Guys I love this man of God but let's be careful here, there is two parties to a marriage.if there is adultery, it is likely one is guilty and the other innocent or in some cases both the man and the woman committed adultery with other people. With either scenario the innocent may forgive and move on in the marriage. In the latter scenario both may forgive and move on. Now the scriptural dynamics start when pain rules and the offended says we can't continue in the marriage then each unique situation is subjected to scripture. So it is not like bible says because of adultery you should divorce. You can choose to forgive like God forgave you your sins. God is kind. But if it's too much for you to stay with your spouse who have committed adultery against you then apply scripture to your individual unique case because if you joke, you will be in the wrong. This is no joke. God is not a fool, He means his word. People want an easy way out of things. God doesn't live himself without a testimony. He prompted you not to go into that marriage you refused. That simple man he brought your way you said he was not handsome enough. Some were warned they refused. Every thing God would do for your peace he did but you refused. now you have gone to hit the wall and you want an easy way out? For how long will you continue to be selfish against God and your own soul. A preacher may direct you but bible is the ultimate. Forgive him or her and move on. Things to consider 1) marriage types the relationship between Jesus and his church or the bride of christ. Christ is the head.the church is not equal to christ. Christ loves the church but is above the church. 2)woman was created for the man, not the man for the woman (I wish I didnt have to remind you of that but its true nonetheless) A man and a woman looking for marriage must seek God.i will even go all the way to tell the woman seek God double because scripture doesn't give you the choice to divorce. The man you marry you must be sure of. It was that strong, that, the disciples said if it's so then it's not good to marry. Well its good to marry. A lot of Christians are enjoying their marriages all over the world
There is a confusion the way I understand this verse is completely different. Matthew 19:9 King James Version 9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. If a man marries a woman and finds out she committed fornication which fornication is when you sleep with another person when none are married. That’s when he can divorce with no curse upon them is referring to man. And may the Holy Spirit correct me if I’m wrong I see it like that. Saying that the man can divorce when he finds out he married the woman and she’s not virgin or she’s been fornicating. If that word would of said adultery I would understand that is during marriage how can a married person fornicate?
