You need to look into Dr. Lori, she is AMAZING! She also has a website set up and helps people out with the pricing. I think you are over looking some gems! Just offering a place to go and double check. Love this haul, would love some of those pieces. Blessings, Fran
I'm very familiar with Dr. Lori. I've been watching her for quite a long time. I do like the videos and she definitely shares some good information. There's part of the videos that I dislike as well, particularly the over-confidence and rosey valuations she gives. I don't like "insurance replacement values" that give the appearance that items are far more valuable than they actually are. So half the items she appraises end up being quite junky, some are middle of the road that are heavily over-valued, and then a few good pieces that I enjoy and have great value. I always give props to creators for whatever they put up on RUclips though. Thanks
I was living vicariously watching your jewelry haul. LOL!! I found ZIPPO jewelry this week. Most of the garage sales on Friday cancelled due to imminent rain. I found one set of Fire King Jadeite nesting mixing bowls for $2 the entire day. This estate sale was amazing. Overall what great prices! Great sterling pierced basket for $3! The shell cameo bracelet is very pretty; hope that you do well on it. That 1915 sterling bracelet was so unique; you've got to do really well with it too. So GREAT to get a video from you because I always know that you are going to find fabulous jewelry. Thanks!
Make sure you don't miss the actual stick pin (that sticks in the clothing when you wear it). I have found some pieces with real tiny, tiny makers signature on the pin itself. The one's I have that have the maker name on the pin is very hard to see, but you can feel the letters which is how I found the name of mine!
Take a second look at the pin in your hand at 6:35....I'm 99% sure I saw a mark in an oval at the end opposite the pendant bail on the back. I think you have something there !!!
I'm so happy, it's the first time I have ever seen a piece that I have, a Monet . it's exact but newer looking, so I'll try to find more Monet this spring.
If u can say what u think you can sell it for that would help me I’m fairly new at this I open jars...love it but I still need to list what do u do if u can’t find any info on a piece?
I was a picker for my moms antique store for years. she retired and closed. I want to pick but have someone else list on e-bay any suggestions on finding someone?
What I was told by some true professionals, was that you have to completely max out what you can do on your own. Similar to starting any kind of trade. Grow on your own until you can afford to legit hire an employee, with all proper licensing and stuff. Thanks
What will you use to remove the corrosion on the lovely shell camaro bracelet? Wow, you paid so little for the 14kt earrings & the 18kt rope bracelet. Amazing! Many nice pieces.
I think a little soap in some warm water, a toothbrush, and some elbow grease will do. Most of the gold is all sold now, along with the pocket watch and the large gold filled bracelet from last week. Thanks for watching!
Glad to see you posting again :-) You always get decent stuff and Marie is in sync with your taste so we watch your videos together. Also, I like how you are not afraid to spend a little more for the better stuff :-)
Yeah flexing the bankroll a little on this one. It's all good quality at good prices. I know how few and far between good sales can be so this will keep me busy for weeks. Thanks for watching.
Yep, it's getting harder and harder to just randomly come across decent jewelry lately. Anyway, no problem. You're videos are way up there on my list of favorite RUclipsrs that I watch :-)
The jewelry market is being good to me right now. Buying hand over fist as garage & estate sales start to ramp up for summer. Going out tomorrow morning for some sales, hopefully some deals. Already recouped my investment on this one. Looking forward to some buying tomorrow and maybe Saturday, then listing on Sunday. Good luck out there.
Thanks :-) It's the opposite here, but there's so much competition for anything good, especially jewelry wise, it's ridiculous. We've been listing more unusual jewelry on Ebay though. Not so much the easy stuff, like signed or silver or gold. Fortunately there's always something to buy and Marie has a good eye and we've been selling. Anyway, good luck this weekend :-)
This was another fluke sale. It was like 50+ miles from home, and there were tons of heavy duty dealers there including some who watch my channel. Lots of antiques, high quality audio equipment, tons of hot wheels, you name it. All 50+ people in front of me rushed into the house, and I stopped at the whole jewelry table by myself. I know they got good stuff on the inside of the house, but I got my pick of the jewels.
I'm curious, I just found your ebay account. Is it accurate that you only currently have 3 items listed? I'm brand new to all of this. Is ebay the best place to find you stuff for sale? Thank you, Gary
Yeah that's all that's up right now. I only listed for a few hours on Sunday and had around 10 items up, but most have sold already. I work full time at my regular job, so going picking, doing a video, and listing takes a lot of my time when I'm off. Thanks
Oh no i broker a bracelet cause ir was so ugly, but i realized i shouldnt have done that. You have hice stuff, am glad i bought jewerly jars from goodwill.
All of the stones listed above are considered Semi-precious. Precious stones are diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, topaz, opal and a few more I can't think of off hand. These gems are typically set in gold or platinum.
Wooooooooahhh dude I could never spend that much but wow you got such good pieces the old ones would b hard for me to sell man I'd want to wear them aha that Thumbnail one is gorgeous. What do u suggest if stones are missing like where s a good places to get some, to replace
The best way I've found is ebay -> advanced search -> show items from seller -> thrifthunter4you. I have posted links before, and I think there's one on my channel page. Not much listed, and I price things high at first. Thanks
I use various websites and comb through the listings to look at which ones have jewelry and are close enough to be worth driving to. Most listings have pictures, look for pieces that make an impact on you and appear quality. Then I try and search around and see if any have sold on ebay/etc.
Yes, it’s a picture frame that has 687 stamped on it. Took it to gets wrapped and they didn’t take anything under 800. But the guy told me it was a number from Germany. Thanks for replying and keep up the good work.
Thank you thrift hunter for all your knowledge. Because of you I picked up 80 grams of Sterling Silver Today for Only $4.00 I Been going to yard sales for 20 years!!! God Bless You!!!
The one 'ORNATE' Thimble is from 'Our Lady of Fatima' Basilica. I would LOVE to have that one!!!! And some of the earrings seem like JUNK, but the other stuff, like the 'Bracelets', JACK POT!!!!
Yes the lion mark is English sterling standard. It's this specific type though there are some silver plated pieces that use a lion type mark that looks different to fool people.
Not necessarily. Lots of glass pearls are sold in Majorca. Don’t forget it is a European tourist area and lots of items are specially made for tourists !!!!!
i have found a couple of pictures that i spent 3.00 got about 100.00 for each..now i have a "harry lane" opium smoking pipe monkey..in corner of his floral oil paintings..one similar trying to get 3,000.00......i paid 4.00 hope to get 300.00
You need to look into Dr. Lori, she is AMAZING! She also has a website set up and helps people out with the pricing. I think you are over looking some gems! Just offering a place to go and double check. Love this haul, would love some of those pieces. Blessings, Fran
Just looked at the date...lol I think Im late for the party! lol

The little green earrings that you didn’t separate and snow looked to be malachite.
2:40 the flower is an orchid with enamel. 4:09 check to see if this is coral not plastic. just in case.
Sorry you’ve been sick I do hope you feel better soon
First time watcher! I will return. I have a few pieces like the ones you have shown. Good finds!
Thanks for watching I appreciate it !

The silver basket was made in 1911 by Cornelius Saunders & Francis Shepard, in
Birmingham - c.1890s-1930s (CS FS).
Perfect saved me the time. Thanks coinpicker, need to see some more videos from you my friend.
Awesome help!
It is an orphan, as well. This was probably part of a table centerpiece which had the baskets hanging from davits.
How would you clean up that cameo bracelet??
I'm so happy, it's the first time I have ever seen a piece that I have, a Monet . it's exact but newer looking, so I'll try to find more Monet this spring.
Fantastic jewelry haul. Hope u get to feeling better
How would you clean that cameo bracelet?
The bracelet is damascene, Made in Toledo Spain.
Yeah that's what it was, toldeoware. Thanks

did you get your money back?
What will you use to remove the corrosion on the lovely shell camaro bracelet? Wow, you paid so little for the 14kt earrings & the 18kt rope bracelet. Amazing! Many nice pieces.

Love love the floral gold trafari necklace
How do you manage to buy all that you do buy with the many jewelry pickers out there on a regular basis?
It's just me. I have learned over time. Find a good deal, buy it all.
Depends where you live. Florida is a paradise for all sorts of antiques.
Glad to see you posting again :-) You always get decent stuff and Marie is in sync with your taste so we watch your videos together. Also, I like how you are not afraid to spend a little more for the better stuff :-)

How much for the English sterling silver basket?

Have you ever turned in German 687 Sterling silver? I can’t find anybody to take it. The piece I have is close to 18 ounces. Thank you
What is German 687? Something marked German silver is plated.

Silver Today for Only $4.00 I

WOW on the thimbles!
That corrosion on the cameo bracelet once cleaned off the metal will be pitted. Never buy jewelry with heavy corrosion.
I really like that 18k bracelet. Can you give me more info on it?
I can't believe someone is happy to get Monet, Trifari, Weiss, etc.. I hate that stuff!
You know that there are some pieces by those designers worth more than $500 right?
Nice pieces and I know a lot of people who like items like that.
I love estate sales. I often go on 50% day. Mainly because I can’t get out of work on fridays.
The one 'ORNATE' Thimble is from 'Our Lady of Fatima' Basilica. I would LOVE to have that one!!!! And some of the earrings seem like JUNK, but the other stuff, like the 'Bracelets', JACK POT!!!!
I didn’t know you can sell damaged pieces??
the longines is cool get it fixed then you could sell it for a few hundred dollars maybe even more. you found great stuff
Where do you go?

Yes the lion mark is English sterling standard. It's this specific type though there are some silver plated pieces that use a lion type mark that looks different to fool people.
thanks so much!
Thanks
I really liked the 1915 piece!
Nice
Those watches and pocket watches are very interesting. Let me know if you're looking for a buyer

Do you hav a store? An chance i can buy from you.
I have a store on Ebay, but it will take me at least a month to get everything listed. Just be on the lookout under thrifthunter4you.
I'll be on the lookout too thrift hunter.
First off, was the Christmas tree pin listing a buy it now or was that an auction ? The Weiss with the broken pin is a fake, the quality is not there.
History....n a lot of them

I used to be that way too. Best find this week was for $1. Estate sales are more pricey and require more dough. Thanks
