I feel that when I was in college and before I could remember my dreams a lot more vividly, but now I spend more time "in the moment" in reality and spending THAT time as best I can with my children, growing business, etc. I don't really have to fall back to remembering dreams because, in the end, they don't matter. What matters is now.
"Leaving money on the table" resonates with me - I always say "I leave a lot of money in my inbox" because I pass on so many opportunities and things that are just not a true fit for my website and brand.
Gary I dreamt about you last night. We were buddies. You grilled me on my excuses. I don’t remember many of my dreams so this is significant. Thanks for being everywhere in my life. Let’s be friends outside of my dreams!
QOTD: Very few. But the ones I do remember are very vivid and creative. I hear you on the difficulty of the greater picture at hand- creative portion on the execution!
#QOTD I remember almost all of my dreams. To me Dreams are the brains what of "Punching us in the Face" sometimes when we really need it. I've had dreams that showed me something I need to be executing on, or something I wasn't facing in terms of my mentality.
5:08 to 5:21 : "Understand the psychology and salesmanship it takes to create a narrative to the end consumer that you target that predicates an action for them to purchase something that you want to happen." #BAM #perfection
#QOTD Maybe 50-75%. Lately, I have been having really interesting dreams, so I spend the first 5-10 minutes of my day thinking about them, analyzing them, and trying to make sense of them. Because I think about them, they stay with me. When I don't think about them I loose all memory of them.
There are different kinds of dreams, the ones where you are just processing daily emotional life, random surreal 'stories' and then you can have the significant dreams where your subconscious is plugged into the human myth machine and it tells you something very significant, you tend to remember those dreams ;)
QOTD - I think I remember about 1% of my dreams. Funny how most of them involve women :/ This was a fantastic episode! I know this because it really seemed like it was 3 minutes but was actually over 13. Great job my dude! Thanks as always for all your time and effort! Yours, B.S.
#QOTD ...3~4 times a week. The dreams usually revolve around me discovering, then exploring (imaginary) areas I didn't know existed here within the Portland metro area.
#QOTD: Depending how vivid the dream(s) was/were. I try to write it down if I felt moved by it or it provided me with an answer I've been looking for. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there (US specific :))! #mothersday #keepondreaming
Yea, after you figured out how many dreams we have in a night, I would say around 1-2%, but most of the time it’s like right when I wake up and then I forget about it.
***** totally agree on your "hardcore capitalist" opinion on governmenr agencies and incentives!! QOTD: It really fluctuates a lot so some weeks I remember all of them and some weeks none.
High energy going into the weekend, man! =D Probably remember more dreams than I would have thanks to the dream journal by my bed. I can usually recall and document 5 or so dreams per week. Percentage wise I'd have to guess that's maybe 5%. Here's a brief summary of the 5 latest entries in the journal: 1) Penguins sliding on a bridge. 2) Two cops discussing circumcision. 3) Eric Cantona (a french football/soccer player) makes comeback announcement. 4) A rocket propelled lawnmower flying around in my apartment. 5) Mila Kunis swallowing a whole cat. Have a kick-ass creative weekend peeps! =D
QOTD: When I do dream I remenber at least 75% of them. I still remember dreams I had when I was 5 years old. I gauge the quality of my sleep on the ability of dreaming, recently i haven't been dreaming much so I have work on improving my sleep. *****
QOTD Response: When you first asked the question, I recalled having read somewhere that we have many dreams each night. I assume, since we tend the forget so many of the details of the dream that woke us up, that it may only be the last one that we have any chance of remembering. Since I can only remember some portion of maybe 10% of the dreams that I try to remember, if we dream maybe 5 times per night, I guess that means around 2% tops. By the way, Gary, you seem to be looking thinner than before, so to see if I was right, I went back to Episode #1, from 10 months ago.... nope, it wasn't my imagination... you're lean & mean. Mike's earnin' his keep! ;)
QOTD Response: I try not to dream. Because when I think about something that isn't there, I stop thinking about that, and start thinking about how I can actually make it happen.
QOTD I don't remember many dreams. I think if I had to put a number on it, maybe 1%. Most times I don't even remember dreaming in the morning when I wake up.
#QOTD : honestly I remember them only on nights that I remember them, meaning that most of the time I don't remember but if a night I've had like 12, I most likely will remember them all in the morning lmfao but they usually vanish within 10mins
Gary, I've been following you since 2009 and have used and evangelized your advice in the government space many times. There are tons of people hustling and doing amazing, innovative things in #socialgov and #civictech. What happened to the GaryVee that spoke at Gov 2.0 Expo in 2010? You should really spend some time hanging with us who are working in the trenches to improve the citizen experience.
#QOTD: To get a percentage, I divide the number of dreams I recall by the total number of dreams and multiply the result by 100. The total number of dreams would be the number of dreams I recall added to the number of dreams I *don't* recall, but since I don't recall them, I can't know how many there were. Impossible to answer. Maybe it's 100% and I don't dream that much. Maybe it's 1% and I don't recall that much.
Mark Ryan Yes due to RUclips being able to handle it via the Variable Bitrate. I've noticed the difference in videos when I use the lower Consistent Bitrate than a higher one n the quality and someone I know doing a video podcast is going in high on their content and it is perfect.
Mark Ryan I noticed the high quality in the video and ive noticed in the last few episodes it seems to have been better than in the past... though there was an odd depth to feilf the other day where everything seemed blurry except Gary...
Ruth Carter I remember most of mine, but lately I haven't been having as many of them, because I think that I'm executing enough to where my brain doesn't need to give me that "punch in the face".
QOTD: Let's go to the niche of dreams where I'm still in g** d*** college all those years ago: 100% - and I wake up in a cold sweat every time. What a waste.
QOTD: If you don't recall them, then you wouldn't know how many of them you recall. LOL! If you keep a dream journal, it will help you remember your dreams. It's funny that I watched this because last night I dreamed that I worked for you!
#QOTD: How many dreams do you remember in the morning? zero to 3 dreams roughly... well my dreams tend to bleedover into each other so zero to one.... and the no dream days suck... im not sure why but they suck!
I just googled... www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=how%20many%20dreams%20do%20you%20have%20a%20night it says 3 to 5 on avg some have up to 7.... Interesting... from my childhood I recall there being stuff about dreams occur in seconds even though they feel much longer... Hrmm...
#QOTD I remember around 10% of my dreams at the very moment I wake up, if I don't note them within a few minutes I remember 0% by breakfast. PS my real comment is over on the FB.
I remember 2 dreams I had last night. If you have kids my friend is writing a book that introduces children to the benefits of Lucid Dreaming. www.kickstarter.com/projects/gnfdreams/the-good-night-fairy-helps-via-change-her-dream

You are a great human being GaryVee. Keep it up, Ill keep listening. #MP
#QOTD I recall a good amount of my dreams. However however I only recall them for seconds...LOL
A high percentage actually. Maybe 40%...I have very vivid dreams and can recall them as soon as I wake up most of the time.
#QOTD ...3~4 times a week. The dreams usually revolve around me discovering, then exploring (imaginary) areas I didn't know existed here within the Portland metro area.

Yea, after you figured out how many dreams we have in a night, I would say around 1-2%, but most of the time it’s like right when I wake up and then I forget about it.
Hahaha good question... Who the hell knows!?!? I dream walking in NYC streets a lot, hope to be back there soon.
I don't dream.I respect you and all you do .
I go in phases of dreamless nights then consecutive lucid dreams. Percentage wise? Maybe 8-10% as I recall one or two on a lot of days
I remember bad dreams more than good. I'm pretty sure I remembered more dreams when I was younger
I was waiting all episode to see what you were going to do with that bottle of wine...!
QOTD: I remember one or two of my dreams each morning. Sometimes I'm quite relieved to wake up and find out they were just dreams!
QOTD: Great question. I'd say 1% or so. Probably smaller. I actually want to try writing more of my dreams down and learning how to lucid dream.
***** totally agree on your "hardcore capitalist" opinion on governmenr agencies and incentives!!
QOTD: It really fluctuates a lot so some weeks I remember all of them and some weeks none.
Dmv comment also reminded me of Robert Kiyosakis book "why A students work for C students and why B students work for the government"
I've always measured the success I have in life with the amount of people that show up to my funeral also. We are 2 of the same Gary.
QOTD: i almost remember all of my dreams i have been sketching and writing them up in my dream book after waking up ;)
MacieksKunstChannel That's the way to do it!
Normally I don't remember my dreams in the morning, unless I only hit a light sleeping mode.
Some nights I might remember up to 3 dreams, most nights none. It has to be less than 5%.
Ethics are such an important component to business #askgaryvee
You seem a lot more chilled out today Gary haha
QOTD: probably 1
Carl Stacey Yeah! I like the energy though
Best Ending so far D Rock and very few.
High energy going into the weekend, man! =D

I remember very few of my dreams unless they involve ham...which is to say, I remember about 3 dreams a night.
QOTD: When I do dream I remenber at least 75% of them. I still remember dreams I had when I was 5 years old. I gauge the quality of my sleep on the ability of dreaming, recently i haven't been dreaming much so I have work on improving my sleep. *****

Low percentage, 5%, but the ones I do remember are insane.
#QOTD I remember 30% of my dreams, but most our vague. I only remember about 10% vividly.
QOTD Response: I try not to dream. Because when I think about something that isn't there, I stop thinking about that, and start thinking about how I can actually make it happen.
qotd: very, very few. My qotd: how can we win that bottle of Quintessa ***** ??
🍷🍷🍷😂😂😂
#QOTD : I remember very very few of my dreams, maybe 5%. But I do find that I remember them better if I talk about them asap or write them down
*QOTD* I would say I recall about 15 percent of my dreams. I am a dreamer!
QOTD I don't remember many dreams. I think if I had to put a number on it, maybe 1%. Most times I don't even remember dreaming in the morning when I wake up.
Maybe 1% - I can't even remember the last time I remembered a dream.....
#QOTD : honestly I remember them only on nights that I remember them, meaning that most of the time I don't remember but if a night I've had like 12, I most likely will remember them all in the morning lmfao but they usually vanish within 10mins
COOOL BasketBall Video
Based on India´s numbers, I would say that I remember about 10% of my dreams after waking up.
I would say 3% for about 1 a mon. The amount of caffeine I drink most likely effects it
3:10 What gets me are investments and making money. The State says you can gamble, play the lottery, invest in stocks but hedge funds? Nope.

Luke Stowe Gov't usually helps the most by getting out of the way. Defense, roads, police, fire, delivering mail, that's where we need them.
Reading Through History You need mail? ;-)
are you using a new camera?
#QODT Mostly 70%,can actually jog back and forth like a movie
#QOTD: To get a percentage, I divide the number of dreams I recall by the total number of dreams and multiply the result by 100. The total number of dreams would be the number of dreams I recall added to the number of dreams I *don't* recall, but since I don't recall them, I can't know how many there were.
Impossible to answer. Maybe it's 100% and I don't dream that much. Maybe it's 1% and I don't recall that much.
Great Show!
What kind of camera and compression so you use to get stuff so clear?
Mark Ryan He's likely not transcoding when possible and doing a Consistent Bitrate of 10 or higher with a VBR 2 Pass.
Roberto Blake Thanks...Big file!
but loads fast ?
Mark Ryan Yes due to RUclips being able to handle it via the Variable Bitrate. I've noticed the difference in videos when I use the lower Consistent Bitrate than a higher one n the quality and someone I know doing a video podcast is going in high on their content and it is perfect.
Roberto Blake Good Info Roberto...Thanks!
Mark Ryan I noticed the high quality in the video and ive noticed in the last few episodes it seems to have been better than in the past... though there was an odd depth to feilf the other day where everything seemed blurry except Gary...
Like 5% unfortunately.
I think the timestamps are wrong.
I almost never remember my dreams - less than 1%
Ruth Carter I remember most of mine, but lately I haven't been having as many of them, because I think that I'm executing enough to where my brain doesn't need to give me that "punch in the face".
I recall, like truly recall about 1%.

Government comments on point, not just coming from a capitalist view

may 1 a week or 1 a fortnight...
#QOTD: Rarely remember dreams. Probably once every yellow moon.
#QOTD Well, after hearing that we have about 4-6 dreams each night..... I'd say maybe 1%...?
#QOTD 3%
#QOTD: I would say less than 5%
#QOTD Probably around 1-3% but don't quote me on that :P

Very few. Bout 1./. ?
Question of the day: probably a fraction of a percent.
QOTD: I said 1%
TBT.... I don't see the point of writing any comments because I really do not believe you read them. Maybe you do on twitter, but not youtube.
