I love AeroBarrier, but even 5 air changes every hour seems really high for an efficient home. That's all of the air in your house escaping every 12 minutes and all new air needs to be heated or cooled. I'm glad you're doing this on an older house and keeping it alive for the next generation so kudos to you! Too little air changes and you need an ERV. edit: of course then I listen to the end of the video and hear 3.5, that's even better! I don't think you could ever achieve that manually with caulk and foam. That mist just gets in everywhere, it's a great product.
