a different technique no? For crosswind t/o, throttles to 50% N1, as the engines are reaching 50%, then you increase to 70% and as they pass 50% you then engage flex/toga. Or in this scenario maybe the crosswind wasn't strong enough bother...
Yeap, you're absolutely right. That's what the FCTM states... I also noticed that he didn't move the sidestick forward (to load the nosewheel gear in order to be more stable during the rolling), but he did the unnecessary lateral inputs (I think he shouldn't, there's nothing about it in FCTM/FCOM)
check your FCOM take off with crosswind greater than 20 kts
Nice Pranas!
i like this type of video ,and i love aviation my wish to be a pilot
can you explain us how the pilots program the route they are going to fly ?
I would like to see a video with all the protection that airbus has.
Its been 7 years...
Can you do an autoland with that much cross wind?
pranas u are awesome!
can you show us how to shut down all engine and system?
what about Aoutobrake in the Landing!!!
Perhaps want to let go of the trustlevers after V1 till ACC alt..! If I would perform this 'properly conducted' take of without spooling the engines in two steps, full flightstick down in Xwind, I would have a pretty set of angry questions fired at me passing FL100 XD
Does somebody know which software he used?
Fresh Dumbledore CAE custom, provided by Airbus. Only for Pilot Training Use
Wow he's an ATPL student?? He looks younger than I am, and I'm 21!
During a takeoff in the A320 is good to apply slight aft pressure on the sidestick until 80 KT. In a crosswind, is it necessary to approach the runway a bit on the opposite side of the wind direction due to the rudder effect if you want to keep the center line.
What happens when crosswinds start as soon as the plane takes off?
Is this scenario studied in training?
+Luis Cañamar - no they just dont teach them a basic aspecg of flight.
Sorry man, you dont touch the manual trim when it is in flightmode unless you need to, and crosswind take offs doesnt require you to mess around with your THS. Just keep center line with your rudder and flightstick
Yeah ! that's true ...
Awesome!!!
What simulation software do you use like xplane fsx or what
nice picture
the autopilot correct for the wind when autolanding?
How else would an A320 be able to autoland, in 0 kts wind? Would be a pretty useless feature if it would not correct for the wind to automatically land on a runway....
TheMrdistocarajo why thank you for the complement :)
Yeah it does
Flaps 10 or 40?
It's the GPWS.
Is this a simulator
Gear up landing A320!
How do you arm the speedbrakes/spoilers on the airbus? I dont see him pulling the lever.
+XpertPilotFSX ground spoilers are armed so on reverse they will come out and on normal thrus they will retract
It is rather subtle. On the speedbrake lever, you pull the lever up from retracted to armed. Just watch an video of an Airbus landing and you'll see the pilot pull the lever up to arm the speebrakes.
+Raphael Jacob also on the takeoff roll they will deploy automatically if thrust is chopped on the ground
Pranis drulis are you Russian just curious. Are you becoming a pilot. And how often are you in those simulators. If you can reply to this comment.
How is a gumbo get land
wath mean minimums?
you hav3 to have sight of ghe runway
It's the lowest altitude you can descend to without a visual on the runway.
How long*
Interesant
Doesn't have to be on.
Is this kid even an instructor ?
Doesn’t seem like a good idea to land on an a320, you’ll probably crush it
haha! But seriously he said "crab" because there's no such thing as "crap" in aviation. :)
ابي طبلون مثل هذا علي سيارتي هههههههه
My boy if you do like this with me in real flight I’ll give you a priority left😂 You should’ve retarded the levers earlier and started to decrab earlier and slowly! Remember in real flight the wind is never steady! It’s always gusting! Take care
Frf
Clean this crap
So! I would rather have him flying than you!
3:29 is tht a fucking dog barking in the background,,
According to the A320 FCTM, during a crosswind takeoff ( crosswind > 20kts) routine use of into the wind aileron is not necessary. It is however, required to maintain sidestick full forward until 80kts.
Is this a simulator
+CranioUomo are you an idiot? i mean my god
CranioUomo lol sorry about that i didnt know my bad bro :) plez dont get mad at meh
+Adan Alspektor no prob lol
I love the sound when aviation gas on!
Hey Pranas, could you make the videos with both PF and PNF please, this is a A320 not a Cessa or Warrior. If you could do it that way, it will be much more interesting especially with the proper callouts, FMA read outs, C/L readings and CRM techniques.
Pranas drulis is the specialist of boeing 737 and A320.. Why not 747, 757,777.. And A330, A340, A380 ??
god!my eyes!
having in mind that is an official video i think more care should be take about explanation ... also this is a multi crew aircraft ..... i sure it can be done perfect with care on some details...
Love the vids you make
there is crab, what r u talking about?
you always crab into the wind
terima kasih staaf pelajaran ini
Its the GPWS. my god...
Can i use differential braking?
Does autopilot correct for crosswind itself?
No
yes the autopilot does the max crosswind landing for an auto land is 20kts tho so you leave the automation in gusty conditions until minimums on another note we rarely do autolands only in fog or other conditions because it requires so much equipment and conditions
15kts when you use auto-rollout with sharklets :)
no spoilers?
are you a dog?
