- Today we’re making your favorite experiment from Lilo and Stitch… STITCH!
We’ll go over the design process and how it’s IMPOSSIBLE to color match sometimes, prototype our alien friend, and make the finished plush art piece all in time for the spooky season!
And as an extra special spooky season surprise, I’ll be doing a plushie giveaway! It starts as of uploading and ends in exactly a week! I have a stitch plushie from Disney but this one looks way more fluffy/huggable 😍 maybe I could make mine weighted lol since I can’t sew, fingers crossed I don’t butcher it.

My favorite two sentence horror story is titled "Monsters under the bed", Basically a kid asks his dad to check under his bed for monsters, then the dad looks under and sees the kid who says "Theres a monster in my bed".

I canNOT believe how talented you are wow I’m obsessed! Been trying to make my own plushies since I love them but dang it’s hard 😩 My favorite 2-sentence horror story would probably be the one that’s like “i woke up to knocking on my window. Or I thought it was my window until I heard it from my mirror.”

On the note of fur fabrics setting off your allergies, im sorry if this is something you’re doing already (because its not visible in ur video) but you definitely have to wear a mask to work with faux furs! That fur definitely gets up in literally ANYTHING

I do not wear a mask while working with fur because of both sensory issues and what I’m pretty sure is undiagnosed POTS. (It’ll be a bit before I can get an official diagnosis) I used to try to wear a mask for it but it made me overheat waaaay faster and made me feel like I was going to pass out at my desk.😅 (apparently my body can’t handle even just sitting up for too long!)
So then it’s deciding between feeling like passing out (sooner than usual) and having brain fog for the rest of the day or dealing with allergies. I just try to blow my nose frequently and take allergy meds when I remember.😅

The only reason that worked without it looking awful was because his fur hid it all so well! I definitely wouldn’t recommend doing this for a plush you’re going to keep like that and cuddle, but it works well for a quick photo shoot!😁💛

He forgot the shine in the eyes 😂
Nope! No forgetting! That’s for two reasons! 1. I wanted pitch black voids for eyes on this guy to really accentuate the creepy cute vibes! And 2. Because of the type of fabric the eyes are made out of, adding the white shine to the eyes would either not look great in the case of appliqué or risk the small amount of fabric I had in my embroidery machine (which can mess up this kind of fabric if I’m not careful!)
Over all, choosing to not add the glare was right for me and this project and I LOVE how it turned out! If you like glare/shine on eyes like this, I encourage you to go out and try and make your own unique stitch plushie! I love when I can inspire people to start sewing and whatnot!😁💛
But stitch has shine in the eyes it still looks good I just think it needs shine sorry my name is Willow by the way Wanna be friends?❤
