That's what drew my attention my friend lol. I remember the Crow soundtrack dropping in maybe 1996-97 at absolute latest. Hate to say for sure but I've loved my reefer since this album first came out 🤙
John is a fuck'n Monster. Not often mentioned in the big realm of heavy hitters but IMHO he is an absolute fuck'n legend. Adaptable and versatile beyond
@@masterpimpjr9705 Age, man's pushing 60, many people fail to remember when they played in there peak (90s) they were all in their 30s, also Page isn't a classically trained vocalist
@@organicoregano nah man, Page's old clean style was very sustainable and effortless, not too far from speaking range. Loads of old guys can sing way higher in their range and well. He simply must have messed up his voice from pushing it with his strained vocal style (which I was never a fan of). He was a baritone crooner almost, can you imagine a jazz/sinatra style singer not being able to hit the verse notes without distortion just because they are in their 60s?
best Helmet's song
One of my favorite bands from the 90's.
Fuck, that fucking tone
Loudest band I ever heard. Toilet water in the stadium were vibrating like a T-Rex was in the building.
10+ years since release on THE CROW soundtrack.. and its LIVE.. SOUNDS FKG PERFECT
I meantb25+ years.. god, im old...

HELMET IS LIFE !!🤘🤟
Why is no one fucking losing there mind!!! It’s fucking helmet live. Dance!!!!!
No one is going to mention John Tempesta on drums?
I wasn't sure at first, but if you are confirming it, awesome!

True band from age of the 90´s!!!
His vocals have changed so much over the years. His voice in the 90s was very unique and addictive.
2005 is the last good version of this song I honestly think. He just doesn’t sound the same anymore

@@tarekwayne9193Have you heard the new album? Bit worse even.
1:08 gotta love Page's guitar coming in.
Nice bass sound 👍
Oh Betty
Helmet is in the vein.
Fucking incredible.
Bass tone is not right for this song, too clean
ruclips.net/video/lEnMb4m9lu0/видео.html her it is
@@imdone4923 haha
I agree.
Where’s Henry?
@@longhorn2615 He’s playing lapsteel now but Jeremy Chatelain was a pretty good replacement especially since he was in Handsome with the OG Mengede
That drummers a fuckin beast
john tempesta!
He has the best sound to his snare drum! No other band that I can think of has a snare that sounds like that.
This is one of the sickest things in existence I don't care what anyone says..
Milquetoast in size matters style :(
RARE sighting of Page's white ESP!
Neck pickups??
We don't need no stinking neck pickups!!
He keeps an old, rusty (tremolo) spring in the hole, which he claims is "built in reverb". LuLz
John Tempesta on drums? 🤔
Yep. He recorded they come back album, "Size Matters", on 2004 and stayed 1 year with Helmet after this.
Why is the audience so dead
I hate when they drop the original key of songs, it doesnt even feel heavier despite being lower.
I prefer their older material in drop d like the way it was but it works fine for their new stuff
Beiber just got put on notice...
Who's the rhythm guitarist here? I see he took after Page with the no-neck-pickup guitar thing.
What happened to the ErnieBall MusicMan ? Smh .
?
That was the prior bassists rig I believe
sounds like shit in drop C...
