I think she's sick here on top of it though. I've her live performances recently though and her voice is perfect. Saw her live last February. Absolutely incredible!
Love how everyone knocking lizzy voice here . The vocal instrument get beat up so much . Do you really think she going to deliver every time ? No she will relax and not stress her self . Most importantly if she has a gig that night. I remember these two at the open mics. here in baltimore and Philly just trying to make a name . She at least has a talented and doesn't need auto tune . So honestly bugger off if you think she is lacking .
She explained this in her Tumblr blog. Her vocal cords were getting thicker and she couldn't reach the notes she was used to being able to reach the way she always had. She started working with a vocal coach named Ron Anderson who helped her discover her whistle register. Problem f-ing solved. I just saw her this summer, and she sang this song live brought the house down. For our show she wore some 7-inch heels. She regretted that 10 minutes in. But she sounded f-ing amazing.
I guarantee this performance was early in the morning and if you've ever tried to sing in the morning you too would know hard it is to do! she kills on stage!

Guys, I love Halestorm as much as the next big fan but you gotta be realistic here, that was far from being a good performance for her. I don't care what mic they use, that's not gonna change the nasaly flat notes in this one. They're one of my favorite rock bands but this is a performance worth forgetting.
I’d imagine this song is really hard to pull off with just acoustic. I can’t say I would of done better singing it but she seemed not warmed up enough for it. Vocalist Tensed up a lot and it makes It really hard to belch your voice. None the less rly good singer and band.
Kinda sounds like she's really holding back, like she knows that she can't go full ham? Just a thought. The mic clearly isn't built for this kind of abuse, what with the fuzz you can hear frequently.
