Seems like it bc the animatronics aren’t that scary and they don’t really have an ominous feel to them like in the previous games. At least that’s how I feel anyway lol
I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that Monty replaced Bonnie, and Freddy was close with Bonnie. Maybe it makes him resent Monty a little...
I didn't play Security Breach until after the major fixes and changes. I am so glad they fixed this whole "no more saving" nonsense. They fixed a lot of things but that was a HUGE one. I probably wouldn't have bothered getting to the secret ending if they didn't. Watching Markiplier go through this is giving serious "he suffered so you don't have to" vibes.
@@michaelbuckers Ah, yes. So the solution to make it less of a borderline chore is to make it an ACTUAL chore to complete it by making you do the same stuff over and over and over again if you make even the smallest mistake, losing hours of progress each time. Having no access to saving does make it more difficult to complete as any little mistake sets you back to 0, but it also makes it IMMENSELY more frustrating. It's a cheap, easy, copout solution. There are MUCH better ways of adding difficulty without locking you into hardcore mode. Add new threats, make animatronics more ubiquitous, or more tenacious. Have some hiding spots be destroyed. Give freddy recharge booths a long cooldown, or make them one time use until you reach certain milestones, or increase his power drain. Changing the mechanics in such ways makes players play differently. Change their tactics. Removes safety rails or introduces new hazards to make it easier to fail, allowing the player to make new mistakes and learn from those mistakes to overcome these challenges. That's where the fun of difficulty actually comes from. Removing saving is just punishing. Any little mistake will lose you hours of progress. This doesn't increase difficulty in a fun way where you can learn from mistakes, it just makes those mistakes you do make hurt more. That's not fun. That's just frustrating. You can change how the game works and increase the difficulty with new mechanics or tweaking existing mechanics and actually make the difficulty work and be FUN. But all of these solutions require more work to implement, or in the very least requires more playtesting to balance properly. Hardcore mode just requires the devs to flip a switch. It's a cheap, lazy, copout solution that just makes the game more frustrating.
Yeah, this game still feels like it's in beta. There's too many obvious mess ups occurring on Mark's playthrough that should've easily been caught during play testing.
Maybe this game actually is one if not the last and they just hyped it up and overpriced it for the revenue, to make a clean cut with some nice stacks of profit. Only time will tell if they'll actually fix this absolute mess of an unoptimized game.
This playthrough has just highlighted how incredibly stupid removing the save function is EDIT: I know you can re-enable saves with the bot head but thats an unintentional glitch and doesnt excuse the poor game design
@@snowkittten They probably did it so they could preserve the ending choice mechanic, but there were far far better ways to do that. The way its made rn feels mostly like a developer feature, and it probably is just a cleaned up dev feature.
I have to Agree, Disabling it, when one wrong move can set you back so far is just really punishing. I get some games like to make it challenging but this seems abit much specially considering how there is bound to be ALOT of secrets hidden away
If you want to enable saving, go to Roxy’s Raceway and get the staff bot head again. It’ll say you’re back at 5am but the game is still treated like the 6am post game so you can get all the endings etc…
"The only reason I got upset when I got jumpscared wasn't because I was surprised, it was because I lost progress. And had to keep playing this confusing game. Over and over and over..." -MatPat, from GT Live.
It's their way to artificially jack up the game's difficulty. Instead of making meaningful content and challenges and making you actually scared of the scary robot killers, they just say "Don't die because you'll have to play the last hour and a half for the fifth time, and we'll make you do it till the tenth time"
@@grimsladeleviathan3958 It's funnier when you realize these same people are responsible for the VR game, which was actually scary, and wasn't unfair. It's just got us all asking, what the hell happened?
To be fair, this is the first attempt at a FNAF game like this, and its not like the VR game where everything is a one off game, theres more to go wrong here. Also, the game is no-save after 6am to make it harder. Your in veteran/expert/survival mode after 6am.
You can save after the "6am" mark, by doing a time skip bug/glitch/feature, by going to the foxy raceway and grabbing the robot head again, it'll make the time go back to 5:15, but won't actually mess the game up in any sense other than making it so save points and charge stations are working.
it seems you're frustrated about not being able to save... you can go back to Roxy's Raceway and jump onto the tracks to trigger the cutscene with the S.T.A.F.F. bot head to re-enable saves! i had to do this when i played, the decision not to be able to save is baffling
@@Galacticinvader7 it would be better if it was temporary, like the 6 am segment, or the dj music man segment, but having to play 35% of the game like that is just bad. Edit: Incase anyone is confused, when I say 6am I mean the rush to the doors.
So, let me get this straight. Before the ending, you can either choose to decommission Roxy, whose upgrade lets you see collectibles, or you can choose Monty, whose upgrade is *required to access some parts of the map,* and the one you don't pick first you're required to beat *without saves.* It's obvious that this game really went through development hell, but forcing you to complete a _third of the game without saving_ is really hard to defend.
Chica or Monty, but you're correct. Honestly, Chica's powerup is worthless because you have the laser gun and monty doesn't kill you if you're in freddy.
Leeman: "What the Hell kind of game makes you beat an entire third of it with no saves?" Dead Space 2 Hardcore Mode "Please allow me to introduce myself..."
Everyone else to Freddy: Father Freddy! (treats him well) Mark to Freddy: I want you to carry my coffin when I die Freddy: Awe thats so swe- Mark: So you can let me down one last time, you useless pet
Exactly that It's also like the old nes games that are inpossible just for the sake of padding play time and make the game seem like its longer and theres more to it otherwise when you actually beat the game it's like 30 mins tops
it’s such a shame this game has so many bugs and no saving after 6 a.m. the map is so cool and i really like everything in this. honestly one of my favorite fnaf games. it’s really sad tho because most people hate this game because of the bugs and no saving :(
Hes shot them before, but id assume since he can avoid them (despite being attracted to them like a magnet lmao), hed probably rather save the ammo for the bigger threats roaming around
This episode made me realize how thankful I am for the patch where you can save in the atrium, but still they shouldn’t have even disabled saving in the first place even if it was to make it more challenging it’s just stupid
There was a saving bug before the atrium save point came. You'd have to trigger the auto assist bot again at roxy raceway, which would set the game back to 05:15 or something, activating all save points again.
It’s definitely frustrating, but dunno, seems also kind of fair if it’s for a secret ending? Maybe getting an option of how u wanna play it would be better like: normal version with saving or hardcore without it
@@bekcha4170 If feels less like a 'secret ending' and more so a 'true ending' and since and you have so much to do in after the last save point, it's just going to cause people to stop playing the game out of frustration if they get caught when they did so much of the work. most people want to play that final ending and giving a one shot deal isn't all that fair when they didn't even tell them early on that choosing fazerblast would make the game harder to finish, you know?
I think they should just have restricted those, like, make them less common, so the few you can have keep the tension of losing progress, but they are enough so you dont have to play a third of the whole game without saving
They probably, maybe, could have pulled the "no save" gimmick if the game didn't break every other minute, and it was more forgiving/polished/better at explaining what the heck you have to do
At this point, it feels far more stressful than scary. The jumpscares don't even work, so it's just a noise we've heard a dozen times already, and death just means suffering and repetition.
@@Brooke_is_a_trollo That is no excuse. People paid a lot of money for the game. Telling them "don't worry, we finish it later!" after they already bought it is just dickish.
You just actually described bad game design to a T. It be different if it was more of a learning experience, but the game seems to be frustrating for the sake of being frustrating.
I mean tbf that's how most of these games work, not because of design per say but because you slowly get used to getting jumpscared. Stops being scary when you've done it enough times
@@Brooke_is_a_trollo They should have fixed most of the problems before the game got released. People paying for a game that has game breaking bugs, and being told to just wait until it gets patched isn't okay.
@JERRY tm if no one responds to the bots, then theres 3 or so replies on every comment that arent about the comment. If everyone replies to bots none of the replies are about the comment
No episode is completed without Mark yelling “FREDDDDYYYYY”. Or the awkward moment he shares with Freddy in the elevator with the music getting slow and intense.
They updated a single usable save station in the middle of the main area of the Pizza Plex. I'm sorry for your suffering during the anti-saving era, Mark.
@@enriqueesparza3858 there are honestly ways to make the game harder without removing the ability to save. I saw on Reddit about a glitch with picking up the robot head in Roxy RaceWay after 6am makes the game think you are at 5:15am so you can save but you still keep your pass and can continue playing the game.
Mark can still play the save file system you know. The 3 choice at the end I think it intended to find the vanny secrets. Mark should just reload the save file system before putting the eye inside Freddy that way he can still use the save system and find part for the Monty claw and other security pass upgrade if he want to find it. I already put the comment for mark don't know if he see it.
Thing is, valuable upgrades are also in the same boxes, so you gotta check them all. That's not what's motivating Mark, mind- he's just following the Shiny instinct.
90% screaming "Freddy", 10% normal screaming, 100% screaming. And becoming the King of Five Nights at Freddy's once more. For with each installment of the franchise, the crown must be removed from the head of the King and the King must fight amongst the others to gain it once more. Fear not. With Mark's army of unkillable squirrels (see his Inscryption series for reference, paarrrtt... 2? or 3? I think part 2), he shall reign supreme
no no, 80% screaming at freddy, 10% just screaming and having a breakdown, 5% becoming the king of FNAF, 4% enjoying the game. .... .......... *1% THE LOOOOOOOOOOOORE-* thank you for listening!
The no save function is pushing it. They should at least have a “you only have 4 more saves left before the system shuts down”. Or something like that.
@@rhinopoley right… making the saves more scarce would be fine like the errors from earlier but getting rid of them entirely is just insanity and would just discourage playing past the bad endings
@@Pylahskay I have a feeling that was exactly the point. I don't see why else you would disable saving unless the intent was to discourage further play. But at that point why even give the option? Why not just have the game end? It's so odd.
It was meant as a throwback to scott games where if you die you do it all again i dont know why everyone's so surprised. Problem is this game is open world and it simply doesn't work. I imagine they can update the game so you can save again and then that will solve that issue. The rest of the game is already done unfortunately they will have to forget it happened and hopefully move on to DLC that is better thought out like some parts of this game where.
@@Jordonater Batman Arkham Origins is open world and had a no save mode, which was way harder than this and it was the entire game. Granted it was optional and Batman fans are pretty die hard. Then again so are fnaf fans. But idk what the response to this game seems to be so far. However Arkham Origins was panned at first and people have been starting to like it a lot recently. I know at first I didn't really have any complaints but after replaying it I really like it, story wise mainly, but a lot of it does kinda have to do with the uniqueness of the no save mode. I mean for a dude running around in a suit, not being able to come back from dying sells the realism more, you actually have to take care closer to how you would in real life. But also, as advanced as games have become, personally it just feels like overall they actually have less. They look so much better than before but a lot of the actual gameplay is really cheap and surface level and bloated by collectibles or battle passes or shit. And having guides all over the internet or RUclips make trying to make a challenging game a pointless effort. It kinda feels like super Mario or Sly 1 wouldn't work today, first because apparently everyone hates not saving so much, but also because a lot of the intrigue would be removed. People would probably just watch someone stream it. That isn't necessarily bad (shit it's what I'm doing rn) but all the same the last really really good game I personally played was ghost of tsushima and before that…probably uncharted 4. There might be some others I can't think of now. But a lot of games are just a lot of fluff now despite requiring all these gigabytes. Shit I feel like game devs from the PS2 era would lose their minds and make some near perfect games with the tech today and it feels like a lot of imagination is wasted
The others boss fights were after they were destroyed. Roxys felt more like one as well but chicas didn’t cause she was just there as usual.(she appeared way to often around the map compared to the others especially Monty)
watching this series and my favourite parts are the uncomfortable elevator parts where mark is just staring at freddy as the music gets more disorented and it just gets creepier. but then mark proceeds to act like nothing ever happened
Let's be real, pain and suffering is FNAF's specialty. Especially when it comes to secret endings. The game has charm, I just wish it was delayed a little bit so they could iron out some of it's numerous bugs/problems
Yeah I guess so… but it’s okay, that’s what games have! Bugs! It’s unexpected during the players point of view and the developers haven’t found that out yet. And I bet they are still working on bugs. Correct me if I’m wrong. And you’re definitely right they should’ve spent a bit more time. Edit: yeah they DEFINITELY should of worked on it more before releasing it out. I didn’t play the game because I have no interest but my brother played it at he was disappointed. And so am I.
I think it needs more than just a delay- it really seems like the game was released before it could even properly structure itself. Like Mark said in the last video, there are moments which feel incredibly well choreographed, which are thrilling and engaging from the player, which move smoothly from one thing to the next- but in-between these moments are long stretches of archaic and pointlessly stressful gameplay (in that it stresses you out in a way that doesn’t meaningfully contribute to the horror aspect). I honestly think that large sections of the game need to be taken back to the drawing board, not to mention the various bugs that need to be ironed out.
Yeah the problem was that it was already delayed multiple times. I think they just bit off more than they could chew. My hope is that now after a ton of people play and find bugs, they can iron things out in updates over the next few months.
Gosh if it’s this annoying for the viewer, I can’t imagine how frustrating it is for Mark! Props to him for continuing to play for us, even when a good chunk of us would’ve put down the game a long time ago.
@BlooperSnooper couldn’t have said it better myself. The gaming industry is so saturated at the moment, it’s either FNAF, TLOZ or COD dupes and it’s so disappointing. And if it’s actually a good game, it’s likely plagued with “pay for the next stage, pay to upgrade”. We really need a new game, something absolutely out on a limb and actually well designed and executed, I know a lot of people are getting bored and sick of the same types of games coming out, especially when all of them are becoming half-assed and shouldn’t have left development so early like Security Breach.
I wish bigger game companies and dev teams wouldn't just release a game when it's very clearly not finished yet (or not tested enough) Plus the "no save run" you gotta do once you get to 6 am should have been OPTIONAL or something you get to do after you have beaten the game once!! (I mean it is optional in some way, if you chose leave, or vanney you obviously dont have to do it. But when you chose stay you should have the option to play with save stations enabled or at least get a limited number of those) It is really unfair to just throw you into the action without explaining stuff like new mechanics or objectives properly (but then they explain how to use your left mouse button to click on freddy after each click) after you've gone through 60 minutes of careful hide and seek with all the robobros just to either get killed because you didn't know what was goin on or because the game flipped you off, did a backflip and said fuck you and so you die to a bug of any kind. I would've already quit and uninstalled the game after the 2nd try with the no save run (but that's simply because I have 0 tolerance for that kind of bullcrap. Yes, practice makes (almost) perfect but that frustration ain't worth it in my eyes)
Freddy clunking in the background when you summon him is so terrifying, especially when his eyes glow in the dark. Apart from that he is kind of adorable
Me and my friends just pressed random buttons until it let us through. It was the most comically infuriating thing tho because the blue wasn’t in any of the corners like it’s was supposed to be.
usually mark loosing his mind makes me cackle, but the end of this episode was just pure agony and i felt soooo bad for him. its just not fair to have to do this whole thing without any option to save
i was taking college notes on the side while watching this video and i couldn’t concentrate because i was so stressed out seeing Montgomery chase Mark. i’m sort of the opposite, i don’t like seeing Mark unhappy and i sometimes get annoyed when he and other RUclipsrs start yelling irrationally but i can totally empathize with him in this situation and give him credit for trying his best to remain calm. removing checkpoints or placing them extremely far apart is such a stupid gimmick and takes away the fun and atmosphere of this game. it emphasizes methodical survival over simple horror and makes the game less scary than it already is
Yeah I agree I love his fnaf videos but these ones just feel….harsh and the whole game felt like a beta or a long demo with glitches and a few skip scenes
to summarize everything I've seen and heard people say: - save point disabling should have only been a side objective to re-enable them as soon as you choose to stay (the rumored Vanny spawn system should have been also been tied to this), or been for a one life only mode. - autosaves should have been set to occur after defeating a boss fight/survival section depending on difficulty (and balanced accordingly) - security drones are probably fine, but should have been HEAVILY affected by the Fazerblaster and Camera (i/e former kills on low difficulties like in the Fazerblaster arena, latter only stuns on all difficulties) - animatronics (Roxy in particular) should have had 2 objectives on how to deal with them; the current "destroy" option marked in the quest log, and a secret "save" option that can only be done following in-game notes and collectables (could even be heavily tied into the Fazerblaster and missing Glamrock Bonnie) - Party Pass drones shouldn't despawn until you're out of sight, if at all
Exactly It is unfair to completely disable the save system. Wished the save station had a cooldown rather than being striped away from the player. This game feels rushed and incomplete
It's a shame that the gameplay is often just "go here, now go here, now do back to the first place again" because the world is so detailed and amazing.
It's a great way to show off the detailed world and familiarize yourself with it before a final victory lap mission. Keep in mind, the victory lap can be HARROWING and TERRIFYING but it's still a victory lap in terms of the tropes of an open world.
@@casedistorted it was a seperate team i’m pretty sure, i think he just had creative control. i feel like time, budget, and too much ambition probably killed it
27:50 fun fact: Mark has now officially said “thank you Freddy, your thicc ass is saving me” while playing ever single FNAF game ever since the original
In Mark's defense, shutting off saves when the player still has that much to complete is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen in any videogame ever. I can forgive the bugs, but disabling saves in a game like this is inexcusable.
@@zeropelli7026 yeah lots of people complaining about it in the comments but they don't relise its the same as complaining about hard mode in the previous games. You are able to click "leave" and finish the game but for those who want an extra challenge you can keep playing to find all the secrets.
@@MonsterTeegs i dont know where you get this logic from. There is a difference between difficulty and having to do a 40min walking sequence again (especially after how many bugs we have seen that make progess impossible or kill you). This whole game is coded like crap and anyone that says otherwise is delusional
This game's difficulty is so strange on the one hand there's ridiculously convoluted sections like the maze, and on the other there's parts where you're with Freddy in maintenance and it'll throw up a message telling you that you need to click on his giant glowing face as if you're an idiot.
If you're an idiot ?? The reason I haven't finished this game when I "stay" it's because I can't pass the diagnostic part, where you put the claws in Freddy. I tried the diagnostic 3x. When I click to close the arm, he jump scares me. I got so frustrated on these 3x, that I uninstalled the game. I can't Anymore. Like Mark said: it's messing with my sanity.
Personally the main thing that is “horror” about this game is not being able to save after 6 😫😫 not being able to save after 6 completely takes away the actual horror aspects of the game because i’d just be scared of losing my progress rather than the actual jumpscares etc
I miss the adrenaline and pure fear i’d get watching fnaf because security breach was honestly just stress, confusion and being scared of losing progress 💀also the jumpscares dont feel the same 💔
While I get the whole "no saves so it's harder!" thing, there should be a few autosaves at certain points. That much game play should not have to be repeated.
monty’s mechanics are SO COOL. i wish we got to see more of him in this game because his leaping is just like a real alligator and is one of the best mechanics in the whole game
I feel like the inability to save after the point where you choose to stay is a little TOO punishing. Especially since the rest of the areas you’re experiencing at that point are new territory, so you don’t know what you’re running into and have to basically first try all the new challenges. I get it’s not supposed to be easy, but dang, they should have at least given him some auto saves after completing the main objectives.
seriously. he did so much shit. i can't even imagine how long it took to so all of it, and for ALL OF IT to be totally erased by one dumb mistake is way too much. that hurts so much, dude.
This is the biggest thing that I have against this game personally, it's even more frustrating than the bugs. I'm not opposed to, say, a hard mode of the game where you can't save at all (Once the game is fixed and isn't bugged to the point of being nearly unplayable at times), but just arbitrarily saying "Oh yeah, you know this crucial part of the game that you're gonna have to replay multiple times anyways because there's multiple endings? Yeah, we're gonna make it so you can't save" is just so stupid to me and I legitametly don't understand how they thought it was a good idea. Throw in the bugs and glitches that can lead to you dying for absolutely no reason and it's just ridiculous
But, how many people would allow him? If he did, how many months would people be commenting on his videos: When are you going to finish Security Breach? Are you ever going to go back to Security Breach? What happened to Security Breach? Are you ever going to finish Security Breach?
How I see it, Monty as a threat is broken. He's the main boss of the 3 main animatronics, as he doesn't show up often, but when he does, all hell breaks loose by making him an unstoppable beast. In the first chase of the game, Monty is kind of a pushover, not really making much of an attempt to stop you from escaping, which leads you inrto a false sense of security, and it doesn't help that he doesn't appear again until Monty golf. So you see Chica as the current biggest threat and decomission her first, before later realizing Monty is an actual threat. Then when you finally decomission him, he becomes a giant joke.
The fact that Bonnie is out of commission really kills the nostalgic feel of a fnaf game especially seeing the Bowling alley with his painting on the wall. R.I.P Bonnie and Foxy 😢
Real, i think maybe they didnt add them because they were fan favorites and wanted people to like the other animatronics, but thats just my theory, it is really stupid tho bc a lot of people wont even give the game a chance because it doesnt have Bonnie or Foxy
fr, I can understand foxy being retired like "ok we need a new character because foxy needs to be retired for a while" but Bonnie being replaced is just unfair
I’m so dumb, I thought the wet floor signs just made that noise for some reason. I didn’t even question it, I was like “huh, those wet floor signs make such a scary noise”
Ugh I’m with you. It hurts even more with the legacy of Scott Cawthon’s reputation. I can tell him and his team put so much effort into this iteration of the series, giving us all the fan’s asked for. The designs are beautiful, the map is so inflated and full of life and interesting locations…but the story… kind of… gets lost a bit. Like I feel like there was more planned…
No yeah it actually just seems shitty to play I don’t think I could submit myself to this torture. Hopefully mark reads ab the 6am save glitch I want to see him get the true ending but not at the cost of his sanity
@@chasestudio2736 at times, i feel like it’s very hard to tell if the individual story is bad or if this is the culmination of very disjointed and vague storytelling, you know? like it’s obvious that the franchise has kept a lot of story elements shrouded, obfuscating, and open to A LOT of options/interpretation as a means to infinitely extend its life as a huge cash cow…but it has to give eventually. all of the messy story has to catch up with them eventually and it feels like this is where it’s finally falling incredibly flat. whether it’s that culmination or just a really inadequate writing/storytelling team on this one…i cant tell. like you said, the map and designs are so cool. the bugs are a separate issue, but it feels like the writers couldn’t really CONNECT this really cool setting they were given to anything that feels like…gratifying? as an audience?
The awkward elevator moments get me everytime. Mark just stares at him and Freddy just stares back and Mark just smiles at him while Freddy is digging his eyes into his soul
I'm honestly impressed that Mark figured out the maze controls. Every youtuber I've seen either pressed random buttons or looked up a tutorial. Truly big brain Mark!
Mark getting caught by the security guard, then the music getting all stressful and one the of animatronics' steps suddenly sounding with occasional threats literally keeps ACTUALLY scaring me each time like you wouldn't believe it. the design of horror in this game is so impressive and unique. I cannot explain how terrified I get just watching somebody else play it
Part 1-7: relatively hard but still sorta easy and simple with just some creepy layers. Part 8-10: literal pain, screaming hell, suffering and 100000000000 bugs.
@the hamburglar are we at the point where it's acceptable for games to be an unfinished and buggy mess at release? Is it too much to ask for to have a finished game when you pay for it?
@@fatehruzman9280 yeah but let's face it. Fans are the ones who rushed the game. They couldn't wait any longer. Already too mad at postponed release dates, causing developers hurry up. About the paying part, do not worry since there will be some fixing upgrades
Not sure how many people have said this. But there is a way to save after staying. It’s a really helpful bug. If you go to Roxy’s Raceway and collect the maintenance robot’s head like you did before, you will enable saves. Don’t worry this doesn’t affect any save data or anything, it just lets you save your progress at stations again, for some reason.
It's probably because taking the head starts some kind of timer that is hard coded so doing it again makes it that game does not recognize "no saves" part of end game
It's really interesting watching these after I've read the first couple "Tales from the Pizza Plex" books. A lot of these places get referenced, and even have elements of the game, like the generators in the daycare. But then you have stuff like Mazercise, which I think became Ballora's Fit and Flex. If that'd been the case, this level miiiiiiight have been a lot tougher to navigate and probably to have designed. It's a series of crawling tubes that go up and down at sharp angles with platforms on each level. But as the levels go up, the tubes get narrower. It got to the point where the protagonist of the story, an adult male, got stuck several times, and Ballora (the half of her that's in there) dragged him through the tubing until all his bones were powdered and his skin was stretched unnaturally. I really do recommend the books. The stories are a little hit or miss sometimes, but overall it's a fun anthology series if you like body horror.
I truly hope that the creators of the game, or whatever-- actually add a save function at the end. Because if there is *that* much left you can do, or to do, you should be able to save.
I feel so sorry for Mark with this no save mode. It's honestly so frustrating and you can tell this is probably his least favourite FNAF playthrough he's ever done. I don't blame him
If it wasn't for Mark, fnaf wouldn't even have gained traction. And besides I'm sure he has nothing against Scott since he didn't develop Security Breach. But yeah, many can agree Fnaf Security Breach is the first worst game yet. Its not even a fan game yet works like one.
@@phoenixflambe3319 that's so true. Yeah I'm sure he has no hard feelings towards the creator and developers etc. It's just sad this game had a lot of flaws
I do think covid had a hand in this. It was delayed for so long and probably just wanted the game to go out when they could. It's a shame bc this game has a lot of good stuff in it, the bugs are a main issue though
Agreed. Huge game design flaw, both before and after that. Your "reward" for reaching late game is being punished by not being able to save the game, that could definitely discourage a lot of players from going on with the game. Even if their intention was to spice things up to finally reveal the narrative twist, that is still not enough of a reward for the player who just had a huge struggle due to artificial difficulty. But hey, there's probably going to be another FNAF game eventually, hopefully they learn from SB's mistakes!
@@devictor9486 Skip to the end for what I really think after writing this.. Wrong. "Late game" is not meant to be easy, it's meant to be hard. Regardless I can name a few endings that are extremely easy to get: "Leave" ending, secret door "Leave" ending, and the laser tag ending. Out of the last 3, I'm pretty sure the 3 star one is most difficult but the hidden lore (cd's especially) is harder to find/unlock. I think the thing I agree on is that it is too hard, it's just the security bots that need to be much less common and difficult. Much better and more fun for the game to nerf the bots and keep the no-saves imo.
@@brianparker1103 actually, its not Scott. He handed the game company an idea and they made the idea, the bugs and stuff arent really his fault. I know Scott sucks but I don't think there was ever any bugs in his games (not that the game company did bad, just fnaf was scotts baby so its a bit different I think)
especially considering there is SO MUCH late game stuff. if it were one or two missions it would be more doable but when it’s so easy to have missions left over it’s so discouraging to die constantly
Honestly this game is a bunch of junk. Considering other fan games did this concept better, we once again find ourselves questioning these major studio's being involved.
The mural in the golf area with Roxy snapping her club is peak environmental storytelling. Hell I wish I could look at all of the stylized artwork through the entirety of the game without combing over every frame of the videos. The entire pizzaplex looks so well designed
I like how he went this far into the game without eventually realizing that he absolutely CAN stun the staff bots because he didn't hit them in the eyes with the blaster earlier. The saves are still stupid. A bunch of miss shots caused him eternal suffering. (Along with other problems from this game)
Yes, 'Let's aim for their upper back and miss, oh it didn't stun them, must mean it doesn't work.' He needs to not get stuck on thinking one thing for such a long time.
@@joshuaanderson1712 but for the animatronics you can hit them anywhere and it will stun them, and the same goes for Vanessa. Why would he think the bots are any different
@@joshuaanderson1712 honestly, it does not make sense for an electrical standpoint for a robot to only be affected in the eyes when hit with a laser. They're animatronics, it shouldn't matter where the laser shoots because they aren't human, they're electrical, they're not gonna be blinded by the light, their system will screw up regardless because that's just how lasers work. I mean, they even made a joke about this in the laser tag place, the whole point of the "there is no medical repercussions for playing laser tag" is due to the fact that people with medical devices go defunct when in the presence of lasers, and majority of the time, they aren't in the eyes.
iirc too, theres videos online you can check out of people using those laser ball things or a discoball to mess with pedometers, specifically pokewalkers. And you can see just how powerful a laser can affect devices.

Imo its a really good way to hide the TRE ending. Remember that fnaf is a HORROR series at its core, and as the animatronics get less and less scary theres less and less scare factor, so the idea of a more meta sense of scare works for me. Too each their own though

@@michaelbuckersnah, it would be too hard. Maybe if they put some save after some really intense stuff.
@@YourNumberOneRated1997Salesmanyeah like, less saves but still you get to save

Let's be real, pain and suffering is FNAF's specialty. Especially when it comes to secret endings. The game has charm, I just wish it was delayed a little bit so they could iron out some of it's numerous bugs/problems
It was delayed, though
It's buggy as hell. I would prefer mark continuing Inscryption rather than FNAF SB tbf.

But when you chose stay you should have the option to play with save stations enabled or at least get a limited number of those)
It is really unfair to just throw you into the action without explaining stuff like new mechanics or objectives properly (but then they explain how to use your left mouse button to click on freddy after each click) after you've gone through 60 minutes of careful hide and seek with all the robobros just to either get killed because you didn't know what was goin on or because the game flipped you off, did a backflip and said fuck you and so you die to a bug of any kind.

to summarize everything I've seen and heard people say:
- save point disabling should have only been a side objective to re-enable them as soon as you choose to stay (the rumored Vanny spawn system should have been also been tied to this), or been for a one life only mode.
- autosaves should have been set to occur after defeating a boss fight/survival section depending on difficulty (and balanced accordingly)
- security drones are probably fine, but should have been HEAVILY affected by the Fazerblaster and Camera (i/e former kills on low difficulties like in the Fazerblaster arena, latter only stuns on all difficulties)
- animatronics (Roxy in particular) should have had 2 objectives on how to deal with them; the current "destroy" option marked in the quest log, and a secret "save" option that can only be done following in-game notes and collectables (could even be heavily tied into the Fazerblaster and missing Glamrock Bonnie)
- Party Pass drones shouldn't despawn until you're out of sight, if at all
See, you are making too much sense which is something the developers obviously did not care about.

@@devictor9486 Skip to the end for what I really think after writing this.. Wrong. "Late game" is not meant to be easy, it's meant to be hard. Out of the last 3, I'm pretty sure the 3 star one is most difficult but the hidden lore (cd's especially) is harder to find/unlock.

@@joshuaanderson1712 Mark isn’t exactly a smart dude. It’s pretty frustrating to watch him sometimes. I still support him because he’s a genuinely good human and deserves his success.
Mark is so fucking good at games. He did that whole Monty bit without dying once. That damn "you can't save after it hits 6:00 am" thing is so dumb
It feels like this game is unfinished, more than anything else. The whole world stops at 6 AM...
@@michaelc.8712 it should’ve been a mode you get after beating the game.
Imo its a really good way to hide the TRE ending.
Remember that fnaf is a HORROR series at its core, and as the animatronics get less and less scary theres less and less scare factor, so the idea of a more meta sense of scare works for me.
Too each their own though
@@michaelc.8712 Now of only the game weren't a hot mess, then it'd actually be fun to play a no save run.
@Mishan (е- бу ваших мам) 🅥 I love marks content more than yours :)))
Mark: Freddy, if I die, I want you to carry my coffin
Freddy: mark, that’s so sweet…
Mark: so you can let me down one last time
Freddy: ……
Omg 😭

It really isn't hard to avoid them. Mark sprints everywhere and gets wayyy too close to them every time he tries to pass them. They don't even see him, 90% of the time he bumps into them.
